Abstract

The background of this research is the low interest of students in learning mathematics. Can using the PjBL model assisted by teaching aids increase students' interest in learning mathematics in class V SDN Kesambi Dalam 3? The purpose of this study was to find out the benefits of the visual aid-assisted Pjbl model in attracting student interest in learning to improve mathematics learning. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted at SDN Kesambi Dalam 3 with research subjects in class V with a total of 24 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation sheets which were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques and questionnaires were analyzed using a Likert scale scoring system. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded through the following matters: (1) In the first cycle, it was found that the student's learning interest reached 49,6 % which indicated that the student's interest category was not good (2) In the second cycle, it was found that the student's interest in learning students experienced an increase, namely 73.3% (3) Analysis of student interest in learning showed that the category of student interest in the learning process was good. Thus learning mathematics through the Pjbl model with props can increase students' interest in learning in class V SDN Kesambi Dalam 3 Cirebon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar matematika pada materi bangun datar dengan bantuan media konkret berbasis game edukasi yaitu media papeda (Papan Pengetahuan Bangun Datar) bagi peserta didik kelas III di SDN Sunyaragi 1 tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dan rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran Matematika. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dalam proses belajar mengajar guru belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan menggunakan model Kemmis and Mc. Targgart. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas III yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes. Instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan butir soal pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 10 soal. Teknik analisis daya yang peneliti laksanakan yaitu secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan rerata dan ketuntasan nilai hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Matematika pada materi bangun datar. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah peneliti laksanakan, diperoleh hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik pada pra-siklus dengan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 56,56 termasuk kedalam kategori cukup dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 40,63%. Pada tahapan siklus 1, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik 66,56 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 59,38%. Hasil ketuntasan belajar tersebut masih kurang memuaskan, sehingga perlu dilakukannya perbaikan. Peneliti melakukan refleksi dan lebih memanfaatkan media papeda dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada tahapan siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu 86,63 termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik dan persentase ketuntasan belajar 100%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media konkret berbasis game edukasi yaitu media papeda (Papan Pengetahuan Bangun datar) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata matematika pada materi bangun datar untuk peserta didik kelas III di SDN Sunyaragi 1 tahun pelajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

Learning strategies assist students in revealing their individual learning style, recognizing their identity as learners, and being conscious of their learning obstacles. The current study aimed to investigate the strategies in writing research background encountered by English Department students at one of Cirebon's institutions throughout the academic year 2021/2022. This study employed a qualitative technique with a case study design, with thirty students participating as respondents. The data was gathered via a questionnaire and an interview. There are two research instruments in this research, especially close-ended questionnaire and semi-structured interview.The instruments were also distributed in Bahasa Indonesia. According to the findings, students adopted strategies such as reviewing the references of journal articles. This causes students to use strategies to reduce these difficulties, including reading reference journals or articles. The score using this strategy is 95%. Furthermore, respondents indicated that they were requesting revisions from their supervisor.This is the experience of lecturers were better because they have done research many times. As a result, they were changing the sentence structure check.In addition, it creates sentences that are difficult to understand between sentences and paragraphs that are out of sync. There was a need for a revision of the review to produce a coherent reading and not confused the readers.It is suggested that the students choose the appropriate strategy, so that the strategy can be implemented properly.

Abstract

Nadiem Makarim founded the kampus mengajar program in 2021, which entails students from various study programs going straight to schools in 3T location. This study aimed to explore students experiences through kampus mengajar program in conducting teaching literacy and numeracy in the 2021/2022 academic year. Five students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon participated in this qualitative research study using a narrative inquiry design as its methodology. The narrative frame and interview findings were utilized as the source of the data in this study to examine how students experienced teaching literacy and numeracy while actively participating in the kampus mengajar program as well as the difficulties they encountered. The stages of this narrative research included identifying the phenomena to be studied, deciding participants who would allow researcher to study the phenomena, gathering information (experiences) from participants, retelling information (experiences) from participants, and writing narratives based on information (experiences) from participants. The results revealed that teachers at the target schools greatly benefited from the Kampus Mengajar program's implementation. Nevertheless, aside from that students faced the challenges in teaching literacy and numeracy. The lack of student motivation, the amount of students who still struggle with reading and counting, the lack of learning materials that assist literacy and numeracy, and the restricted use of technology by teachers are a few of the factors.

