Abstract

Many processes in the industry that were originally done by humans are now being replaced by machines. This community service is focused on helping SMEs to collect aluminum beverage cans. The purpose of this service is for the efficiency of human labor and the effectiveness of the completion time of the can pressing process. The service of this lecturer is to plan, manufacture, and test semi-automatic press machines to automate the movement of press machines. The method in designing this machine is an observation and observation study. From the design carried out, a semi-automatic pressing machine is produced, with the following specifications with a compressive power capacity of 150 kg. The electric motor used has a power of 0.5 PK and a rotation of 1400 rpm. Productivity has increased by 550%, before being pressed one box holds 36 cans, after being pressed it can accommodate 198 cans. Abstrak Banyak proses di industri yang semula dikerjakan manusia, sekarang mulai digantikan oleh mesin. Pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan untuk membantu UKM pengepul kaleng minuman berbahan aluminium. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk efisiensi tenaga manusia dan efektifitas waktu penyelesaian proses pengepressan kaleng. Pengabdian dosen ini adalah merencanakan, membuat, dan menguji mesin pres semi otomatis untuk keperluan otomatisasi penggerakan mesin pres. Metode dalam perancangan mesin ini adalah studi observasi dan pengamatan. Dari perancangan yang dilakukan, dihasilkan suatu mesin pres semi otomatis, dengan spesifikasi sebagai berikut kapasitas daya tekan dengan kekuatan pengepresan 150 kg. Motor listrik yang digunakan memiliki daya 0,5 PK dan putaran 1400 rpm. Produktivitas mengalami peningkatan 550%, sebelum di press satu box menampung 36 kaleng, setelah di press mampu menampun 198 kaleng.

Abstract

UKM Kelompok Amanah di Kelurahan Dukuh Menanggal merupakan UKM yang sudah terdaftar dan menjadi UKM binaan Dinas Koperasi serta menjadi peserta unggulah Pahlawan Ekonomi gelaran Pemkot Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan evaluasi kelayakan bisnis dari aspek teknologi dan aspek finansial. Populasi dari UKM Amanah sebanyak 27 UKM sedangkan Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 1 UKM dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yang ditujukan pada UKM Berkah yang sudah memiliki sertifikat PIRT. Analisa data menggunakan odd ratio dan NPV, Profitability Index, Payback Period, ARR. Hasil Analisa data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek teknologi untuk Analisa Odd ratio menunjukan OR = 6,17 (95% CI 0,315 < OR < 132,73) artinya faktor kelayakan yang disampaikan untuk penggunaan teknologi pemasaran online cenderung 6,17 kali lebih tinggi diberikan oleh persepsi masyarakat daripada oleh pelaku UKM sendiri. Aspek finansial dengan menggunakan 100% modal sendiri didapatkan hasil Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp. 125.980.031, selanjutnya Payback Period (PP) yaitu 1 tahun 3 bulan, Profitability Index (PI) sebesar 4.072 dan Average Rate of Return (ARR) sebesar 27,92%.

Abstract

LMS (Learning Management System) 'Virlenda' is one of the options of PGRI University Adi Buana Surabaya in developing modern learning (e-learning). The LMS Virlenda 'will be studied whether to have an effect on the variable specified by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). There are 4 variables studied, namely the  perceived usefulness (X1), perceived ease of use (X2), Internet access (X3), and actual usage (Y1). Researchers took 174 sample students of LMS users 'virlenda'. The study also uses data analysis technique with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach with AMOS Graphics count tools for Technology Accepted Model (TAM) modeling. The results show that the technology acceptance model accepts the effect of perceived usefulness with actual usage with CR = 3.118 or CR > 1.96 for a significance level of 5% and the resulting p-value is 0.002. The technology acceptance model does not accept the effect of perceived ease of use on actual usage because CR = -0.475 or CR 1.96 for a significance level of 5% and the resulting p-value is 0.634. And the technology acceptance model accepts the effect of internet access on actual usage with CR = 2.633 or CR > 1.96 for a significance level of 5% and the resulting p-value is 0.008.LMS (Learning Management System) VIRLENDA menjadi salah satu pilihan Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran secara modern (e-learning). LMS VIRLENDA ini akan diteliti apakah memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Terdapat 4 variabel yang diteliti, yaitu persepsi kegunaan (X1), persepsi kemudahan (X2), akses internet (X3), dan penggunaan sesungguhnya (Y1). Penelitii mengambil 174 sampel mahasiswa pengguna LMS ‘VIRLENDA’. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teknik analisa data dengan pendekatan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan alat bantu hitung AMOS Graphics untuk pemodelan Technology Accepted Model (TAM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model penerimaan teknologi menerima pengaruh persepsi kegunaan dengan penggunaan sesungguhnya dengan CR = 3,118 atau CR >1,96 untuk taraf signifikansi 5% dan nilai p-value yang dihasilkan adalah 0,002. Model penerimaan teknologi tidak menerima pengaruh persepsi kemudahan terhadap penggunaan sesungguhnya dikarenakan CR = -0,475 atau CR ≤ 1,96 untuk taraf signifikansi 5% dan nilai p-value yang dihasilkan adalah 0,634. Abstract

Surabaya locomotive warehouse is one part of the company PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as a place to store spare parts for repair and maintenance purposes, especially locomotives. The implementation of these inspections and repairs, of course, requires spare parts to facilitate the maintenance process which generally spare parts are placed in storage or warehouses. The problem in the Surabaya locomotive warehouse is that the arrangement of spare parts for bin boxes for each type of group is not always fixed so that the search becomes a bit hampered. This study aims to review the repair of bin box spare parts placement on a regular basis by using the First-In First-Out (FIFO) approach to sort bin box spare parts based on their movement flow. Based on the results of the analysis, the classification of bin boxes in each type of spare parts rack group based on the flow of movement in sequence is fast moving, medium moving, and slow moving. In the fast moving spare parts bin boxes are placed on the bottom row of shelves, bin boxes that have medium moving spare parts are placed on the second and third rows of shelves. Meanwhile, bin boxes that have slow-moving spare parts will be placed on the top shelf. After classifying the spare parts in the bin box, an addressing area is made on each row of the rack to determine the location of the spare part position.

