Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas aplikasi MiSK Arabic terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa di MTs Negeri 1 Karanganyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Desain one group pretest posttest adalah eksperimen yang berfokus pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Adapun yang di observasi dan diberi perlakuan adalah siswa kelas VII dengan jumlah 30 orang pada mata pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Hasil data yang diperoleh setelah menggunakan aplikasi game MiSK Arabic menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam penguasaan kosakata Bahasa arab setelah menggunakan aplikasi game MiSK Arabic. Seperti yang ditunjukkan pada hasil analisis deskriptif, yaitu diperoleh nilai rata- rata pretest siswa = 66.33 dan pada postest = 91.00 maka Kesimpulan dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan nilai siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi MiSK Arabic.

Abstract

This study was designed and conducted with the aims to investigate the status of the parasitic infestations of buffaloes rearing in the Haor and bordered hilly areas of Sylhet district of Bangladesh as the ecology and the geographical facts are facilitating favorable conditions for parasites. Based on zoo-geography of different haor and hilly areas belongs to five Upazilla of Sylhet district were selected as study areas. A total 200 (40 samples from each Upazilla) fecal samples from randomly selected study buffalo based on considering survey findings, age, sex and seasons were collected and tested using direct smear method, floatation and McMaster egg counting techniques. Fascioliasis was the most prevalent (20.5%) parasitic infection, with an overall prevalence of 84.5%. The level of parasite infection varied throughout the five haor and adjacent areas of Sylhet; Jaintapur had the highest level (85%) and Zakiganj the lowest (65%). Out of the three helminth categories, Guwainghat had the highest prevalence of treamtaode (31.25%) and cestode (28.12%), while Kanaighat had the highest (51.72%) prevalence of nematode infection. Fascioliasis was most prevalent (46%) in adult buffaloes, while toxocariasis was highest in buffalo calves. Comparatively higher parasitic infection was seen in wet season (80.82%), followed by 61.25% in dry season.  It is concluded that, prevalence of helminthes parasite are much more higher in buffaloes in the haor and bordered hilly areas in Sylhet due to zoo-geographical facts, which to be seriously considered by the related authority and would formulate a specific helminthes control strategic plan for haor areas.

Abstract

Significant changes in the world of Indonesian education occurred with the introduction of the concept of Independent Learning as part of educational reform. This concept emphasizes student independence, increased creativity, and active participation in the learning process. The principal's leadership is key in managing and realizing the concept of Independent Learning at the secondary school level. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Wringin with the aim of in-depth and analyzing the leadership role of the school principal in realizing the concept of Independent Learning. The research method used is qualitative, with a focus on exploring the dynamics of the principal's leadership, the challenges faced, and the strategies implemented in responding to the concept of Independent Learning in the school. The research results show that the leadership of the school principal has a strategic role in forming a school culture that supports Freedom of Learning. The role of the school principal is not only limited to administrative aspects, but also has a strategic impact in facing technological developments and globalization to prepare students to become independent and creative individuals. This research is expected to contribute to the educational leadership literature, while the results can become a practical guide for school principals, teaching staff, and other stakeholders in achieving the goal of Independent Learning in the school environment.

