Abstract

This paper break down the process of Islamization in South Sulawesi and propaganda methods adopted in the process. By using an approach based on historical analysis, this paper concludes that, the process of Islamization in South Sulawesi through several stages, the arrival of Muslim traders as bearers of Islam in the 16th century, after the advent of Islam King of Gowa-Tallo in the 17th century, shipping army for kings to develop Islamic Bugis although initially rejected by the Bugis, continues with the arrival of Datuk Bandang ri, ri Tiro Datuk, Datuk Pattimang broadcast and Islam. Adopted the method of preaching Islam is spreading the teachings of Islam to synchronize between pangadereng so that the process of Islamization in South Sulawesi take place quickly.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effect of quality costs on sales growth and profitability in regionaldrinking water companies (PDAMs). This study uses a quantitative approach. The population inthis study is quality costs in 391 PDAMs throughout Indonesia with a sample of 325 PDAMs. Thedata used is annual data from the realization of quality costs, sales growth rates, and profitmargins for three years, namely from 2015 to 2017. The results of this study indicate that qualitycosts have a significant positive effect on PDAM sales growth, with the percentage of influenceequal to 66.7%, while the remaining 33.3% is influenced by other factors not observed in this studyand quality costs have a significant positive effect on PDAM profitability, with a percentage effectof 59.5%, while the remaining 40.5% is influenced by other factors not observed in this study.

Abstract

This research develops a broad conceptual framework of shadow economy transactions in Indonesia based on the previous research and finds the correlation with the current tax regulation on automatic exchange of information and tax compliance. Shadow economy is the activity of individuals, households, and/or firms that evade, avoid, or not report its transaction to the government. Based on the previous research, by using monetary approach, the average size of shadow economy in Indonesia equals to 8 – 19% of GDP. Based on this data, the government uses automatic exchange of information (AEOI) to minimize the effect of shadow economy to increase tax revenue and to boost tax compliance.

Abstract

This research was conducted on State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the relationship between interactive performance measurement systems, participatory budgeting and managerial performance, as well as how the role of job challenges on other variables. By using primary data. Purposive sampling is used to determine the sample. The sample used in this study was 37 middle-level managers in SOEs in Indonesian. The analytical method used is the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS. The results showed that the interactive performance measurement system and participatory budgeting had a significant positive effect on managerial performance either directly or indirectly mediated by job challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya sekolah dan Diklat terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepda responden. Hasil angket dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda melalui uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Sungai Lilin yang berjumlah 74 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah 44 orang guru PNS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri Kecamatan Sungai Lilin; 2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan diklat terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri Kecamatan Sungai Lilin; 3) ada pengaruh yang signifikan budaya sekolah dan diklat secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri Kecamatan Sungai Lilin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis determinan intensi kepatuhan wajib pajak pelaku bisnis online berdasarkan konsep theory of planned behavior (teori perilaku terencana) yang diproksikan sebagai sikap, norma subjektif dan kontrol perilaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dari pelaku bisnis online yang telah terdaftar sebagai Wajib Pajak sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap intensi kepatuhan wajib pajak.

Abstract

This paper aims to study the construction of an appropriate legal basis for a state of law in responding to the Covid-19 emergency. As a state of law, Indonesia has been making many regulations at both central and local government levels. The regulations vary, ranging from Government Regulations in Lieu of Law, Ministerial Regulations, Ministerial Decrees, and Joint Decrees of Ministerial Instructions, to the Regulations of Regional Heads, and these regulations have led to overlapping regulations. With normative-juridical methods, the prescriptive technique was used to further analyze the problem and find a new concept of the construction of an appropriate legal basis in responding to the Covid-19 emergency. The research results show that, juridically, the use of non-legal products such as Ministerial Instructions and Circular Letters issued by ministers during the Covid-19 emergency in Indonesia has fulfilled the procedural aspects of law-making but not the substantive ones regarding the curbs restricting people’s social activities. This research recommends that the construction of a legal basis intended to respond to a state of emergency should simultaneously meet both procedural and substantive aspects

Abstract

A laboratory is a building or a room where scientific experiments, analyses, and research are carried out. Muria Kudus University has several laboratories which are used by lecturers and students to carry out several activities including learning, practicums, trials, and other lecture activities. Apart from being a place for practical activities, the laboratory is also used as a place to store various practical equipment and materials that require inventory. The process of borrowing practicum tools and materials has become a routine activity for practitioners who will carry out practicum activities. In the process of borrowing tools and materials in the Muria Kudus University laboratory, conventional methods are still used, namely by writing in a borrowed book or on borrowed paper. Apart from that, the inventory of laboratory equipment and practical materials is also not well documented because conventional methods are still used in the inventory process of laboratory equipment and materials. The research focuses on designing and creating an information system for inventory and borrowing tools and materials in the Muria Kudus University laboratory. This research discusses how to provide facilities to laboratory assistants in managing laboratory assets digitally and make it easier for students or lecturers to carry out practical activities in the laboratory. This management system is web-based and created using the PHP, JavaScript and MySQL programming languages as the database.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan gambar dan ilustrasi pada teks prosedur guna meningkatkan kepahaman pembaca, khususnya pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Glumpang Tiga. Pembacaan teks prosedur seringkali dihadapi dengan tantangan dalam memahami instruksi yang kompleks, dan penggunaan gambar dan ilustrasi dapat menjadi kunci untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen, di mana kelompok eksperimen menerima teks prosedur yang telah dioptimalkan dengan penambahan gambar dan ilustrasi, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menerima teks prosedur konvensional. Data diukur melalui uji pemahaman dan keterbacaan teks prosedur, serta umpan balik subjektif dari partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengoptimalan teks prosedur dengan memasukkan gambar dan ilustrasi secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas XI SMA. Analisis data juga mengungkap perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dalam hal keterbacaan dan tingkat kejelasan instruksi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mendukung pandangan bahwa penggunaan gambar dan ilustrasi dalam teks prosedur dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan dorongan bagi para pendidik dan penulis teks prosedur untuk secara lebih aktif mengintegrasikan elemen visual guna mendukung pembelajaran siswa di tingkat SMA.Kata Kunci : Optimalisasi, Teks Prosedur, Gambar Ilustrasi, Strategi
