Abstract

This study is unearthing the localizing process of SDG in Bangladesh in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. Though nations bear the main responsibility for the SDGs, these goals specifically call for involvement from local authorities. Around 12 of the 17 SDGs require comprehensive strategies at the grassroots level to tackle interconnected issues like poverty, poor health, social challenges, and environmental degradation, with exceptions being Goals 9, 12, 13, 14, and 17. Bangladesh's constitution wisely allocates significant responsibilities for social and economic development, including the formulation and execution of plans concerning public services and economic progress, to the local government bodies, particularly the union parishad (UP), which serves as the primary interface with the community [Article 59(2)(c)(Constitution, 2004)]. Local Government Institutions in Bangladesh are positioned to have a significant influence on the localization of the SDGs, given their proximity to the most marginalized and frequently vulnerable rural communities, allowing for direct impact. Despite this potential, they have yet to make a substantial contribution to SDG localization, and with the deadline approaching, there is a pressing need to address this issue. This paper seeks to examine the obstacles encountered by local government in Bangladesh in their efforts to localize the SDGs, aiming to gain insight into the challenges hindering effective policy implementation.

Abstract

Beautiful music requires precisely tuned instruments. Tuning a guitar is necessary for any guitarist on their first day. This work demonstrates an understanding of the critical characteristics that must be considered while developing an acoustic guitar tuner and the logical process of designing such a tuner. The study aimed to create an algorithm using the Butterworth Filter and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) capable of adequately analysing the frequency spectrum of a plucked guitar string to determine its fundamental frequency. The developed system compared the detected frequency and the standard frequency of the picked guitar string, which then requested the user on the tuning state of that corresponding string. The error in frequency detection was found to be in the order of 0.02%. The MATLAB App Designer tool created a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that users could use to easily tune guitars using the generated application. The implemented tuner overcame the steep learning curve and high sensitivity of traditional ones.

