Abstract

Every retailers want to keep their customers from leaving the store. One of the conditions that can make customers leave the store is when they experience out of stock situation. Out of stock is a threat to all retailers, including in Giant Purwakarta. The existence of out of stock conditions can make consumers leave the store or stay in the store. The decision to stay or leave the store is influenced by the characteristics that the consumer have. This study examines how much influence of the customer?s characteristic to the customer response when Giant Purwakarta out of stock. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative by using Pearson Chi-Square formula to analyse the relationship between variables. The results show that there are three characteristics that have significant value with customer response. The three characteristics are: general time constraint, brand loyalty, and store loyalty. On the other hand, the three characteristics of consumers found have no significant value with customer response when Giant Purwakarta facing out of stock. The three irrelevant characteristics are: Store distance, store price, and shopping trip. These results suggest that loyalty and time to shop become the most influential factors on consumer decision making to leave the store or stay in the store when retail store facing out of stock condition.

Abstract

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) is one of the plantation crops that produces vegetable oil which has become the main ingredient and leading agricultural commodity in Indonesia. The quality of oil palm seedlings is a disease attack during the seedling stage. The most common disease found in oil palm nurseries is leaf spot disease. The aim of this research is to propose strategies for handling leaf spot in oil palm nurseries in Indonesia. This research is a literature study research. The data used comes from secondary data. Data collection methods use textbooks, journals and periodical. Data analysis is carried out by reading, collecting, citing information, concluding and interpreting the results obtained through relevant study materials. The results obtained that there are several strategies that can be used to treat leaf spot in oil palm nurseries in Indonesia, i.e. by carrying out photon energy irradiation which can increase plant resistance to various types of pathogens, developing organic fertilizer formulations and using biocontrol agent which is expected to help oil palm nurseries in suppressing leaf spot disease, using fungicides to prevent resistance, taking preventive measures to reduce the risk of spot disease on oil palm leaves, carrying out conservation fertilization using S2 (385 mesh), S3 (638 mesh), and S4 (644 mesh) sachets and applying liquid  smoke areca nut in suppressing the growth of Curvularia sp.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi pemasaran layanan keuangan yang diterapkan Kantor Pos KCP Rantau Rasau dalam meningkatkan transaksi. Layanan keuangan di era digital menghadapi tantangan besar dengan munculnya platform keuangan digital seperti fintech. Kantor Pos, yang memiliki sejarah sebagai penyedia layanan tradisional, kini harus beradaptasi dengan perubahan pasar melalui strategi pemasaran yang inovatif. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan pendekatan yang menggabungkan teknologi, personalisasi layanan, dan edukasi masyarakat agar tetap relevan dan kompetitif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi pemasaran berbasis edukasi, promosi digital, dan kolaborasi lokal berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan transaksi dan loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Embung Fatimah Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Batam City as a health service provider faces the challenge of understanding how the use of visual media can affect visitors' perceptions regarding the services provided. In addition to the quality of the hospital's medical services, the hospital's ability to communicate to itself can also affect visitors' perceptions. The use of multimedia technology, especially through company profile videos, has a central role in communication and marketing strategies in health service institutions. The relevance of the RSUD Embung Fatimah company profile video to the current condition and identity of the Embung Fatimah Regional General Hospital is still inadequate. Therefore, it is necessary to review and update the video content to ensure that the information conveyed is in accordance with the latest developments. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the company profile video on the perceptions of visitors to the Embung Fatimah Regional General Hospital in Batam City. The Luther Sutopo Model approach was applied in designing the video and the EPIC Model in analyzing its effectiveness. The test results showed that the video that had been developed was very feasible to be distributed with a value of 98%. Meanwhile, in the beta test, it was found that the Embung Fatimah Hospital company profile video had an effectiveness level with an Epic Rate value of 4,130, which was categorized as 'Effective'. So it can be stated that this product is effective in influencing visitors' perceptions of current relevance

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading ability of sixth-grade students at SDN Gendang Timur III, Gayam District, through the implementation of the cooperative learning strategy Make a Match using picture card media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The instruments used included teacher and student observation sheets as well as reading comprehension tests. The results of the study showed an improvement in students’ reading skills. The average reading score increased from 62.2 in the pre-cycle to 68.8 in the first cycle and reached 74.8 in the second cycle. The mastery learning level also improved, rising from 40% in the pre-cycle to 60% in the first cycle, and 80% in the second cycle. This increase indicates that the Make a Match strategy supported by picture card media is effective in enhancing students’ reading comprehension and interest. Therefore, this strategy is recommended as an alternative for creating more active, enjoyable, and meaningful reading instruction in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of moderate Islam in Indonesian society through a bibliometric approach, focusing on scholarly literature published between 2019 and 2024. Moderate Islam has become a vital pillar in maintaining social harmony, promoting interfaith tolerance, and reducing the potential for radicalization, particularly among the younger generation. Based on the bibliometric analysis, there has been a notable increase in the number of publications related to moderate Islam, peaking in 2021, although a decline was observed in subsequent years. This study highlights the role of moderate Islam in shaping policies that emphasize interreligious dialogue and reinforce the values of inclusivity in social life. Furthermore, moderate Islam plays a significant role in promoting social balance, fostering a more just society, and encouraging the active participation of women in the public sphere of religion. Through bibliometric analysis, this research identifies trends and patterns in publications related to moderate Islam and illustrates its contribution to developing social and political stability in Indonesia. Overall, the findings of this study offer valuable insights for policymakers, academics, and the public in strengthening the values of moderation in religious life across Indonesia.   Keywords: Moderate Islam, Bibliometric Analysis, Social Harmony in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions and level of knowledge of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Rantau Rasau II Village regarding Islamic banking services, particularly in conducting transactions at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). The background of this study is based on the importance of Islamic financial literacy among MSMEs to support economic growth based on Islamic principles. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative with data collection through questionnaires distributed to MSMEs in the village. The results show that most MSMEs have limited basic knowledge regarding Islamic banking principles and products. Nevertheless, perceptions of Bank Syariah Indonesia are generally quite positive, especially related to aspects of halal transactions and fairness of the profit-sharing system. Factors such as education level, business experience, and access to information are variables that influence the level of knowledge and perceptions of MSMEs. These findings imply the need for more intensive education and socialization regarding Islamic banking so that MSMEs can have more trust and actively utilize BSI services optimally.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) binaan Bank Riau Kepri Syariah melalui penyelenggaraan workshop kepemimpinan dan manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) di era digital. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi UMKM antara lain keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam menghadapi perubahan digital serta pengelolaan SDM yang masih konvensional, sehingga berdampak pada daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha. Workshop ini meliputi pelatihan kepemimpinan, pengelolaan SDM berbasis digital, dan strategi adaptasi terhadap transformasi digital. Metode kegiatan berupa ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung terkait penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan SDM dan organisasi UMKM. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam kepemimpinan serta penggunaan teknologi untuk manajemen SDM. Diharapkan, melalui kegiatan ini, UMKM binaan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, produktivitas, dan daya saing di pasar digital yang semakin kompetitif.
