Abstract

The object of this research is the influence of anxiety on the ability to write narration. Writing skill is an essential part of the language that must be internalized in elementary school students. In fact, there are still many students who find it is difficult to express their narrative ideas into a written language called writing. The difficulty is thought to raise anxiety in expressing language into written form. Students are afraid to start to write so that students, performance in writing affects the production of the resulting writing. Anxiety will produce a negative effect that adversely affects the student and hinders the writing activities undertaken. Therefore, the researcher raised this problem with respondents who were taken at grade V (five) level in the Public Elementary School in the Binaan III Region, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta. The research method uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis techniques. Respondents used were 109 students from 3 elementary schools, namely SDN Kebon Jeruk 01, SDN Kebon Jeruk 08, and SDN Kebon Jeruk 10, by using the multistage cluster sampling technique. The research instrument was writing the narrative text for the variable narrative writing skill and a questionnaire for anxiety variables. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence anxiety with the ability to write narration. The results of the study stated there was an influence between anxiety on the ability to write narratives of 202.

Abstract

Siswa masih banyak kesulitan dan merasa bosan ketika mengikuti pembelajaran secara online. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi orang tua dan guru saat pembelajaran online, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak berjalan maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis peran orang tua dan guru dalam membimbing pembelajaran daring dan kesulitan yang dirasakan orang tua dan guru dalam membimbing pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi (gabungan, analisis data bersifat induktif/kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu orangtua dan guru sejumlah 11 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawanacara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu lembar wawancara. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belum sepenuhnya peran orang tua dapat dilaksanakan dalam membimbing anak melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Orang tua yang bekerja tidak bisa sepenuhnya berperan membimbing, mendamping, membantu anak mengerjakan tugas  dalam pembelajaran daring. Fasilitas yang dipersiapkan orang tua untuk anak belajar secara daring ini seperti handphone dan alat kebutuhan untuk belajar sudah cukup memadai. Guru melakukan pembelajaran melalui whatsapp grup, zoom, google meet, dan google drive. Guru sellu memberikan perhatian yang sungguh-sungguh kepada siswa agar siswa tetap semangat mengikuti pembelajaran secara daring.

Abstract

Many elementary school students have low conceptual understanding, it is because students do not absorb learning well, and one of the factors is the lack of learning media. Therefore, it is necessary to use more interactive learning media such as animated video media. This study aims to determine the effect of animated video media on students' understanding of science concepts. This research was conducted at SDN Kebon Besar 1. The method applied in this study is quantitative in the form of quasi-experiments. The population of this study was all grade IV students totaling 56 students, which were divided into two (2), namely class IVA as a control class using conventional learning methods and class IVB as an experimental class using animated videos. The data collection technique was in the form of a test (pretest-posttest). Hypothesis testing carried out with a t-test on the posttest test with a significance level of ? = 0.05 found Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that animated video media has an effect on students' understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in improving the quality of Human Resources and aims to make people who are virtuous, knowledgeable, and dignified. The implementation of science learning at SDN Kampung Melayu III is still less attractive because it only uses media such as textbooks, modules, and worksheets, so there is a need for the development of learning media to improve learning outcomes. This study uses the R&D method to produce new products or improve existing ones by considering certain aspects. Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, conducted in October 2022 involving subject matter and media experts, third-grade teachers, as well as small and large groups of class III A at SDN Kampung Melayu III, Teluknaga District, Tangerang Regency. This study develops monopoly-based problem-based learning science learning media. This study includes six validation stages and three field trial stages, with results showing that monopoly media is effective in improving students' ability in science learning and can be used as a fun learning resource. In science learning at SDN Kampung Melayu III, the use of monopoly media with problem-based learning models has been proven to significantly improve student learning outcomes and is suitable because it can help students solve problems critically and develop problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research to examine and analyze the data objectively according to the data found in the field. Then the data collected from the research results are described in the form of words. Informants in this study were grade II teachers and grade II students at SD Negeri Poris Pelawad 2 Tangerang City. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation studies. The results of this study aim to find out what factors are the origin of reading difficulties in grade II students at SD Negeri Poris Pelawad 2 Tangerang City. Based on the results of research that has been done by researchers that there are problems that become factors of early reading difficulties, namely the omission of words or letters, pronunciation of words with the help of the teacher, not paying attention to punctuation, hesitation, stuttering, retreats, and self-correction. Therefore, researchers can draw conclusions from the results of research that has been studied that there are still students who are not fluent in reading the beginning, this is caused by lack of motivation to learn, unavailability of family environmental factors, and unavailability of reading materials.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SDN Petir 4 Kota Tangerang masih pada tahap pembiasaan yaitu melalui kegiatan membaca dalam hati selama kurang lebih 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran untuk kelas tinggi, menyediakan fasilitas ruang pojok baca. Dalam penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah ini masih terdapat beberapa kendala diantaranya yaitu, masih kurangnya buku bacaan, kurangnya minat membaca siswa, guru belum sepenuhnya menjalankan kegiatan ini dan kurangnya pembinaan dari pihak dinas pendidikan setempat tentang Gerakan Literasi Sekolah ini. Sedangkan upaya-upaya untuk mengatasi kendala selama penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yaitu mengupayakan pemenuhan buku bacaan dan fasilitas perpustakaan dengan mengalokasikan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS), SDN Petir 4 membebaskan siswa untuk memilih kapan saja siswa mau membaca dan SDN Petir 4 dalam rangka membenahi kualitas pelaksanaan GLS dengan cara berdiskusi serta bekerjasama dengan sekolah lain atau ke sekolah yang juga menjadi sekolah rujukan GLS.

