Abstract

This article focuses on the crucial role and urgency of Islamic religious education based on the connectivism paradigm in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era. This research uses a literature study or content analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the industrial revolution, characterized by the rapid development of digital technology and automation, requires a new approach to education, including Islamic religious education. Within the connectivism paradigm, Islamic religious education must effectively integrate information and communication technology (ICT) into the learning process. This article will discuss the characteristics and solutions of Islamic religious education based on the connectivism paradigm in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era.

Abstract

Objective: This study explores the reinvention of the Limpapeh House Tower motif in contemporary textile design, focusing on the integration of traditional Minangkabau elements with modern symbolism that reflects current social dynamics. Method: The design process involves a comprehensive understanding of the philosophical meaning of the Limpapeh motif, followed by the introduction of abstract patterns representing the disruption of traditional values in the face of modern challenges. The study also examines the use of contrasting colors and asymmetrical compositions to visually symbolize the tension between tradition and modernity. Results: The reinvention of the Limpapeh motif into a contemporary textile design produces works that are not only visually striking but also culturally significant. The contrast between the traditional symbolism of balance and stability and the abstract elements reflecting social disruption highlights the evolving cultural and social landscape of Minangkabau society. This process creates a space for reflection on the preservation of cultural values amid modern change. Novelty: This research contributes to the preservation of Minangkabau culture by presenting the Limpapeh motif in a dynamic, modern form. It also serves as a tribute to the symbolic power of the Limpapeh as a cultural pillar, while opening new avenues for interpretation and exploration in contemporary design.

Abstract

Objective: This research is motivated by efforts to achieve learning outcomes for students who face various learning challenges, such as the need to improve creativity in solving problems during the learning process. These challenges include a lack of references and inadequate learning resources, which impact students' ability to develop problem-solving thinking, and so far, students still rely on the material explained by the lecturer at the beginning of the course meeting, without any learning resources or teaching materials as a guide in implementing the practice. Method: This type of research is development research or known as Research and Development (R & D), and this research approach uses the ADDIE approach which consists of five research stages, namely: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate, while validation was carried out by three expert validators, each on the aspects of material, design and language, and each validator was asked to fill out the assessment instrument using a Likert scale of 1–5 against a number of indicators that had been prepared. Result: The recapitulation results showed that the material validator gave a score of 41 out of a total maximum score of 45 with a percentage of (91.11%), the design validator gave a score of 44 out of a total maximum score of 50 with a percentage of (88%) and the language validator gave a score of 46 out of a total maximum score of 50 with a percentage of (92%), and the results of the practicality data analysis of the learning module were at a practicality level of 88.56% with an interpretation category that was very practical to use in the learning process. Novelty: These findings indicate that the developed module not only meets expert validation criteria but also achieves a very practical level for implementation, which highlights the novelty of providing effective and validated teaching materials that address the lack of references and inadequate resources in student learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mencegah fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pada siswa di SMA Kartika I-2 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Islam berperan penting dalam mencegah FoMO melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti Qana’ah (merasa cukup), syukur (bersyukur atas nikmat Allah), tawakal (berserah diri kepada Allah). Tazkiyatun Nafs (Penyucian Jiwa) dan Ukhuwah (Persaudaraan dan Interaksi Sosial yang Sehat).  penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa dukungan sumber informasi dalam mengahadapi fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) khususnya pada siswa. Rekomendasi penelitian lanjutan mengenai dampak yang di timbulkan akibat keterlambatan pencegahan fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO).
