Abstract

This paper reveals the phenomenon that occurred in Muhammadiyah Gresik Kota Baru which, where there is a close relationship between Muhammadiyah and the middle class as the backbone of its movement. It is suspected that an accelerating move occurred in a relatively short time, Muhammadiyah Gresik Kota Baru increased rapid progress. One of the dynamics of Indonesian society that is considered important to be observed is the existence of a slow but sure shift to the sociological conditions and the religiosity of the community. Then created a group of people who came to be called the middle class. This middle class is knowledgeable, highly educated, well-established and open-minded. The next stage, they are determined as: Urban society. Since its inception, Muhammadiyah as a religiously based community organization has ties for the whole community. Muhammadiyah always undertakes multi-step revitalization of its dakwah. These efforts have so far been carried out regularly and regularly and touches almost all layers of society as objects (and subjects) of their missionary movements. This group of people is no exception: Urban society.

Abstract

Background: Inclusive education ensures equitable access for students with special needs, yet implementation in Indonesia faces challenges like limited resources, insufficient teacher training, and societal stigma. Knowledge Gap: While studies examine teacher attitudes and institutional challenges, the role of government policy remains underexplored. Aim: To analyze the implementation of government policies on inclusive education. Results: Qualitative analysis revealed gaps in training and funding, contrasting with successful policy instruments supporting inclusion. Novelty: This study identifies disparities between policy frameworks and their practical application. Implications: Collaborative efforts among stakeholders and enhanced cultural support are crucial for effective policy implementation and better educational outcomes. Highlights: Policy Implementation: Gaps exist between inclusive education policies and their practical application, particularly in teacher training and funding. Community Perspectives: Societal stigma toward students with special needs remains a critical barrier to inclusivity. Abstract

The time and place setting of the novel is Muhammadiyah School in Gantung sub-district on the island of Belitung that has implemented inclusive education in the 1980s, despite the absence of an Inclusive Education Law at the time. This research aims to analyze the portrayal of intellectual disability in the novel Laskar Pelangi, because the theme of intellectual disability of the character in the novel has not been found. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the study conducts interpretive event analysis, supported by data analysis using theories of educational psychology and social psychology. Eight internal conditions associated with the intellectual disability of the character Harun are identified: 1. Exhibits a humorous demeanor while experiencing intellectual impairment. 2. Belongs to an economically disadvantaged community. 3. Sits quietly and smiles continuously during lessons. 4. Repeats the same questions daily. 5. Recounts identical stories every day. 6. Advances to higher grades despite lacking formal academic records. 7. Maintains a consistent smile during interactions. 8. Displays childlike thinking despite physical maturity. Harun’s cognitive deficits are significant, with an inferred IQ score below 70. The success of special needs education cannot be equated with the academic achievements of typically developing students. Inclusive education’s efficacy hinges on governmental policy support, university collaboration, and familial financial capacity.

