Abstract

In mathematics learning, students have low self-efficacy, which results in low engagement and learning outcomes. One method that can be used to address this problem is by implementing a cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study is to analyze various types of cooperative learning, discover how cooperative learning helps students become more independent, and find errors in previous research. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is the method used. SLR examines relevant scientific articles from the last five years (2020–2025) collected from various databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and SINTA. The results of the study indicate that cooperative learning significantly improves students' self-efficacy. Cooperative learning such as Division of Student Team Achievement (STAD), Group Investigation (GI), Think Pair Share (TPS), and Teams Games Tournament (TGT) have been shown to increase students' self-confidence because they provide significant learning experiences, group collaboration, and social interaction. In addition, learning together improves cognitive abilities such as reasoning, conceptual understanding, and mathematics learning outcomes. Because student self-efficacy increases unevenly, teachers must employ appropriate learning strategies. Consequently, cooperative learning is recommended as an effective learning model for improving the quality of mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using GeoGebra on students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the PRISMA approach through literature searches on Google Scholar with the assistance of Publish or Perish for articles published between 2022 and 2026. From 76 identified articles, 15 relevant articles were selected based on the inclusion criteria.The findings indicate that GeoGebra has a positive effect on students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. Its use helps improve conceptual understanding, mathematical visualization, learning engagement, and critical thinking skills. The effectiveness of GeoGebra becomes more optimal when combined with learning models such as Problem Based Learning, Realistic Mathematics Education, and Discovery Learning. Therefore, GeoGebra can be used as an innovative digital learning medium to support mathematics learning.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the learning process, including mathematics learning, which is often considered difficult by students. This study aims to examine the effect of visual attractiveness in digital learning media on students’ enthusiasm for learning mathematics. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA stages. The research data were obtained from 15 scientific articles published in the last ten years through Google Scholar and relevant national journal portals. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques to identify patterns and findings from previous studies. The results show that visual elements such as colors, animations, learning videos, and interactive designs can increase students’ attention and engagement in mathematics learning. However, the effectiveness of learning media is also influenced by instructional design and student characteristics. Therefore, well-designed digital learning media can significantly improve students’ enthusiasm for learning mathematics.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to explore how much cooperative learning frameworks can enhance student engagement during mathematics lessons in high school. The issue tackled in this research is the inadequate student involvement stemming from teaching approaches that focus mainly on the instructor. This study relies on a comprehensive review of 19 pertinent articles released from 2018 to 2026, sourced from numerous academic databases, including Google Scholar, and others. Data analysis was conducted through a qualitative-descriptive method. Findings indicate that several cooperative learning models, such as Think Pair Share, Student Teams Achievement Division, Jigsaw, Team Games Tournament, Buzz Group, Team Assisted Individualization, Make a Match, and Group Investigation, have been effective in enhancing student learning engagements. This enhancement is evident in the increased student participation in activities such as asking and answering questions, engaging in discussions, presenting, and working collaboratively in groups. In summary, the use of cooperative learning models is crucial in boosting student learning activities and fostering a more interactive and learner-focused educational atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the implementation of Game-Based Learning (GBL) in mathematics learning and analyze its relationship with students’ learning motivation. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA protocol through searches in Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and Scopus databases within the last 10 years. From the selection process, 11 scientific articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques and thematic synthesis. The results indicate that GBL, both digital-based and traditional game-based, consistently improves students’ learning motivation, as evidenced by increased activeness, enthusiasm, engagement, and persistence in solving mathematical problems. In addition, GBL is effective in reducing negative perceptions of mathematics by creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. In conclusion, the implementation of GBL is an innovative learning strategy that effectively enhances learning motivation and contributes to improving the quality of mathematics education

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of the Desmos application in mathematics learning on students’ mathematical conceptual understanding through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The method used refers to the stages of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), which include identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. The data sources were obtained from scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024 through databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, and ScienceDirect. The selected articles were determined based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the review indicate that the use of Desmos in mathematics learning has a positive impact on students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. In addition, the use of Desmos also enhances students’ motivation and engagement in the learning process. Therefore, Desmos can be used as an effective learning medium to improve students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics.
