Abstract

Diagnosis komunitas merupakan suatu kegiatan yang digunakan untuk menentukan apakah terdapat masalah kesehatan pada sekelompok masyarakat dengan cara pengumpulan data di lapangan. DBD di tularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes betina yang membawa virus dengue di tubuhnya. Nyamuk Aedes Prevalensinya yang tinggi dan penyebarannya yang semakin luas menjadikan penyakit ini prioritas masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Kemudian dilakukan Musyawarah Masyarakat Desa dengan mengambil prioritas masalah menggunakan metode USG (urgency, seriousness, growth). Untuk hasil analisis data primer yang telah dilakukan, permasalahan kesehatan yang menjadi prioritas di RT 02 dan 13 Dusun Pringgolayan adalah kebiasaan menggantung baju bekas pakai, yang termasuk dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Kemudian melakukan intervensi menggunakan media penyuluhan berupa power point. Kata kunci : 1) Diagnosis Komunitas 2) DBD

Abstract

Background: The occurrence of traffic accidents is proof that road users are undisciplined in riding. Accident rates among the students of SMKN 3 Mandau Duri reached their highest levels in 2019 and 2022. Based on the information from interviews conducted with 6 students, the causes of the accidents were that they rode without SIM C, three of them mentioned that wearing a helmet was not compulsory, and peers asked them to act unsafely. This study is aimed at finding out the correlation between knowledge, attitudes, possession of SIM C, as well as peers and safety riding behaviors among the Grade XII students of SMKN 3 Mandau Duri. Methods: This study is quantitative in nature using a cross sectional approach. The population of this study consisted of 309 students from which proportional random sampling was applied so that as many as 174 respondents were selected as the samples. The data analysis was executed using univariate and bivariate Chi Square tests. The instrument utilized in this study was the questionnaire from researchers whose validity and reliability have been tested. Results: Correlations were found between knowledge and safety riding behaviors (p-value = 0.006), attitudes and safety riding behaviors (p-value = 0.000), SIM C possession and safety riding behaviors (p-value = 0.000), and peers’ influence and safety riding behaviors (p-value = 0.000). Conclusion: There were correlations between knowledge, attitude, SIM C possession, as well as peers’ influence and safety riding behaviors among the Grade XII students of SMKN 3 Mandau Duri

Abstract

Background: Most workers have not complied with the standard operating procedures in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), apart from the lack of awareness of workers about the importance of using PPE, there are other factors, namely the Arivlas Workshop in Bantul Regency does not have occupational safety and health risk management so that the existing risks cannot be controlled which will cause the risk of work accidents when using machines,  equipment and during the installation process. Method: This study is descriptive with a qualitative type of research that aims to obtain an overview of the analysis of safety and health risks in the canopy making process at the Arivlas Workshop in Bantul Regency. The research subjects were taken by purposive sampling, using HIRADC tools with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The respondents in this study were 3 workers as the main informants, and workshop owners as key informants. Result: In the canopy making activity, a risk assessment of 20 risks included in the moderate risk category was still tolerable but action or handling was needed so that the risk could be reduced, and 15 high risks were unacceptable so attention was needed to take action or handle as soon as possible. Conclusion: The process of making canopies at the Arivlas Workshop in Bantul Regency has a high potential for hazards and risks to occupational safety and health, the dangers contained in canopy making activities are the dangers of movement, gravity, mechanics, electricity, chemicals, noise, and radiation. With the risk of hearing loss, feet hit by iron, scratches, electric shocks and the risk of inhaling chemicals such as paint and dust from polishing results.

