Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar adalah inti dari proses pendidikan secara keseluruhan dengan guru sebagai pemegang peranan utama. Tugas guru yang utama adalah mewujudkan tujuan pembelajaran di sekolah dan mengembangkan potensi siswa. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 Pasal 3. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada kelas IV SD Al Hikmah Simo Kalangan Surabaya maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa: media youtube dalam pembelajaran siswa kelas IV-A materi Indonesia Kaya Budaya pada mata pelajaran IPAS terlaksana dengan baik. Dengan adanya bantuan kelas kontrol yang menjadi dasar, maka peneliti mendapatkan data-data dan dapat mengolah data yang telah ada, dengan hasil berdasarkan uji hipotesis bahwa hasil sig 0,006 < 0,05, dimana artinya penggunaan media youtube berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. dengan hipotesis yang ditetapkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, menjawab hipotesis bahwa ada pengaruh antara penggunaan media youtube dengan hasil belajar IPAS siswa. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan standar kriteria yang sudah ditentukan, baik dari standar uji normalitas dengan data yang sudah normal, uji homogen dengan varians yang sudah homogen, dan uji t.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi atas berkembang pesatnya teknologi informasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan atas penelitian ini ialah mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Instagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V mata pelajaran Matematika materi Volume Bangun Ruang di SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Yang desain penelitiannya yang dipergunakan merupakan Quasi Experimental atau eksperimen semu. Populasi yang dipergunakan dipenelitian ini ialah kelas V di SDN Bakung Temenggungan. Sampel yang dipergunakan pada penelitian ini ialah nonprability sampling, yaitu kelas A sebanyak 20 siswa dan kelas B 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan tiga tahap, yaitu pretest, treatment atau perlakuan, dan post test.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh aplikasi instagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V mata pelajaran matematika materi volume bangun ruang di SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah agar memanfaatkan aplikasi Instagram sebagai media pembelajaran baik pada mata pelajaran matematika maupun mata pelajaran lain. ABSTRACT : This research is based on the rapid development of information technology that can be used in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Instagram application on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Mathematics in the material of Space Volume at SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used is Quasi Experimental or quasi-experimental. The population used in this study is class V at SDN Bakung Temenggungan. The sample used in this study is nonprability sampling, namely class A as many as 20 students and class B 20 students. The data collection technique was carried out in three stages, namely pretest, treatment, and post test. The data analysis technique used the normality test, homogeneity test and t test. The conclusion of this research is the influence of the Instagram application on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in mathematics subject matter volume building space at SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Recommendations for further research are to use the Instagram application as a learning medium for both mathematics and other subjects.

Abstract

Problems in the learning process experienced in some elementary schools are less effective and efficient learning processes carried out by teachers so that student learning outcomes tend to be low. This study aims to Improve Student Learning Outcomes Using Learning Video Media in Grade 4 Student Animal Reproduction Materials SD Tunas Bakti Surabaya. This study uses classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that science learning using video learning media can improve student learning outcomes compared to before classroom action research was conducted.

Abstract

The importance of developing critical thinking skills in elementary education has gained increasing recognition, particularly through the implementation of inquiry-based learning (IBL) models. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the social inquiry learning model in enhancing critical thinking skills among fourth-grade students at an public elementary school in Surabaya. Employing a qualitative case study methodology, data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, reflective journals, and document analysis. The thematic analysis revealed significant improvements in critical thinking for 75% of the participants, highlighting key themes such as "Engagement in Critical Thinking" and "Interaction Patterns in Learning Activities." These findings support the theoretical frameworks of Vygotsky and Piaget, demonstrating the model's applicability in non-Western educational contexts. The study suggests that culturally responsive teaching methods, incorporating social interactions and structured inquiry, can significantly enhance cognitive development. However, the limited scope of a single school and a small sample size suggest the need for further research across diverse settings. Future research should explore the long-term impacts of inquiry-based learning and the role of teacher preparation in implementing these strategies. This research underscores the importance of interactive, student-centered learning frameworks in fostering critical thinking and calls for a shift towards more dynamic educational approaches to prepare students for complex global challenges.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of interactive media in science learning wich makes it difficult for students to understand abstract materials such as planetary movements. This study aims to determine whether Wordwall-based learning media is practical and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The subject of this study is Wordwall learning media designed for grade IV elementary school students. The method used is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation. Evaluation). Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies of previous and relevant scientific sources. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis of the result of literature studies and experts. The results of the study showed that the media developed met the criteria of very valid according to media experts and material experts, and was proven effective in improving student learning outcomes based on limited trials. Wordwall media provides interactive games that make it easier for students to understand concepts through visualization and active participation