Abstract

This community service activity is used to provide educational assistance that is hampered due to pandemic conditions that hit Indonesia or hampered due to other factors. This assistance is to catch up (learning loss) in the learning process which is carried out independently at the location closest to the student's home. This assistance uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which prioritises the utilisation of existing assets and potential around the target community. This community service activity provides learning assistance to communities in the Southwest Sumba district of NTT in the West Wawewa and Kodi sub-districts and is equipped with making learning modules for students. The mentoring time is from July 2023 to August 2023. The results of this service are assistance to teachers, community leaders, and young people. This mentoring activity aims to train participants to implement the Community Education clinic programme by providing modules in the form of learning manuals and LKPD for students. The manual contains learning steps, while the LKPD contains materials and exercises for students. LKPD contains tasks and socio-cultural based language learning. Then the mentoring participants practised how to teach based on the guidebook and LKPD in groups. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan pendampingan pendidikan yang terhambat karena kondisi pandemi yang melanda Indonesia maupun terhambat karena faktor lain. Pendampingan ini guna untuk mengejar ketertinggalan (learning loss) dalam proses belajar yang dilakukan secara mandiri di lokasi terdekat rumah siswa. Pendampingan ini menggunakan pendekatan (ABCD) Asset Based Community Development, yang mengutamakan pemanfaatan aset dan potensi yang ada di sekitar masyarakat sasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan pendampingan belajar kepada masyarakat di wilayah kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya NTT di kecamatan Wawewa Barat dan Kodi serta dilengkapi dengan pembuatan modul pembelajaran bagi peserta didik. Waktu pendampingan adalah pada Juli 2023 sampai denegan Agustus 2023. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan kepada guru, tokoh masyarakat, dan muda mudi. Kegiatan pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk melatih para peserta untuk melaksanakan program klinik Pendidikan Masyarakat dengan memberikan modul berupa buku petunjuk pembelajaran dan LKPD untuk siswa. Buku panduan berisi Langkah-langkah pembelajaran, sedangkan LKPD berisi tentang materi dan latihan untuk siswa. LKPD berisi tentang tugas-tugas dan pembelajaran Bahasa berbasis sosial budaya. Kemudian peserta pendampingan mempratekkan cara mengajar berdasarkan buku panduan dan LKPD yang ada secara berkelompok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana penggunaan metode langsung dalam strategi “Student Expedition” yang diaplikasikan dengan pembelajaran berbasis digital di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Program Khusus kartasura yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka. Apakah penggunaan metode langsung dalam strategi “Student Expedition” adalah pilihan yang tepat untuk mengambil perhatian siswa ketika pembelajaran sedang berlangsung. Dan peneliti juga akan menganalisa seberapa efektif penggunaan metode langsung dalam strategi “Student Expedition” tersebut yang diaplikasikan dengan pembelajaran berbasis digital kepada siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Program Khusus Kartasura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian lapangan (field research). Pembelajaran Bahasa arab berbasis digital di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Program Khusus Kartasura dilaksanakan secara offline atau tatap muka dengan siswa. Adapun strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru yaitu strategi “Student Expedition” dengan metode langsung, dimana guru menerapkan kemampuan berbicara dalam bahasa arab saat menyampaikan materi secara langsung menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Professional dalam menampilkan E-Modul sudah tepat dan sesuai dengan pembelajaran digital. Metode pembelajaran bahasa arab berbasis digital di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Program Khusus Kartasura dikatakan efektif menggunakan metode langsung dalam strategi “Student Expedition” ketika guru mengekspresikan dengan bahasa tubuh ketika mengucapkan bahasa arab kepada siswa didalam kelas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of PGMI IAIN Surakarta students in practicing the pedagogical, professional, personality, and ethical competencies of PPL students before carrying out practical field experiences. This research includes qualitative research and is descriptive-analytical. Data in this study were collected through interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The analytical model used is an interactive model of analysis. The readiness of students to do PPL at MI is obtained from microteaching to practice teaching skills. Future trainees will be able to practice real classroom teaching skills when they begin to teach at MI. Micro teaching is the right way to train prospective students to practice teaching competencies. In general, PGMI IAIN Surakarta study program students are very ready to carry out Field Experience Practice (PPL) in 2019. This is shown by data that 100% of PGMI IAIN Surakarta study program students belong to the very ready category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas buku ajar Bahasa Arab kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia berdasarkan standar BSNP (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan). Empat aspek utama yang dievaluasi meliputi kelayakan isi, penyajian, bahasa, dan grafika. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis konten, dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi dan analisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, kategorisasi, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa buku ini memperoleh kategori "Sangat Layak" pada aspek bahasa (94,28%) dan grafik (95,55%), "Layak" pada aspek penyajian (84,61%), dan kelayakan isi (73,33%). Secara keseluruhan, buku ajar ini dinilai "Sangat Layak" dengan skor akhir sebesar 85,26%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi pengembangan kualitas buku ajar bahasa Arab di masa mendatang agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran siswa.

