Abstract

Indonesia has quite serious environmental problems, one of which is the waste problem, waste production in Indonesia is always increasing every day, both organic and inorganic waste. One of the organic waste recycling techniques is the bioconversion method. Organisms that play a role in the bioconversion process can be fungi or insect larvae. These BSF larvae are known as maggots or "maggots". Aras Kabu Village is one of the villages in the Beringin sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency. Population growth was 1.86% from 2015. The purpose of this research was to analyze the Prospects for Cultivating Maggot (Black Soldier Fly Larvae) to Build the Village Economy and Reduce Household Waste in Aras Kabu Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research was conducted in Aras kabu village from October to November 2022. This research was conducted using an experimental method. The experimental method used was to determine the amount of maggot that could be produced from household waste. The results of the experimental method for making maggot will be used to calculate the amount of maggot that can be produced in Aras Kabu Village if all the remaining household waste can be collected. The number of families in Aras Kabu Village is 186 families. The results showed that the calculation of the Revenue Cost Ratio per month in the mangosteen cultivation business in Aras Kabu Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency obtained a result of 10.42. This means that there are prospects for the mangosteen cultivation business in Aras Kabu Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, which is feasible to runKeywords: Village Economy, BSF Maggot, Household Waste

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan komposisi, dan teknik aplikasi Corynebacterium terbaik dalam mengendalikan penyakit layu fusarium serta dapat meningkatkan hasil tanaman cabai merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pematang Pelintahan Kecamatan Sei Rampah Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, dengan ketinggian tempat ± 7-13 meter di atas permukaan laut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2020 sampai Agustus 2020. Rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial yaitu Faktor Pemberian Corynebacterium terdiri dari 4 taraf : C0 = 0 ml/l air, C1 = 5 ml/l air, C2 = 7,5 ml/l air, C3 = 10 ml/l air. Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah persentase daya hambat, persentase penyakit layu fusarium dan persentase penyakit antraknosa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian Corynebacterium berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase daya hambat layu fusarium, persentase penyakit layu fusarium, persentase penyakit antraknosa. Perlakuan pemberian Corynebacterium terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan 10 ml/l air.

Abstract

Efforts to increase the growth of white mustard plants can be done by providing Kasgot Fertilizer and POC Eco enzyme treatment. If you look at the correct dose, type, time and method of fertilization, the plant's response to fertilization will increase growth and yield. This research was carried out with the aim of determining the effect of plants on the concentration of Kasgot and POC Eco enzyme in white mustard plants. This research was repeated three times using a two-way randomized block design (RAK). The cassava concentration factor (K) has 4 levels, K0 (control), K1 (2 kg/plot), K2 (3 kg/plot), K3 (4 kg/plot). POC Eco enzyme factor (C) consists of 3 levels, namely E0 (control), E1 (20 ml/L), E2 (35 ml/L). Observation parameters include plant height, stem diameter, leaf width for each sample plant. Application of Kasgot Fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height and stem diameter of white mustard plants (3 kg/plot). The administration of POC Eco enzyme had no significant effect on all parameters observed. The interaction of providing Kasgot Fertilizer and POC Eco enzyme had no significant effect on all the treatments observed.