Abstract

In the era of rapid digital transformation and global technological disruption, the contemporary Indonesian literature landscape is at a crossroads between innovation and preservation of cultural identity. This study investigates the impact of generative artificial intelligence (AI) on literary creativity, focusing on three core phenomena: the degradation of originality, an ethical literacy crisis, and the fragmentation of literary discourse. Utilizing a qualitative systematic literature review, the research analyzes digital literary corpora, educational policies, and public media discussions to explore how AI-generated content challenges traditional authorship and the intrinsic values of literature. Findings indicate that while AI technologies facilitate efficient production of texts, they often reproduce conventional patterns and diminish the unique human touch in creative works. Furthermore, the reliance on AI blurs the boundary between human and machine contribution, raising ethical concerns over accountability and the erosion of critical literacy skills. The study advocates for a hybrid model that integrates technological advancements with human creativity, proposing reforms in educational curricula and policy frameworks to safeguard ethical literary practices. The research provides a comprehensive insight into the transformative effects of AI in literature, emphasizing the need to balance innovation with the preservation of cultural and artistic authenticity in the digital age.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology necessitates a transformative approach to literary education that extends beyond verbal literacy to embrace multimodal competencies (visual, auditory, interactive). This study aims to analyze the potential of digital literary texts as a medium for enhancing multimodal literacy amidst the challenges of the disruptive era, while identifying the enabling and constraining factors in its implementation within Indonesian educational contexts. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through case studies of literature instruction in three urban-based senior high schools, participatory observation of digital platforms (interactive e-books, literary webtoons, and short-story podcasts), and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The analysis utilized Kress & van Leeuwen’s multimodal literacy theory and Paul Gilster’s digital pedagogy framework. Findings reveal that integrating multimodal elements—such as animated illustrations in poetry, hyperlinks in interactive narratives, and dramatic audio effects—significantly enhances students’ critical deconstruction of textual meanings and fosters learning motivation. However, disparities in digital infrastructure access and teachers’ limited technological proficiency emerge as primary barriers. The study recommends training programs for teachers in designing digital literature lessons using accessible tools (e.g., Canva, Book Creator) and fostering school-community partnerships with digital literacy initiatives. This research contributes to developing disruption-responsive literacy strategies and enriches Indonesian literary heritage through digital adaptation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang efektivitas penerapan media kartu alfabet terhadap keterampilan baca-tulis siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas 1 di SDN Sepande Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk dapat memahami proses pembelajaran dan respon siswa pada setiap tahap pembelajaran melalui media kartu alfabet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media kartu alfabet terhadap keterampilan baca-tulis siswa memiliki dampak yang positif diantaranya, dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah mengenal huruf, mengeja kata, menyusun kata dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan baca-tulisnya. Namun, penelitian ini juga menjelaskan beberapa kendala selama proses pembelajaran seperti, keterbatasan waktu, dan adanya beberapa siswa yang masih belum bisa membedakan antara huruf vokal dengan huruf konsonan.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat profil Pelajar Pancasila pada siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar melalui pendekatan Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis media ular tangga digital. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada tema “Aku Cinta Pancasila” yang dirancang untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila sejak dini secara kreatif dan interaktif. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan melibatkan siswa kelas 1 SDN Sidokare 1. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan PjBL berbasis media ular tangga digital dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila, seperti gotong royong, cinta tanah air, dan toleransi. Aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek mendorong siswa untuk berkolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan menyelesaikan tugas dengan kreatif melalui media digital yang menarik. Selain itu, penggunaan media ular tangga digital memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan relevan dengan kebutuhan anak-anak generasi digital. Kesimpulan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan PjBL berbasis media ular tangga digital merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk memperkuat profil Pelajar Pancasila pada siswa kelas 1 SD. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan media pembelajaran digital lainnya untuk mendukung penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan dasar. Abstract

Di era digital, integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi kebutuhan esensial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas literasi digital dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar, dengan fokus pada kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, yang dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol, melibatkan satu orang guru kelas 5 sebagai informan utama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumen pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman, yakni melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diperkuat melalui teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki kompetensi literasi digital yang cukup baik, tercermin dari penggunaan media digital seperti video edukatif, aplikasi interaktif, dan sumber belajar daring. Penggunaan media digital terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman peserta didik, serta menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penerapan literasi digital masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan perangkat, kesenjangan akses teknologi, serta variasi partisipasi peserta didik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan penyediaan sarana yang memadai guna mengoptimalkan literasi digital dalam proses belajar-mengajar di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Urgensi peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar menuntut inovasi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran yang mampu menarik perhatian dan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Salah satu media yang relevan dan potensial adalah media audiovisual, yang menggabungkan unsur visual dan audio secara simultan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi peran media audiovisual dalam membantu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi Bahasa Indonesia di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek utama penelitian adalah satu orang guru kelas 5 yang dipilih secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipasif, dan dokumentasi perangkat pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi pedoman wawancara terstruktur, lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran, serta format analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif model interaktif, yang mencakup tahap reduksi data, penyadian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual seperti video pembelajaran dan presentasi visual mampu meningkatkan ketertarikan, konsentrasi, dan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi pembelajaran. Guru memegang peran penting dalam merancang dan menerapkan media tersebut secara tepat. Adapun tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas penunjang serta keterampilan teknis guru dalam pengoperasian media. Secara keseluruhan, media audiovisual dinilai efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The ability to read in understanding is the key to success for students in the learning process. Learners gain some knowledge through reading activities meaning that reading comprehension skills can be trained in all subjects at school. Reading comprehension has three stages that can be applied to the learning process towards the goal of reading comprehension, namely the reading stage, the reading stage and the post-reading stage. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the role of reading comprehension in improving the performance of third grade elementary school students in Indonesian language subjects and the research method is a qualitative approach that uses a case study model observation and in-depth interviews have now been used as data collection techniques, as well as documentation, data analysis techniques include preparing cross-case analysis and drawing conclusions.