Abstract

Delia Putri Anjani (2086206011). Peran Literasi Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Baca Siswa Kelas IV SDN Sukasari 3 Tangerang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Literasi Dalam Meningkan Minat Baca Siswa Kelas IV di SDN Sukasari 3 Tangerang. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi Pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah di SDN Sukasari 3 Tangerang sudah berjalan kurang lebih selama 3 tahun terakhir, sejak pemerintah menetapkan program literasi, gerakan literasi yang sudah berjalan di sekolah SDN Sukasari 3 Tangerang sudah ada di fase Tahap pembiasaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Kualitatif Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Triangulasi data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data dalama penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas IV SDN Sukasari 3 Kota Tangerang sebanyak 21 siswa. dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dari 21 siswa terdapat 12 siswa dengan minat baca yang sangat tinggi, 6 siswa dengan minat baca tinggi, 3 untuk siswa dengan minat baca cukup dan 0 kurang. Secara keseluruhan minat baca siswa kelas IV di SDN Sukasari 3 Tangerang sudah mampu dalam memenuhi indikator. Untuk mengetahui minat baca siswa yaitu dapat diukur dari Atensi Membaca, Kegemaran Membaca, Waktu Membaca, dan Jumlah Buku Bacaan. Bahwa peran literasi dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas IV di SDN Sukasari 3 Tangerang sudah berhasil karena minat baca siswa yang sangat tinggi dan tinggi. Kata Kunci : Peran Literasi, Meningkatkan Minat Baca, Siswa

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a structured and diverse classroom-based curriculum designed to be user-friendly for both teachers and students. In its implementation, the government grants schools full authority and responsibility to develop a curriculum that aligns with their specific needs and local cultures. However, due to insufficient training, teachers often feel unprepared to implement the Merdeka Curriculum effectively. This study aims to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum is enacted at SDN Pakulonan 01, South Tangerang City, identify the challenges faced by teachers during implementation, and explore potential solutions. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data was analysed using descriptive methods. Findings indicate that teachers encounter difficulties in three key areas: lesson planning, lesson delivery, and assessment. Challenges include adapting learning tools and methods for teaching modules, executing differentiated and project-based learning, limited infrastructure, and constraints in both formative and summative assessments. These findings offer recommendations for enhancing teacher training programmes and improving facilities.