Abstract

Digital learning makes it easier to access learning, digital learning can be done on various platforms, one of which is youtube. The purpose of this research is to describe the learning content of listening to Arabic on the Arabic podcast youtube channel. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the content analysis method. The primary data in this study is in the form of listening learning content on the Arabic podcast youtube channel, while the secondary data in this study are books and scientific papers that discuss learning listening skills and digital learning. The data collection technique in this study uses Observation and Documentation Techniques, the Data Analysis Technique in this study uses Qualitative Analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The video on the Arabic podcast youtube channel shows the use of expository learning strategies and uses a combination of two learning methods, namely the lecture learning method and the translated learning method. The material used comes from the book al kalam 100 conversations in Arabic volume 2, and is delivered in 2 languages. In addition, the media and video communication aspects selected on the ara podcast youtube channel also show the use of six principles that must be considered in the creation of media elements. Judging from the analysis of the content of the content, it allows the Arabic Podcasts channel to be used as an example or reference for content developers in creating content to learn Arabic listening skills and to acquire listening skills in students.Keywords: Listening Skills; Digital learning; YouTube مستخلص البحثيسهل التعلم الرقمي وصول التعلم، ويمكن إجراء التعلم الرقمي على منصات مختلفة، أحدها يوتيوب. الغرض من هذا البحث هو وصف المحتوى التعليمي للاستماع إلى اللغة العربية على قناة البودكاست العربي على يوتيوب. النهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هو نهج نوعي مع طريقة تحليل المحتوى. البيانات الأولية في هذا البحث هي محتوى تعليمي للاستماع على قناة البودكاست العربي على يوتيوب، بينما البيانات الثانوية في هذا البحث هي كتب وأوراق علمية تناقش تعلم مهارات الاستماع والتعلم الرقمي. تستخدم تقنية جمع البيانات في هذا البحث تقنيات الملاحظة والتوثيق، وتستخدم تقنية تحليل البيانات في هذا البحث التحليل النوعي، وهي تقليل البيانات وعرض البيانات واستنتاجها. الفيديو على قناة البودكاست العربي على يوتيوب يدل على استخدام استراتيجيات التعلم التفسيري ويستخدم الجماع من طريقتين للتعلم، وهما طريقة تعلم المحاضرات وطريقة تعلم الترجمة. المواد المستخدمة أُخذت من كتاب الكلام 100 محادثة باللغة العربية المجلد 2، ويتم تقديمها بلغتين. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تظهر جوانب الاتصال الإعلامي والفيديو المختارة على قناة البودكاست العربي على يوتيوب أيضا استخدام ستة مبادئ يجب مراعاتها عند إنشاء عناصر الوسائط. ومبدأ التخصيص. انطلاقا من تحليل محتوى المحتوى، فإنه يسمح باستخدام قناة البودكاست العربي كمثال أو مرجع لمطوري المحتوى في إنشاء محتوى لتعلم مهارات الاستماع باللغة العربية واكتساب مهارات الاستماع للطلاب.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Sufism in shaping the strong religious character of the Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Kasengan Hamlet, Sumberkatimoho Village. A resilient religious character is essential amid social dynamics and the challenges of modern times. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The findings show that Sufi practices such as dzikir, tahlil, shalawat, and khotmil Qur’an, regularly carried out by the Muslimat NU, contribute significantly to forming patient, humble, disciplined, and compassionate characters. Sufism serves not only as spiritual teaching but also as a powerful tool for moral and social development. Through religious activities rooted in Sufi values, the Muslimat NU in Kasengan Hamlet have become role models within their community. This study highlights that Sufism plays a crucial role in forming a religious personality that is not only spiritually devoted but also resilient in facing various social life challenges.

Abstract

The Nyadran tradition, as part of the local culture of Sumberdawe Village, not only has social dimensions but also contains spiritual values closely related to the teachings of Sufism in Islam. This study aims to examine how Sufi values are manifested in the implementation of the Nyadran tradition and how this tradition plays a role in shaping the spiritual awareness of the community. The main problem in this study is the lack of understanding among the community about the esoteric meaning (batiniah) of the Nyadran tradition, which is often only seen as a ritual inherited from ancestors. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with observation techniques and in-depth interviews. The results show that the Nyadran tradition contains Sufi values such as ikhlas (sincerity of heart), tawakal (submission to Allah), zuhud (simple living), and mahabbah (love for others and ancestors). These values are reflected in the practice of charity, joint prayer, pilgrimage to graves, and the spirit of community togetherness. The conclusion of this study is that the Nyadran tradition is not just a customary ritual but also a vessel for internalizing Sufi values that strengthen the spirituality and social ethics of the Sumberdawe Village community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Sufi (Tasawuf) values among students (santri) at Pondok Pesantren Sirajut Thalibin, Racek, Tiris, Probolinggo, in facing the challenges of globalization. In an era marked by rapid technological advancement and shifting cultural values, santri are often exposed to influences that may distance them from spiritual and moral foundations. This research focuses on how the pesantren instills Tasawuf teachings—such as sincerity (ikhlas), patience (sabr), reliance on God (tawakkul), and modest living (zuhud)—to strengthen the students' spiritual resilience. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that through daily practices like dhikr, structured spiritual training, and the integration of Tasawuf into the curriculum and social life, students develop strong moral character and are better equipped to navigate the complexities of modern life without losing their spiritual identity. The conclusion emphasizes that the internalization of Tasawuf values plays a vital role in shaping santri who are morally grounded, spiritually aware, and socially responsible in the face of globalization.
