Abstract

Laboratory Management is a systematic process that involves collecting, storing, maintaining, processing, retrieving, and validating data required by the laboratory to make informed management decisions. The Department of Pharmacy at Politeknik Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan (Poltekkes Kemenkes) Jambi needs a management system that can handle a significant amount of data. The current laboratory management system is not digitalized, which has led to inadequate documentation of inventory data, borrowing and returning of lab equipment and tools, as well as other relevant information related to schedules and student final projects. Therefore, the objective of this research is to develop a web-based information system for laboratory management. The system will assist laboratory staff in managing data and information related to practicums and laboratory activities. Input data are inventory of laboratory tools and materials data, lab schedule data, and lab activity data. The system output will provide tool and material inventory data reports, as well as reports on the use and borrowing of tools and materials. This research has resulted in the development of a Laboratory Management Information System that assists laboratory managers in managing inventory and laboratory activity data.

Abstract

PT. XYZ (XYZ ) is a company engaged in the rental of heavy equipment. The problems faced by PT. XYZ include frequent errors in heavy equipment rental transactions, difficulties in data retrieval, challenges in dissementing information about equipment rentals, and problems in the management of equipment maintenance. The aim of this research is to design a web-based system for heavy equipment rental and maintenance schedulling system. The methodology used in the system design employs descriptive analysis with a case study approach. The system modeling tool used is the Data Flow Diagram. The prototype of this application is expected to facilitate PT. XYZ in conducting heavy equipment rental processes, easing maintenance scheduling, and generating reports. To achieve theses objective, the system will manage input data such as heavy equipment unit data, technician data, and service data. From these processes, the system will generate reports such as transcantion reports and maintenance reports

Abstract

M-LMS android is an innovative learning model using internet technology. One of the media or applications that can be used to facilitate learning is to use M-LMS based android. M-LMS based on android implemented to improve teacher competence in SMKN 1 City of Jambi. In 2017 teachers in SMKN 1 city of Jambi on average from their teachers have used android as much as 98% and students who use android as much as 91.82%, 2.24% using IOS, Manual 4% and 1.94% have no android nor IOS. M-LMS android is one of the learning models that will be used in SMKN 1 Kota Jambi. In addition to the learning managerial implemented, M-LMS is able to provide new alternatives about information-based learning media that can be used in the learning process both in the classroom whenever and wherever. Problems can also be solved when a learning model emerges using M-LMS using an android based flatform moodle that can help teachers and students in the learning process whenever and wherever.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of an E-Commerce system for CV Kerinci Grafika aimed at resolving issues related to manual payment processing and transaction verification that previously required considerable time. The system is integrated with the Midtrans Payment Gateway to ensure that transactions are processed automatically, securely, and efficiently. The application was developed using PHP with the CodeIgniter 3 framework and a MySQL database. The research methodology employed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system requires input data such as products, customers, and user authentication through login and registration. The core processes include product management, shopping cart handling, order processing, and online payment transactions. The outputs generated include transaction invoices, purchase history, and payment reports. The implementation results show that the system successfully improves operational efficiency and accelerates the payment verification process at CV Kerinci Grafika.

Abstract

Vendor selection at PT. Manufaktur Digital Jaya is still prone to subjectivity and bias that focuses on price, which risks causing production bottlenecks and quality decline. This decision is a complex Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem and requires an objective and structured assessment. This research aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the best vendor at PT. Manufaktur Digital Jaya, using a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process  (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The AHP analysis was validated using Expert Choice software and the TOPSIS calculations were performed with Microsoft Excel. The AHP method is used to determine the priority weights of the assessment criteria, while TOPSIS is used to rank the vendor alternatives based on their closeness to the ideal solution. Five main criteria were established, covering Product Quality (C1), Unit Price (C2), Delivery Accuracy (C3), Service Capacity (C4), and Reputation (C5). The results of the AHP analysis show that Product Quality (C1) and Service Capacity (C4) are the criteria with the highest weights, reflecting the company's strategic priority on quality and long-term support.

Abstract

Data is an essential asset that must be protected due to its strategic role in maintaining the continuity of information systems. Therefore, data security becomes a crucial aspect in information management. One of the approaches to ensure data security is through the application of cryptographic techniques. Two commonly used classical cryptographic algorithms are the Rail Fence Cipher and the Vigenere Cipher. However, the use of a single algorithm has weaknesses, as it remains vulnerable to brute-force attacks. This study aims to combine two cryptographic methods, namely the transposition technique (Rail Fence) and the substitution technique (Vigenere), to enhance resistance against brute force attacks. The research employs an experimental method by implementing the combined algorithms using the Python programming language. Testing was conducted on three scenarios: encryption using Rail Fence, Vigenere, and their combination. The results show that the combined algorithm increases key space and produces more complex character distribution patterns, thereby improving security against brute-force attacks.

Abstract

The quality of public service is a crucial factor for companies such as the Regional Water Company. The main challenges often faced are the slow handling of customer complaints, difficulty in accessing billing information, and the bureaucratic process of new connection registration. This research aims to design and build an integrated web and mobile-based customer service information system. The research method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The result of this research is the customer service application, which consists of three platforms: (1) A back office web for administrators, supervisors, and superadmins to manage master data, monitor, and delegate complaints and reports; (2) An Android Mobile Application for Customers, featuring online complaints, complaint tracking, new connection registration, bill checking, self-service meter reading, and news information; (3) An Android Mobile Application for Field Officers, which functions to receive and update the status of complaint work orders. The implementation of this system has successfully transformed manual business processes into digital ones, thereby increasing response speed, data transparency, and customer satisfaction one of them is PERUMDA Air Minum Tirta Mayang.