Abstract

Safety driving suatu perilaku yang memiliki keterampilan dalam mengemudi aman dengan tujuan untuk meminimalisir serta menghindari adanya insiden lalu lintas. Masalah yang ditemukan pengetahuan driver taksi pandawa terhadap perilaku safety driving tergolong kurang baik. Hal ini terlihat dari perilaku driver yang masih melanggar aturan lalu lintas seperti melaju kecang dengan kecepatan 80km/jam, menerima panggilan telepon kerika sedang mengemudi, tidak menggunakan safety belt dan juga mengalami kecelakaan ringan hingga berat seperti enabrak trotoar, menabrak pohon, bahkan menabrak pengguna jalan lainnya. Mengetahui hubungan perilaku keselamatan mengemudi (safety driving) pada driver Pandawa Taksi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah driver taksi Pandawa berjumlah 60 orang dan menggunakan data primer. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan chi square test. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan driver taksi pandawa dengan perilaku safety driving (P-Value 0.000). Fasilitas sarana driver terhadap perilaku mengemudi aman sebanyak 31 driver (51.7%) yang sesuai. Sehingga ada hubungan antara fasilitas dan sarana terhdapa perilaku safety driving pada driver taksi Pandawa. Hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku safety driving (P-Value 0.016) dinyatakan ada hubungan bermakna antara dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku safety driving pada driver taksi Pandawa.

Abstract

Background: Work accidents with a high rate of fatality are dominated by the ones in construction work. Accidents could be caused by a number of factors, one of them is workers’ behavior. Knowledge and audiovisual media are the supporting factors and predispositions that influence workers’ behavior. Some workers have not understood the function of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the standard application of PPE. This study is aimed at finding out the feasibility of audiovisual media and the average level of OSH knowledge among the workers before and after intervention. Method: This is a Level 4 Research and Development (RnD) study consisting of Product Design, Product Validation, Product Revision, and Limited Trial. The sample were the workers of PT Sasmito at the construction project of FMIPA building in UGM Yogyakarta consisting of 40 people. Validity test of the media was conducted by distributing questionnaires to material and media experts. Limited trial was conducted by distributing the questionnaire before and after intervention. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate analysis, i.e. Wilcoxon sign rank. Results: The total scores resulting from the validity tests were 76% by the material experts and 85% by the media experts, meaning that the audiovisual media was categorized as “feasible” and “highly feasible”. Hence, the audiovisual media was feasible or appropriate to be presented to the construction workers. The average rates of OSH knowledge among the workers were 11.20 for the pre-test and 13.8 for the post-test, respectively. The Wilcoxon Sign Rank test resulted in the p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), meaning that there was a difference in the average rate of OSH knowledge between the conditions of before and after the provision of audiovisual media to the construction workers of PT Sasmito at the construction project of FMIPA building at UGM. Conclusion: Audiovisual media is feasible to be presented and there is a difference in average rate of the workers’ knowledge on the PPE application between the conditions before and after the intervention. Companies are expected to use audiovisual media as a means to promote OSH.

Abstract

Background: Fatigue is a condition in which the body physically and mentally shows differences that can result in decreased performance and lower body resistance to work activities. This fatigue condition can result in a decrease in work productivity and an increased risk of accidents. Some of the factors that cause work fatigue are age, working period and hot work climate. The existence of this study aims to determine the relationship between fatigue and age, working period and hot work climate in tofu factory workers in Mejing Village, Candimulyo District, Magelang. Method: this study is a quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach. A total of 31 respondents from tofu factory workers in Mejing Village, Candimulyo District, Magelang became research samples obtained by total sampling technique. Instruments used: Respondent data sheets, fatigue measurement table results and hot work climate measurement results. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate chi-square tests Result: The results showed that there was a gap between age and work fatigue (p-value 0.001), working period (p-value 0.006), and hot work climate (p-value 0.001) with the risk of work fatigue in tofu factory workers in Mejing Village, Candimulyo District, Magelang. Conclusion: there is a relationship between age, working period and hot work climate with work fatigue in tofu factory workers in Mejing Village, Candimulyo District, Magelang.

Abstract

Burnout is a condition that is often faced by workers due to several factors. The purpose of this study was to provide education about burnout in cleaning services at Campus IV of Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta. The method in this study is observation by conducting a pretest post test and providing counseling material with a lecture method on burnout and using poster media as a promotional tool followed by discussion and question and answer. The material provided is related to how to overcome burnout at work, the population in this study is cleaning service at Campus IV Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta with a sample of 10 cleaning service people. The results of the study found that there were workers who experienced increased knowledge or understanding of how to overcome burnout at work. However, there are some employees or workers whose scores decreased after taking the post test.