Abstract

The aim of the class VI KMI program is to shape humans into a group of leaders and provide benefits to the universe which in the end is expected to be a role model for all mankind. The purpose of the process of implementing the class VI KMI program is to produce professional Al-Iman Babadan Islamic Boarding School teachers for all class VI students as a prerequisite for further graduation. The "Amaliyatu At-Tadris" program is a program that has a big impact and is expected to produce teachers who are professional and competent in the teaching process. From the explanation above, the objectives of this study are as follows: (1) To find out the concept of holding the KMI class VI graduation program, (2) To find out the implementation of the graduation program for class VI KMI students, (3) To find out the evaluation process for each candidate teacher training program to answer the questions above, this study used a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection techniques used in this study were interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique modeled by Miles and Huberman, which includes: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the analysis of this study concluded that: (1) The reason was that class VI KMI was prepared and equipped with education and teaching science, methodology and didactics, psychology and teaching practice as well as knowledge of classic/Turast books so that their knowledge was comprehensive, (2) Implementation of the graduation program Sixth grade KMI, where one of the materials is Amaliyatu At-Tadris, will be carried out through a contextual approach using the lecture and demonstration method which will be carried out within one month under the direction of the teacher. Experienced boarding schools and teachers as leaders, the Teacher Council as a body, and all KMI graduate students as program implementers (3) The evaluation of the Al-Iman Islamic boarding school education program is carried out annually, semiannually, monthly, weekly, and at the end of each program/committee. The evaluation process at this Islamic boarding school is divided into two parts, namely in writing and after dedication is mandatory.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Universally, the existence of pesantren has a dual purpose. First, it maintains Islamic values ​​with an emphasis on the educational aspect. Second, Islamic boarding schools have a role and function in improving public education as an effort to improve the quality of human resources in order to form a society that behaves and understands Islamic values. To obtain valid and correct data, the authors used a qualitative research approach. Meanwhile, the informants were community leaders and pesantren alumni. Researchers make direct observations of the object of research, and the type of research used by researchers is a type of case study research. The results of the research conducted by the researcher were that there were two processes in social change that occurred in the research location, first, community leaders held religious activities aimed at providing an understanding of the community about how to live life according to religious teachings, the second was community leaders implementing the values ​​of pesantren life as a form of practice of what has been taught in activities that have been held. The factors that cause social change in society are caused by the community itself and caused by the occurrence of modernization. As for the impact of social change that occurs is an increase in public awareness of education, especially religious education. Keywords: Islamic Boarding School Education, Community Social Change

Abstract

Climate change causes the air conditions inside buildings to increase in temperature. This causes the demand for cooling processes to increase every year. The use of cooling equipment currently requires quite a lot of electricity costs and produces CO2 emissions. The experimental study of the effect of cooling pad surface shape on passive cooling performance to produce a cooling device that is economical and environmentally friendly. The variations of the cooling pad surface were sinusoidal wave and triangular wave. The method was experiments carried out in the laboratory to control environmental conditions. The test results showed that the sinusoidal wave variation had a temperature drop of 1.1 °C lower than the triangular wave. The sinusoidal wave variation has 5% lower relative air humidity than triangular wave variation but air humidity for both variations had increased. Meanwhile, the use of silica sand could not reduce air humidity, it was because of the sum of sand that was used.

Abstract

In the midst of the dominance of global languages like English and the shift from fus-ha to 'amiyah, the Arabic language faces existential challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of preservation strategies through curriculum and digital technology. Arabic, as the language of the Qur'an, holds a central position in shaping the religious identity of Muslims worldwide. However, the era of globalization presents significant challenges to its sustainability, particularly due to the global dominance of English in the realms of science, technology, and media, as well as the increasing shift from standard Arabic (fus-ha) to local dialects (‘amiyah). This study explores these challenges through a qualitative literature review, integrating linguistic, sociocultural, and technological perspectives. The findings reveal that while Arabic remains a core symbol of Islamic religious identity, it faces pressures from linguistic hybridization, educational transitions, and technological marginalization. Nonetheless, globalization also presents opportunities through the proliferation of Arabic-based digital media, online education, and language learning applications. Strategic efforts to preserve Arabic include curriculum strengthening, technological integration, and global cultural promotion. This study underscores the enduring relevance of Arabic not only as a medium of religious expression but also as a vehicle for sustaining Islamic values and cultural heritage in a rapidly evolving global context.

Abstract

This article was prepared with the aim of examining the criteria for leadership, Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective in the book Ihya' Ulumuddin developed rapidly among pious Salafus. With a deeper understanding of the thinking of the leader, Abu Ḥamid Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Al-Ghazali Al-Safi'i , also known as Al-Ghazali, an Islamic hujjah (1058–1111 AD), highlighted the substantive component of the usefulness of religious teaching rather than the formal symbolic aspect, bringing together elements that had been separated from the figure of the leader; Leaders must be elected by the people. Imam Al-Ghazali defines an ideal leader as a leader who upholds morality, science and religion. they must also be able to influence the environment in which they operate, heal and prevent destruction in their country or organization, and create a just and prosperous society. The method used is library research, and data analysis using a symbolic interaction approach. It is hoped that the results of this research can explain Imam Al-Ghazali's views regarding leaders in the book Ihya' Ulumuddin.
