Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan dan peningkatan keterampilan menulis deskripsi melalui media lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian di SDN Bacem 03 Sutojayan Blitar menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dengan rata-rata persentase aktivitas guru 97% dan aktivitas siswa 94%. Hasil menulis siswa meningkat mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 100%.

Abstract

The modernization in education demands a renewal of the learning process. There needs to be an effort to create interactive and fun IT-based learning. Then, the fourth grade students are proficient and excited to operate computers, but the teacher has not fully integrated computers into the mathematics learning process. So, it is necessary to have computer-based learning media with a real context of local local wisdom. The objectives of this study are (1) to produce valid and interesting IT-based learning media (2) to create contextual mathematics learning that is integrated with local wisdom. This is development research which carried out using the ADDIE (Analyze-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) model. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students. The techniques used to collect data were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. CAI media is made with adobeflash which contains material, practice questions, evaluation, and two interesting games. Based on the results of the media expert's assessment, CAI media was considered feasible with a percentage of 83.9%, while from the material expert's assessment, it was obtained 90.6% in the very feasible category. It can be concluded that the developed CAI media can be applied in the learning process. The implication of this research is that the existence of this learning media can help students understand the subject matter and realize IT-based learning.

Abstract

Science subject in elementary school is a subject that invites students to reason about the surrounding natural conditions. The findings of the researchers indicate that there is a shortage of science learning facilities at several elementary schools in Blitar. As much as 84% of students in the observation stated that science lessons were difficult to understand. In addition, teachers and students who were interviewed stated that e-book teaching materials were interesting as science teaching materials, especially in materials on adaptation of living things to grade V SD. Therefore, researchers proposed Bosiva as a solution for developing new teaching materials in natural science material for adaptation of living things in digital form. This research is based on modified R&D which includes potential and problem formulation, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. Researchers developed Bosiva to find results for material expert validation of 86%, language validation of 93%, and media validation of 95% which all stated very feasible. In addition, the results of the teacher's readability test were 95% and the student's readability test was 97% which were also classified as very feasible. So, it can be concluded that Bosiva is a breakthrough in the development of android-based teaching materials to support learning adaptation of living things.

Abstract

The results of observations and interviews revealed that the use of learning media is still lacking, with most teachers only relying on the lecture method. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of VISIKO (Ecosystem Animation Video) teaching media in teaching ecosystem material to grade V students. This type of research follows the RnD method developed by Sugiyono, with limitations up to the seventh stage, namely product revision. The feasibility assessment of learning media is carried out by a number of experts, including material experts, media experts, and linguists. In addition, the readability score of VISIKO teaching media was tested by involving 10 representative students from grade 5 at SDN Sumberjo 01, as well as 5 teachers from SDN Sumberjo 01, SDN Bajang 01, and SD Alam Al Ghifari Blitar. The results showed that VISIKO (Video Animation Ecosystem) teaching media products received high feasibility scores from various validators, namely material experts by 87.6%, media experts by 98.8%, and linguists by 91.4%. With an average eligibility percentage of 92.6%, this product can be considered very viable. Limited trials involving teachers also resulted in a readability rate of 92.8%, while students gave a readability score of 97.7%. Based on teacher and student assessments, this product is considered very good and very easy to understand, making it suitable for use in learning ecosystem materials for grade 5 students.

Abstract

Mathematics is often perceived by students as a challenging subject due to its complicated calculations, resulting in a lack of interest. Despite the expectation that teachers should implement active learning methods, many still rely on traditional lecturing methods, leading to passivity in students. An analysis by the teacher showed that only 45% of students had completed their studies. To address this, a diverse learning approach is required, such as the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The study aims to evaluate how the TGT learning model can improve grade V students' learning outcomes and attitudes towards mathematics. This study used qualitative and quantitative research techniques to measure student attitudes and learning outcomes, respectively. Classroom Action Research (CAR) techniques were employed by implementing two cycles with pre-tests and post-tests. In the first cycle, student completeness was 33% in the pre-test, while in the post-test, it increased to 73%. In the second cycle, the pre-test recorded 79% completeness, which increased to 85% in the post-test. The application of the TGT cooperative learning model improved student learning outcomes in each cycle, as evidenced by the increase in student completeness. These results support the effectiveness of the TGT model in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Adanya permasalahan dalam kesulitan belajar matematika pada materi pembagian serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran sesuai kondisi saat ini yaitu pembelajaran online atau daring, sehingga siswa kesulitan memahami materi pembagian. Penelitian dan pengembangan bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran aplikasi pembagian (APEM). (2) Mengetahui keterbacaan media pembelajaran aplikasi pembagian (APEM). Penelitian yang digunakan termasuk jenis desain Research and Development (R&D).  Menurut Sugiyono (2017:407), model penelitian dan pengembangan terdiri  a) Potensi masalah, b) Pengumpulan data, c) Desain produk, d) Validasi desain, e) Revisi desain, f) Uji coba produk, g) Revisi produk. Jumlah populasi penelitian adalah 16 peseta didik yang berasal dari kelas III dan 9 pendidik di UPT SDN Kalimanis 02. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mengunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi dari 3 validator ahli materi mencapai 87.5% dengan kategori “Layak”. Hasil validasi dari 3 validator ahli media mencapai 85% dengan kategori “Layak”. Hasil validasi dari 3 validator ahli bahasa mencapai 93.33% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan angket keterbacaan media mendapat nilai 234 dari total maksimal nilai 250 sehingga mencapai persentase 93.6% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sehingga dapat disampaikan media aplikasi pembagian (APEM) dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media penyampaian materi yang lebih menarik peserta didik untuk fokus dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Literacy activities at the primary school level aim to develop students' interest in reading and reading habits. These activities involve aspects of listening, reading and a variety of types of reading materials. However, their implementation requires a structured program and effective supervision. Preliminary research shows that the main challenges in the current School Literacy Movement are supervision and habituation constraints that are difficult for teachers to observe, as well as limited access to reading resources due to distance learning. This community service aims to make a positive contribution by applying Si Cetar Media (Blitar Story Literacy Application) as a supporting tool for literacy activities in primary schools. The implementation approach involved preparation, workshop and evaluation stages. Initial observations and determining instruments were conducted in the preparation. The workshop involved the school principal and involved the use of Si Cetar Media. The evaluation of the literacy program with Media Si Cetar was conducted in the final stage. Si Cetar Media is expected to have a positive impact on teachers, students and schools. The various titles and storylines accompanied by interesting pictures can motivate students, while easy access through laptop or mobile devices enables independent learning. The use of this media also makes it easier for teachers to manage literacy programs and assess student progress. Furthermore, Media Si Cetar complements the school's collection of reading resources, allowing students to learn through a broader digital platform than traditional libraries. The expected outcomes are teachers' positive response to the Community Service Program (PKM) as well as the effective dissemination of Media Si Cetar.