Abstract

Bus Trans tidak hanya berdampak positif bagi masyarakat tetapi memiliki dampak negatif. Adanya pengemudi yang ugal-ugalan saat bekendara, berbelok dengan tajam, bus menguasai jalan dan sebagainya, hal tersebut menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman bagi pengguna jalan umum dan dapat menimbulkan kecelakan lalu lintas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor – faktor apa yang mempengaruhi perilaku aman berkendara pengemudi bus trans. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pengemudi bus trans, penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan jumlah 55 sampel. Penentuan sampel dengan metode sampel random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara masa kerja (nilai p = 0,769), dukungan keluarga (nilai p = 0,42), dan kondisi kendaraan (0,564) dengan perilaku aman berkendara. Hanya faktor pengetahuan yang memiliki hubungan bermakna dengan perilaku aman berkendara (nilai p = 0,011). Rekomendasi penelitian ini, diharapkan bagi perusahaan untuk tetap meningkatkan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi, serta meningkatkan pengawasan berkala terhadap pengemudi. Pengemudi diharapkan selalu mematuhi tata tertib lalu lintas dan SOP yang sudah diberlakukan di perusahaan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Dalam suatu lingkungan kerja, tenaga kerja akan menghadapi tekanan lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja utama yaitu tugas dalam melaksanaan pekerjaan sesuai dengan bagiannya dan terdapat pula faktor yang menyebabkan beban tambahan sehingga dapat menimbulkan gangguan bagi tenaga kerja. Faktor tersebut antara lain faktor fisik, faktor kimia, faktor biologis, faktor fisiologis, dan faktor mental psikologi. Tekanan panas merupakan salah satu faktor fisik yang dalam keadaan tertentu dapat menimbulkan gangguan. Gangguan akibat paparan panas antara lain adanya Heat stroke, Heat exhaustion, Heat Rush, Heat Cramps, Heat syncope, Heat Hyperventilation, Prickly Heat, miliria. Metode : Jenis Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Observasional analitik, dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 60 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan mengunakan simple random sampling dengan instrumen penelitian lembar observasi. Pengukuran lingkungan kerja panas dengan menggunakan Questtemp Heat Stress Monitor. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Chi-Square didapatkan hasil p-value 0,030, dan (CI 95% 1,008 – 3,275) artinya ada hubungan antara lingkungan kerja panas dengan keluhan Heat Related Illness (Heat Cramps, Heat Exhaustion, Dehidrasi) Kesimpulan : ada hubungan antara lingkungan kerja panas dengan keluhan Heat Related Illness (Heat Cramps, Heat Exhaustion, Dehidrasi). Kata Kunci : Lingkungan Kerja Panas, keluhan Heat Related Illnes, Pekerja Relationship Between Hot Work Environment With Complaints of Heat Related Illnes (Heat Cramps, Heat Exhaustion, Dehydration) in Tofu Home Industry Workers in Janten Hamlet, Ngestiharjo Village, Kasihan, Bantul Background : In a work environment, the workforce will face the pressure of the work environment and the main workload, namely the task of carrying out work in accordance with its part and there are also factors that cause additional burdens so that it can cause interference to the workforce. These factors include physical factors, chemical factors, biological factors, physiological factors, and mental psychology factors. Heat pressure is one physical factor that can cause interference in certain circumstances. These disorders include complaints such as heat exposure such as Heat stroke, Heat exhaustion, Heat Rush, Heat Cramps, Heat syncope, Hyperventilation Heat, Prickly Heat, Miliria. Method : This type of quantitative research uses analytic observational methods, using a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 60 respondents. The sampling technique using simple random sampling with the observation instrument observation sheet. Measurement of hot working environment by using Quest Heat Stress Monitor. Data analysis using the Chi-Square test. Result : Based on the results of the Chi-Square test results obtained p-value 0.030, and (CI 95% 1.008 - 3.275) means that there is a relationship between the hot work environment with complaints of Heat Related Illness (Heat Cramps, Exhaustion Heat, Dehydration). Conclusion : there is a relationship between the hot work environment with complaints of Heat Related Illness (Heat Cramps, Exhaustion Heat, Dehydration).
