Abstract

Kebutuhan dasar manusia yang sangat penting untuk kelangsungan hidup sehari-hari adalah air bersih. Oleh karena itu, tugas utama pemerintah adalah menyediakan layanan air yang aman, merata, dan berkualitas tinggi, terutama melalui badan usaha milik daerah seperti Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum (Perumda). Pentingnya badan usaha daerah dalam memberikan layanan air bersih yang adil dan berkualitas tinggi sebagai bagian dari layanan publik menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendekatan Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Tirta Lamaindo dalam meningkatkan layanan air bersih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, untuk mengumpulkan data. Pelanggan dan pekerja Perumdam Tirta Lamaindo menjadi populasi dan sampel penelitian. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rencana peningkatan layanan penyediaan air bersih bagi pelanggan Perumdam Tirta Lamaindo belum terlaksana dengan benar, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh kegagalan memenuhi semua indikator keberhasilan peningkatan strategi layanan, termasuk kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang profesional dan kurangnya loyalitas terhadap PDAM

Abstract

Optimising the hygienic quality of salted fish is critical for coastal communities seeking to grow their economies and overcome the problems of Gaya Baru Village's Fishermen's Home Industry (IRT). Partners face difficulties drying fish when it rains, storing salted fish is still very simple, and partners lack good marketing techniques. The goal of this Community Service (PkM) is to: 1) increase technological knowledge; 2) increase the entrepreneurial spirit and motivation of partner entrepreneurs; and 3) improve HR capabilities in business management, production, and finance. The PkM has resulted in the development of two salted fish businesses in Gaya Baru village, allowing those who work to become self-sufficient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of women in the Family Welfare Empowerment Program in North Wandoka Village, Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach, which is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects, so the researcher is the key instrument. The findings show that community involvement in the primary PKK program went quite well, because of the community's knowledge to participate through involvement in events carried out by the PKK driving team in North Wandoka Village. Furthermore, community involvement in the main PKK program can be considered as community self-help, both in terms of manpower and supplies. The problem in North Wandoka Village is the lack of public education. It is recommended that the involvement of the North Wandoka Village community in the PKK program be increased again, and the PKK mobilizing team as the executor of tasks in North Wandoka Village to maximize community involvement in various activities.

Abstract

Peranan aktif dari Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau sebagai lembaga pemantau dalam mengawasi jalannya pemilihan umum, keberadaan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau sebagai lembaga pengawas pemilihan umum di Kota Baubau, merupakan hal penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan  pelaksanaan pemilihan umum di Kota Baubau yang jujur dan aman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan kepustakaan dan penelusuran data online. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kewenangan yang dimiliki oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau, ketegasan dalam melakukan penindakan terhadap pihak-pihak yang melakukan pelanggaran, dalam menyelesaikan pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang terjadi selama pemilihan umum, Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau telah melaksanakan tugas sesuai dengan amanat Undang-Undang yang berlaku.Kata Kunci : Pemilihan Umum Legislatif, Pengawasan

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is very important for creating healthy and sustainable living spaces. However, due to low public awareness and a lack of collaboration between residents and outside parties, there are still waste management issues in Kalia-lia Village that have not been properly addressed. Through a collaborative movement between students and local residents, this community service program (PKM) aims to increase public awareness and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness. The activities include educating the community on the importance of cleanliness, conducting joint efforts to clean up the environment, and forming the “Friends of the Kalia-lia Environment” group to support the sustainability of these activities. The results of the activity show that good communication and cooperation have been established between students and residents, and participation in environmental clean-up activities has increased. It is hoped that this synergy will become a model for sustainable cooperation to create a healthy and clean environment in Kalia-lia Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze community participation in village development in Laburunci Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving purposively selected informants such as village officials, community leaders, and residents. The results indicate that community participation is uneven across development stages. Participation in the planning stage remains low due to limited information access and dominance of certain groups. In contrast, participation in the implementation stage is relatively strong, particularly through mutual cooperation supported by socio-cultural values. However, participation in the evaluation stage is still limited due to a lack of transparency and insufficient public involvement. These findings highlight the need to improve information transparency and strengthen inclusive community participation in village development

Abstract

Rukun Warga (RW) is a community institution that has a strategic role in channeling community aspirations and supporting development at the village level. However, the effectiveness of RW's position in local government practice still shows variation between regions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of RW's position in channeling community aspirations and supporting development in Saragi Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, with informants consisting of village officials, RW administrators, and community leaders. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of RW is determined by the ability to capture and document community aspirations, coordination with the village government, and its impact on community participation in development activities. This study concludes that strengthening the institutional capacity and leadership of RW is a key factor in increasing the effectiveness of distributing aspirations and village development based on community participation.

Abstract

The community assistance program for the innovation “HILAL” (Hijau Lestari Alamku) was initiated in response to low public awareness and participation in environmental management, as well as suboptimal waste management and green space utilization in Kantalai Village. This program aimed to strengthen community capacity in participatory environmental management, promote environmentally friendly practices, and establish a collaborative model between residents and the village government. The implementation methods included socialization sessions, participatory environmental problem mapping, household waste management training, formation of community-based environmental working groups, and practical assistance in planting and maintaining productive and green vegetation. The program involved 45 participants divided into three groups: 15 housewives, 15 youths, and 15 local officials and community leaders. The results indicated an increase in participants’ understanding of waste management and environmental preservation. The housewives’ group successfully implemented household waste segregation and simple composting practices. The youth group initiated routine community clean-up activities and planted 120 tree seedlings in public areas. Meanwhile, local officials and community leaders developed follow-up action plans, including internal regulations and scheduled community service activities. Overall, the program led to initial behavioral changes, the establishment of a village-level environmental management structure, and strengthened collective awareness toward cleanliness and greening efforts. In conclusion, the HILAL innovation assistance program demonstrates that active community engagement is a key determinant of successful community-based environmental management, offering an adaptive and sustainable participatory model at the village level.
