Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing the competitiveness and performance of bamboo weaving Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bali, using a quantitative associative causal design. Bamboo weaving, an integral part of Balinese culture, faces significant challenges post-COVID-19. This research aims to analyze key factors such as business capabilities, product quality, infrastructure, technology, resources, government policies, and external support, and their impact on the competitiveness and performance of these MSMEs. Data were collected from 100 bamboo weaving MSMEs in Buleleng and Bangli using structured surveys. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) structural equation modeling to validate the proposed hypotheses. The study reveals that product quality (path coefficient = 0.275, t-statistic = 3.048, p-value = 0.003), infrastructure (path coefficient = 0.187, t-statistic = 2.176, p-value = 0.032), technology (path coefficient = 0.239, t-statistic = 3.231, p-value = 0.002), resources (path coefficient = 0.179, t-statistic = 2.048, p-value = 0.043), and external support (path coefficient = 0.185, t-statistic = 2.387, p-value = 0.019) significantly influence the competitiveness of bamboo weaving MSMEs. In contrast, business capabilities (path coefficient = 0.169, t-statistic = 1.856, p-value = 0.066) and government policies (path coefficient = - 0.031, t-statistic = 0.283, p-value = 0.778) were found to be insignificant in this context. The findings indicate that improvements in product quality, better infrastructure, adoption of modern technologies, effective resource management, and robust external support systems are critical in enhancing competitiveness. However, the expected positive impact of competitiveness on MSME performance (path coefficient = 0.182, tstatistic = 1.269, p-value = 0.207) was not statistically significant. This suggests that factors beyond competitiveness, such as market conditions and internal business processes, play a more substantial role in determining performance outcomes. This study provides practical recommendations for MSMEs to enhance competitiveness, emphasizing the need for improved product quality, infrastructure, technology adoption, resource management, and leveraging external support. Additionally, the research highlights the necessity for stronger, more effective government policies tailored to the unique challenges of bamboo weaving MSMEs. These insights are valuable for MSME owners, policymakers, and stakeholders aiming to support the bamboo weaving industry in Bali, ensuring its sustainability and growth in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

Kelompok usaha pengerajin anyaman bambu terutama penjor sebagai sarana upakara memiliki suatu prospek yang baik. Solusi kegiatan dengan memberikan bantuan dalam produksi berupa mesin paku tembak yang akan dikombinasikan dengan mesin kompresor. Hal ini ditujukan untuk mempermudah pembentukan kerangka dan mempercepat proses pembuatan kerangka sanggah penjor yang akan diproduksi. Pada bidang pemasaran diberikan penyuluhan berbasis teknologi 4.0 yaitu pemasaran memakai media elektronik dan media sosial. Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Belok Sidan pada bulan Oktober-November 2023. Metode yang digunakan yaitu: penyuluhan dan pelatihan pada pendampingan pembuatan anyaman bambu sebagai aksesoris kelengkapan upacara berupa penjor. Hasil kegiatan kelompok usaha pengrajin anyaman bambu Desa Belok Sidan menunjukkan peningkatan dari 50 buah menjadi 150 buah per hari. Model manajemen operasional yang telah dilakukan pada proses produksi dapat mempercepat waktu kerja, sehingga biaya operasional pekerjaan menjadi murah dan penggunaan tenaga kerja serta waktu yang efesien. Manfaat kegiatan ini dapat melestarikan tanaman bambu di sekitar lahan penduduk, memperkenalkan hasil kerajina anyaman bambu, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi serta peningkatan pendapatan kelompok usaha pengerajin pengerajin dan masyarakat. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini masyarakat dapat mengambil peran aktif dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya lokal

Abstract

E-Government sebagai upaya meningkatkan kepatuhan dan kemudahan wajib pajak dalam melaporkan SPTPD dan meminimalisir kontak antara petugas pajak dan Wajib Pajak dalam pembayaran pajak, Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Denpasar telah menyediakan fasilitas pelaporan SPTPD dan pembayaran pajak secara online kepada Wajib Pajak berdasarkan pada Peraturan Walikota Denpasar Nomor 16 Tahun 2016 tentang Online System Pembayaran dan Pelaporan Transaksi Pajak Hotel, Pajak Restoran, dan Pajak Hiburan, Kota Denpasar. Sistem pembayaran pajak secara online tersebut telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2016 sampai sekarang, dengan mengakses website www.simpadadenpasarkota.go.id. Wajib Pajak dapat melaporkan SPTPD-nya dan membayar pajaknya kapan saja dan dari mana saja. Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu masih terdapat wajib pajak hotel yang mengalami keterlambatan pembayaran dan pelaporan pajak hotel dikarenakan dalam mendapatkan tanda tangan dari pemilik hotel dan juga disebabkan oleh dana yang seharusnya digunakan untuk pembayaran pajak namun digunakan untuk dana operasional untuk hotel tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif . Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa pelaporan dan pembayaran pajak hotel di Kota Denpasar dengan menerapkan sistem online dapat dengan baik namun masih belum secara maksimal yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor-faktor penghambat dalam penerapan E-Government pada proses pembayaran pajak hotel di kota denpasar. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambat implementasi E-Government dalam pembayaran pajak Hotel secara online di Kota Denpasar, yaitu (1) tidak semua pegawai badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Denpasar memahami serta menguasai penggunaan sistem pelaopran dan pembayaran pajak secara online; (2) sosialisasi sistem pajak online belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal dan berkelanjutan; (3) minimnya kepatuhan dan kesadaran wajib pajak dalam pembayaran pajak

