Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kota Makassar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode konvensional berbantuan media gambar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, (2) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode konvensional berbantuan media gambar terhadap kemampuan berbicara pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang sifatnya Quasi Eksperiment. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kota Makassar. Sampel berjumlah 50 orang, yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen SD Labunag Baji 25 orang dan SD Sangir 25 orang. Hal ini diperoleh melalui total purposve sampling. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis statistik deskriptif penggunaan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar berbicara siswa kelas IV hasilnya berpengaruh. Hal ini bisa dilihat siswa lebih semangat belajar, berani tampil di depan dan mudah mengungkapkan cerita sesuai gambar yang ditampilkan dengan menggunakan bahasa sendiri. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kota Makassar. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, media gambar dan keterampilan berbicara

Abstract

The use of LMS in the learning process of PPG Pre-service students has not yet been widely researched. This research aims to analyze and explain the responses of Pre-Service PPG students at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar towards the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) in the learning process. This research is categorized into qualitative descriptive research. A total of 42 Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students participated in this research. Data was collected through questionnaires and unstructured interviews, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that student responses come from four categories, namely experience using LMS, benefits and advantages of LMS, challenges faced, and understanding of the material. The majority of students stated that the LMS made a significant contribution to understanding the learning material, most of them rated the LMS as a tool that was “very helpful” or “helpful” in the learning process. This research also shows that the main challenges faced are related to accessibility, especially in terms of networks and limited internet access. The implications of these findings include the need to improve technology infrastructure, increase support, and train students and lecturers in using the LMS. Apart from that, the integration of technology in the higher education curriculum is also an important aspect that needs to be considered.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the vocabulary used in online shop  activities on Instagram social media  and examine its contribution to Indonesian language learning. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, data is collected from uploads and product descriptions on several  popular online shop accounts  . The results of the analysis show that the vocabulary used reflects a mixture of non-standard Indonesian, foreign absorption (especially English), abbreviations, and popular terms (slang) that are developing in online communities.  The collection of data is sourced from 5 (five) Online Shops, namely @omorfoo_shop, @bunoshopp28, @sental.kaos, @akavi.id, and @citracosmetic_id. The contribution to Indonesian learning lies in the potential use of authentic context from social media as teaching materials, especially in learning language diversity, vocabulary development, and language attitudes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki bentuk-bentuk sarkasme yang muncul dalam kolom komentar TikTok. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis cara pengguna TikTok memanfaatkan bahasa, emotikon, dan konteks sosial untuk menyampaikan pesan sarkastik. Data dikumpulkan dari komentar-komentar pada berbagai video TikTok yang menunjukkan penggunaan sarkasme, dan kemudian dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis sarkasme yang muncul. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa sarkasme di kolom komentar TikTok bervariasi dalam bentuk dan penggunaan, yang mencerminkan dinamika komunikasi digital di platform tersebut. Penemuan ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang bagaimana kolom komentar TikTok berfungsi sebagai media ekspresi sarkastik, serta dampaknya terhadap interaksi sosial dan pemahaman konten di media sosial. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pemahaman mengenai komunikasi digital dan penggunaan sarkasme dalam konteks media sosial saat ini, serta berkontribusi pada pengembangan kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran bahasa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Mandar tentang sapaan Puang dan Daeng dan hubungan keakraban sapaan antara Puang dan Daeng. Jenis penelitian yang ini digunakan metode pelitian deskriptif kualitatif suatu metode yang berusaha menggambarkan situasi atau gejala yang terjadi dalam keadaan nyata. Hasil penelitian bahwa persepsi masyarakat mandar tentang sapaan Puang dan Daeng yaitu sapaan Puang diberikan kepada Keturunan pemangku hadat yang membantu raja dalam menjalankan roda  pemerintahan pada masa kerajaan itulah yang dapat disapa Puang sedangkan sapaan Daeng yaitu orang yang dilantik menjadi Mara’dia (raja). Hubungan keakraban sapaan Puang dan Daeng yaitu hubungannya mulai renggang karena adanya perputaran roda pemerintahan dan menjadi faktor penyebab keakraban itu tidak harmonis dan tidak sejalan lagi karna adanya lapisan sosial yaitu ukuran kekayaan, kekuasaan dan wewenang, kehormatan dan ilmu pengetahuan tetapi masyarakat tetap menghormati kehadiran Puang dan daeng karna pernah terlibat langsung dalam pemerintahan pada masa kerajaan meski ukuran kekayaan, kekuasaan da wewenang, kehormatan, dan ilmu pengetahuan yang menjadi tolak ukur keakraban tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use, design and results of office sway-based media development in class X Indonesian teaching materials that are valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development. Media research and development procedures use the Borg & Gall development model, namely: surveys and data collection, planning, development of product drafts, expert validation tests, design revisions and product trials. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar with Class X research objects totaling 24 students and 1 Indonesian teacher. Research data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, product validation to experts, student and teacher response questionnaires, as well as post-test and pre-test scores. The results of the data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study show that the developed media is classified as feasible, as can be seen from the validation of material experts with an average percentage of 78.33% and the validation of media experts with an average percentage of 86%. The Indonesian teacher's response stated that the media was good with an average percentage of 82.10% and the student response questionnaire met practical criteria, the completeness score of student learning outcomes was more than 7.5%, which was 8.45%. Based on this, comparison and analysis can be interpreted that the learning product developed in the form of an E-book based on the Office Sway application in the teaching materials of this module can be declared valid and practical to use as an Indonesian language learning medium.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of reference as markers of propositional relations in essays written by junior high school students. This study employed a qualitative method in data collection and data analysis. The population and research samples were 94 eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 1 in Balikpapan, Indonesia, ranging in age from 13 to 14. Data collection in this research was carried out using the listening method after the essay as a source of research data obtained from the research sample.The data analysis in this study consisted of three stages that were completed interactively: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study suggest that participants utilized three distinct kinds of reference to denote propositional relations in their essays: third-person pronoun, non-person pronoun, and demonstrative pronoun. The third person pronoun was found to be widely used but did not vary significantly among participants. Meanwhile, participants’ usage of non-person pronouns resulted in numerous interpretations, and it was discovered that derived demonstrative pronouns were overused. These findings demonstrate the participants’ strengths and shortcomings in using reference to connect one proposition to another.