Abstract

Bioplastics is a plastic composite material that can decompose quickly and is environmentally friendly when interacting with soil and microorganisms. The aims of the research are: to examine the optimal composition of bioplastics made from tapioca waste by adding blood clam shell chitosan and glycerol, to determine the quality of production bioplastics from tapioca waste with the addition of blood clam shell chitosan and glycerol, and to determine the chemical content of the clam shells. bioplastic function of tapioca with the addition of blood clam shell chitosan and glycerol. The method used is experimental. Production of bioplastic by mixing waste tapioca flour, chitosan, and glycerol with a composition of 65%:35%:5mL, 70%:30%:5mL, and 75%:25%:5mL and additional water. The sample was put into a water bath and stirred at a temperature of 80oC for 15 minutes. Bioplastics were printed in aluminum foil, dried at 100oC for 90 minutes and cooled at room temperature for 6 hours. Laboratory test samples with tensile strength, elongation at break, FTIR, and biodegradation tests according to SNI 7188.7:2016 in the category of bioplastic easily decomposed. The results of the tensile strength on PBA1 samples were 0.75 Mpa, PBA2 samples were 0.54 Mpa, and PBA3 samples were 0.34 Mpa. Test value for elongation at break the PBA1 sample is 23.68%, the PBA2 sample is 15.33%, and the PBA3 sample is 12.12%. The sample test results do not meet the quality standard value of SNI 7188.7:2016 for the bioplastic category. The optimal composition of bioplastics is found in the PBA2 sample using tapioca flour as raw material with chitosan and glycerol as much as 70%:30%:5mL with a tensile strength 0.54%, an elongation at break 15.33%, biodegradation of 43%, and has a bioplastic content with functional groups (C=C), (CO), (CH),(OH), (C=C), and (CH2)n in the FTIR test results.

Abstract

In the last decade, technological developments and advances in the digital economy have changed consumer behavior significantly. In this millennial era, all levels of society can easily use e-Commerce. Meeting customer needs, even exceeding their expectations, is crucial in this intense digital business competition. This study took place at a X Store, which aimed to identify service attributes that would be developed to improve their quality. This study used the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, which began with surveys and interviews, then distributed questionnaires to respondents (customers) to find the Voice of Customers, and then processed the data using QFD. The results showed that: 1) the attribute Product Quality had the highest level of importance, with an importance level of 4.63; 2) the attribute Complete Product Type had the top priority for superior performance, with a weight value of 4.6398; 3) the technical response Easy Order Tracking Service is a top priority for improvement, with a priority value of 6.3224 and a normalized contribution of 32.44%.

Abstract

Non Destructive Test (NDT) merupakan langkah visual dalam pengawasan terhadap kualitas hasil pengelasan logam. Kebutuhan dasar ini merupakan rangkaian dari pembuatan Welding Procedure Specification (WPS). Pelaksanaan uji NDT dilakukan dengan Penetrant Test. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui kecacatan untuk 21 logam yang di las dengan arus 90 ampere dan 21 logam yang dilas dengan arus 100 ampere. Analisa data menggunakan odds ratio. Hasil penelitian diperoleh analisis bahwa arus mesin las SMAW yang menggunakan 90 ampere lebih banyak menyebabkan kecacatan berupa indikasi rounded mencapai 33,3 persen. Sedangkan arus mesin las 100 ampere lebih banyak menyebabkan kecacatan berupa indikasi linier mencapai 28,2 persen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai odds ratio OR = 2,200 (95 persen CI 0,632 < OR < 7,660) artinya arus mesin las 100 ampere cenderung menyebabkan kecacatan indikasi rounded 2,2 kali lebih besar daripada yang arus mesin las 90 ampere.

Abstract

Sumber Daya Manusia memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam rangka terciptanya produktifitas dan keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas dengan kinerja yang tinggi merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan tujuan perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui standard penilaian kinerja yang ada saat ini di PT. Timur Megah Steel dan untuk mengetahui hubungan penilaian kinerja terhadap peningkatan produktifitas karyawan bagian operator mesin mur automotive. Berdasarkan tinjauan yang dilakukan pada PT. Timur Megah Steel bagian produksi mur automotive (tanpa proses unichrome plating), dimana para operator mesin terdiri dari 12 karyawan, dimana setiap karyawan bertanggung jawab atas proses dari wire rod sampai menjadi produk mur dengan jam kerja yang sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah yang ada. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kinerja ini mambantu perusahaan dalam Mengidentifikasi standar penilaian kerja karyawan yang ada saat ini apakah perlu di perbarui atau tidak dan Meningkatkan produktifitas karyawan sebesar 58,3 persen pada bagian operator mesin mur automotive. Penilaian kinerja ini meliputi aspek Kualitas Kerja, Ketetapan Waktu, Inisiatif dan Kemampuan.