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran flashcard berbasis kearifan lokal untuk menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air pada siswa kelas IV SD. Media dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan instrumen berupa angket validasi ahli, soal pre-test dan post-test, serta angket respons siswa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media sangat valid dengan persentase kevalidan 96,43%. Efektivitas diukur melalui Ngain dan menunjukkan hasil yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media yang dikembangkan ini sangat positif, mencapai 92,3% di kelas IV-A dan 96,3% di kelas IV-B. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini valid dan efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap keragaman budaya serta menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air.Kata Kunci: flashcard; karakter cinta tanah air; kearifan lokal; pengembangan media; siswa kelas IV SD

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has significantly influenced children's behavior, including elementary school (SD) students. One of the trending activities is the TikTok dance challenge, which involves creating and sharing dance videos through the TikTok platform. This research aims to examine the impact of the TikTok dance trend on the characteristics of elementary school students. This article is a literature review that seeks to analyze how the TikTok dance trend affects the characteristics of elementary school students from social, emotional, and academic aspects. This study employs a qualitative approach using literature review methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through relevant scientific sources in databases on Google Scholar. Data analysis techniques were conducted qualitatively with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study results show that this trend has a dual impact, on one hand supporting children's self-expression and creativity, but on the other hand causing challenges such as learning distractions and the negative influence of adult content. Therefore, the role of guidance from parents and teachers becomes the key factor in minimizing the negative effects of this trend.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the technology-based educational game Educandy in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Pakis V Surabaya, especially in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The background of this study is based on the low learning outcomes of students caused by conventional learning methods that are less interesting. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and evaluation of pretests and posttests. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the use of Educandy can increase student motivation, involvement, and understanding of the subject matter. Observation data shows an increase in student enthusiasm for learning, while the evaluation results show an increase in the average score from 78 to 93 after the implementation of the learning media. In addition, student responses to the use of Educandy are very positive, where the majority feel more enthusiastic, confident, and understand the material better. Thus, Educandy is proven to be effective as an interactive learning media that can improve learning outcomes and create a pleasant learning atmosphere in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan berlatar belakang adanya permasalahan yang terjadi pada keterampilan membacas dan menulis di kelas 1 SDN Pakis V Surabaya hal ini menjadi dasar bahwa masih terdapat beberapa siswa kelas 1 di SDN Pakis V Surabaya kesulitan dalam merangkai kata atau kalimat dan membaca karena kurangnya media pembelajaran yang mendukung. Adapun tujuan lain yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifitasan pada media pembelajaran Roda Pintar berbasis Digital yang akan dikembangkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan yaitu Reseacrh and Development (R&D). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1B di SDN Pakis V. Data penelitian yang akan diperoleh meliputi observasi, validasi,lembar tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah data uji validasi instrumen, hasil belajar dan data angket siswa terhadap media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari 2 ahli media sebesar 98%, ahli materi sebesar 95%,  hasil belajar siswa sebesar 92% dan respon siswa diperoleh  nilai rata-rata sebesar 92%.

Abstract

Kasus pernikahan dini di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat tercatat semakin meningkat. Pada tahun 2022 terdapat 85 kasus yang masuk di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Lombok Tengah berkaitan dengan permohonan dispensasi menikah pada pasangan di bawah umur. Faktor budaya dan penggunaan media sosial memegang peranan penting terhadap tingginya kasus pernikahan anak di Kecamatan Jonggat, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Selain itu, budaya kawin lari (Merariq) juga sangat menentukan meningkatnya pernikahan anak di bawah umur di kecamatan ini. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut Tim Pengabdi dari PGSD, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya bermitra dengan Pemerintah Kecamatan Jonggat, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat turut berkontribusi menekan angka pernikahan anak usia dini di Kecamatan Jonggat. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka, permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra pengabdi adalah 1) terbatasnya SDM di Kecamatan Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat yang melakukan sosialisasi pencegahan pernikahan anak; 2) belum tersedianya tim konseling terhadap anak-anak di Kecamatan Jonggat, utamanya anak-anak jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Solusi yang akan dilakukan tim pengabdi bekerjasama dengan pemerintah di Kecamatan Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat adalah 1) memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dan siswa usia Sekolah Dasar mengenai dampak pernikahan anak; 2) melakukan konseling penanganan dan pencegahan penikahan anak kepada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode hybrid, yaitu secara luring dan daring. Sosialisasi secara luring diberikan kepada warga masyarakat umum dan orang tua siswa, sedangkan pelaksanaan secara daring dilakukan kepada para siswa SDN 3 Puyung Kecamatan Jonggat, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat.