Abstract

Hasil observasi pembelajaran IPA di SDI Aisyiyah Jatinom mengindikasikan bahwa pendidik belum memanfaatkan media berbasis teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Selama dua pertemuan, pendidik mengandalkan media non-digital seperti gambar sebagai alat bantu mengajar dan dominan menggunakan metode ceramah. Akibatnya, respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran kurang antusias dan partisipasi aktif minim. Siswa tampak tidak minat dan tidak fokus terhadap materi yang pendidik sampaikan, terlihat dari beberapa siswa yang tertidur di kelas, membuat kegaduhan, dan berbicara di luar konteks pelajaran. Kondisi ini berdampak negatif terhadap minat belajar siswa dan menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar . Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SDI Aisyiyah Jatinom, pengaplikasian model pembelajaran berbantuan media yang tepat sangat penting. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat diterapkan ialah memanfaatkan media digital seperti Bosiva dan mengkombinasikannya dengan model pembelajaran PBL dalam mata pelajaran IPAS untuk kelas V. Model PBL dipilih karena dapat membantu siswa dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan memecahkan sebuah masalah. Ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran menggunakan media digital seperti Bosiva dengan model pembelajaran pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDI Aisyiyah Jatinom. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa Penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dengan bantuan media Bosiva pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SDI Aisyiyah Jatinom menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis, memecahkan sebuah masalah, komunikasi, dan kerjasama merupakan kompetensi penting yang perlu dikembangkan pada siswa. Penggunaan media digital seperti video, gambar, dan simulasi terbukti signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang sedang dipelajari. Dari hasil tes, rata-rata nilai yang dicapai siswa adalah 81,22, menunjukkan peningkatan pencapaian yang positif.

Abstract

Cerita fiksi kontemporer merupakan sastra anak yang menjadi bagian penting dalam proses pendewasaan anak. Cerita fiksi kontemporer menyajikan cerita dengan latar cerita berupa kehidupan yang dialami siswa secara realistis. Melalui fiksi kontemporer siswa dapat mengetahui wawasan, teladan, dan nilai-nilai dalam kehidupan. Sastra anak jenis ini memiliki berbagai unsur yang menyokong kelengkapan cerita sehingga memberikan dampak nyata bagi kehidupan anak. Unsur dalam cerita fiksi kontemporer meliputi unsur pembangun dari dalam dan luar cerita. Unsur dari dalam (intrinsik) meliputi tema, tokoh, alur, latar, dan amanat, sedangkan unsur luar cerita (ekstrinsik) adalah nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam cerita. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik dan nilai-nilai kehidupan dari cerita fiksi kontemporer karya mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Islam Balitar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keberagaman bentuk unsur pembangun yang ada dalam karya fiksi kontemporer mahasiswa. Selain itu, nilai-nilai kehidupan yang nampak dari karya adalah nilai moral, sosial, dan religius.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila sering diabaikan oleh siswa karena minimnya partisipasi mereka dalam pembelajaran konvensional dan minimnya penggunaan media, yang membuat mereka kesulitan memahami materi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Tahapan desain penelitian meliputi: 1) identifikasi potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) uji coba produk, dan 7) evaluasi produk. Hasil penilaian dari tiga validator menunjukkan presentase yang tinggi: 1) 86,6% dari ahli materi, 2) 88,8% dari ahli media, dan 3) 91,8% dari ahli bahasa. Hasil uji keterbacaan siswa menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan sangat sesuai, dengan angket keterbacaan siswa mencapai 95,2% dan angket keterbacaan guru mencapai 92%. Sehingga, pembuatan media flip chart Elemen Pancasila Fase B diasumsikan selaras dan mampu dipakai secara efektif dalam kegiatan belajar.