Abstract

Abstrak Perpustakaan sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca peserta didik. Namun, di SDN Sunyaragi 1 perpustakaan kurang dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena digunakan sebagai gudang selama renovasi gedung kelas. Kondisi ini menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca siswa terutama pada kelas rendah. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan program revitalisasi perpustakaan guna menciptakan lingkungan baca yang nyaman dan meningkatkan literasi membaca pada siswa kelas rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan. Selanjutnya, pada tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan penataan ulang perpustakaan, pengelompokan buku berdasarkan kategori, serta pelaksanaan program literasi. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengamati peningkatan jumlah pengunjung perpustakaan serta wawancara dengan siswa dan guru terkait minat baca mereka setelah revitalisasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam minat literasi membaca siswa kelas rendah setelah dilaksanakannya revitalisasi perpustakaan. Kata kunci: revitalisasi perpustakaan; literasi; minat baca siswa. Abstract The school library plays a crucial role in enhancing students' reading literacy. However, at SDN Sunyaragi 1, the library has not been optimally utilized, as it was repurposed as a storage room during classroom renovations. This condition has led to a decline in students' reading interest, particularly among lower-grade students. To address this issue, a library revitalization program was implemented to create a more conducive reading environment and improve reading literacy among young learners. The program followed three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the preparation stage, observations and interviews were conducted with school representatives to identify key issues. The implementation stage involved reorganizing the library, categorizing books, and conducting literacy activities. Finally, the evaluation stage assessed the program's impact by monitoring the increase in library visitors and conducting interviews with students and teachers regarding their reading interest after the revitalization. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' reading literacy interest following the implementation of the revitalization program. Keywords: library revitalization; literacy; students' reading interest

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan student centered learning melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning berbasis peta konsep guna meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SDN Sunyaragi 1 Kota Cirebon. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & McTaggart dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek 27 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi keterlibatan siswa, tes berpikir kritis, serta dokumentasi produk peta konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterlibatan siswa dari 50% (pra-tindakan) menjadi 90% (siklus II). Kemampuan berpikir kritis juga meningkat, ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 63 menjadi 87. Penerapan Project Based Learning berbasis peta konsep terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, serta mendukung implementasi pembelajaran berbasis student centered learning yang kontekstual dan bermakna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas teknik permainan merangkai kata dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, observasi kinerja guru, dan tes evaluasi pembelajaran. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi, serta disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik untuk mempermudah interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa dari 33% pada pra-siklus (5 dari 15 siswa), menjadi 60% pada siklus I (9 siswa), dan mencapai 93% pada siklus II (14 siswa). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa teknik permainan merangkai kata efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi awal serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how English language teachers use strategies in teaching writing skills and how to apply such strategies to class nine at SMPN 1 Sumber. This research uses a qualitative descriptive design. The population and sample in this study is English teachers at SMPN 1 Sumber. English teacher in this research has four meetings observed by the researcher. The instrument in this study uses classroom observations and questionnaires. The instrument is used to find out the strategies used and how English teachers apply strategies in teaching the report text. The results were analyzed and divided into three stages, including Data Reduction, Data Analysis, and Presentation Data. Based on observations conducted during four meetings, the results showed that teachers used several teacing and learning strategies in teaching the report text. The teaching and learning methods there are: Brainstorming, Developing Topic, Drafting and Revising. The learning strategies is Mind Mapping Strategy, PLEASE Strategy, Guided Writing Strategy, Creative Writing Strategy, and Collaborative Writing Strategy. This strategy can make it easier for teachers to motivate students to create report texts, facilitate teachers in the teaching and learning process, as well as the application of appropriate learning methods. Besides, the activities in reporting skills consist of opening activities, core activities, and closing activities.

Abstract

Digital Resources is supporting learning media that utilize technology in delivering material such as video, website, e-book, and slideshows. This research aims to investigates the implementation of digital resources as supporting learning media in teaching narrative writing text. This research used qualitative method by using descriptive qualitative design. The data was obtained through observation and interview. The subject of this research were two English teachers in Vocational High School Ibnu Khaldun at 10th Grade the academic years of 2022/2023 who implemented digital resources in teaching narrative writing text. The research findings of this research show that the English teachers have used digital resources very well, but it still needs to optimize the implementation of digital resources for the further learning