Abstract

Employee performance at the Badung Regency Education, Youth and Sports Office reflects effectiveness and efficiency in carrying out tasks related to the development and provision of education. High employee performance can have a positive impact in various aspects, such as improving the quality of education, good resource management, effective program planning, and adequate service to the community. This study aims to analyze the mediating role of organizational commitment on the influence of work motivation and organizational culture to improve employee performance at the Badung Regency Education, Youth and Sports Office. The number of respondents involved in the study were 94 respondents using the survey method. Data collection using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using SEM-PLS. The results showed that work motivation, work culture and organizational commitment had a direct and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment can moderate the influence of work motivation and organizational culture on employee performance. The total influence that dominantly affects employee performance is work motivation. It is recommended to provide facilities that support the physiological needs of employees and strengthen communication between leaders and subordinates, as well as give awards to subordinates who excel.

Abstract

Customer loyalty plays a critical role in facilitating economic activity at the village level, particularly in terms of lending and depositing funds. Customer loyalty contributes to the sustainability and stability of LPDs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of service quality, satisfaction, and trust on customer loyalty. The number of samples used was 100, using the accidental sampling method. Data collection was done using a Likert scale questionnaire. This type of research is quantitative. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analyses. The application used is Smart PLS. Hypothesis testing is done using the t test and the F test. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, and trust has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Service quality, satisfaction, and trust simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty at LPD Desa Adat Padang Luwih. The contribution of service quality, satisfaction, and trust to customer loyalty is 85.6 percent. It is recommended to improve service quality, satisfaction, and trust.

Abstract

The Badung Regency Education, Youth, and Sports Office is important in providing education services, youth development, and managing sports activities in the region. Employee productivity is critical to an organization's success. With high productivity, organizations can achieve organizational goals and provide quality services. The purpose of this study was to examine how information technology utilization, supervision, and job satisfaction affect the work productivity of Badung Education, Youth, and Sports Office employees. The total sampling method resulted in 94 respondents. The questionnaire utilized a Likert scale for data collection. We employed multiple linear regression analysis techniques with SmartPLS for data analysis. The results showed that the use of information technology has a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Supervision has a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Information technology utilization, supervision, and job satisfaction have a significant effect on work productivity. We recommend providing employees with the necessary hardware and software to perform their duties effectively.

Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata religi Penglukatan Pancoran Solas Pura Taman Mumbul menjadi tren berkunjung untuk melakukan aktivitas pariwisata religi, dikarenakan memiliki nilai spiritual, hal tersebut sebagai daya tarik masyarakat yang ingin mencoba untuk berkunjung ke tempat tersebut. Adapun tujuan penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran media sosial sebagai media promosi wisata spiritual di Panglukatan Solas Pura Taman Mumbul Desa Sangeh Kecamatan Abiansemal Kabupaten Badung. Metode penulisan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data, serta teknik penyajian hasil analisis. Dalam pemanfaatan platform media sosial untuk promosi masih belum optimal. Rekomendasi upaya promosi menggunakan seluruh platform media sosial dengan saling tertaut antara satu platform media sosial dan yang lainnya. Pihak pengelola agar dapat menggandeng infuencer lokal untuk pembuatan konten media sosial agar lebih menarik. Bekerjasama dengan agen perjalanan untuk memasukan kedalam daftar objek wisata yang akan dikunjungi. Pihak pemerintah juga dapat membantu mempromosikan dengan cara memasukan Penglukatan Pancoran Solas Pura Taman Mumbul kedalam media sosial milik pemerintah dan mengadakan event atau acara bersifat offline untuk menarik wisatawan

Abstract

This study describes the bureaucratic challenges in managing village funds and their impact on welfare improvement in the tourism village community by taking Badung Regency in Bali as the case study. Specifically, it examines how government role, governance, and social capital may influence fraud and economic performance in determining community welfare improvement. In this quantitative study, data were obtained from 150 respondents who used structured questionnaires with a Likert scale ranging from 1-5. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicated that governance and social capital significantly enhance economic performance and welfare at the community level and reduce fraud. Financial performance at the district/municipality level mediates the positive influence of governance and social capital on welfare at the community level. In contrast, fraud negatively mediates the impact of governance on economic performance. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen governance, build social capital, and minimize fraud to maximize village funds for sustainable community development in tourism villages. The study provides actionable insight into how policymakers and stakeholders can improve village fund management and enhance rural welfare.

Abstract

The management of waste produced by community households is not yet optimal, especially the handling of organic waste. To reduce the negative impact of organic waste whose management is not optimal, community service is carried out in the form of education and socialization of the application of organic waste processing by creating "Tebe Modern". This service activity is carried out using a descriptive evaluative method which is carried out by describing and analyzing the situation of the land used and maximized by socialization activities about how to process source-based waste by making "Tebe Modern". The results of this community service activity produced very good results, marked by high appreciation and enthusiasm from students, related agencies and community leaders.
