Abstract

Terrorism is an extraordinary crime that has a profoundly negative impact on society,with the Cirebon area having the highest red-zone level in West Java Province. Thisregion is highly vulnerable to the spread of radical ideologies and terrorist activitieswithin the community. Ex-terrorists get difficulty in finding job after imprisonmentand face negative stigma from the society. Therefore, community governancethrough empowerment of ex-terrorists is required. The research employs a qualitativemethod, collecting data through interviews with six informants. The results of thisstudy indicate that, according to social capital theory, which encompasses threedimensions, the process for ex-terrorist convicts involves soft-power strategies in theform of microeconomic empowerment conducted by the Social Identification(Idensos) Team and the Class 1 Probation Office (Bapas) in Cirebon. This approachis applied because all of them are members of JAD, which has low economicconditions. The second dimension, bridging, involves these former convicts activelyparticipating in community service activities, remaining open, and no longerisolating themselves as part of efforts to eliminate societal stigma. The thirddimension, linking, involves collaboration with private companies in the agriculturalsector, including mentorship for agricultural activities. Looking forward, challengesidentified include the lack of local regulations in Cirebon aimed at preventingterrorism and post-sentence rehabilitation, as well as the limited presence of counterterrorism activities in the media. These two challenges could provide useful input for future research.

Abstract

Conflict is one of the problems that occurs when every human, organization, and the social life of the organization. Conflict can be reviewed through the root of existing problems that can be internal or can be external. The science of public administration has the right resolution in dealing with the mechanism of collaborative governance. The literature review approach applied was based on scientific journals published in the database. The database that the authors used were Scopus, Science Direct, and Taylor and Francis Group. The result of this research showed that the implementation of the proposed collaborative governance form of cooperation structure and the policy then is the creation of the community plan making. Furthermore, the types of conflicts resolved by collaborative governance in the 2015-2019 period were the source of conflicts that often occur in that period. Researchers suggested that researching collaborative governance can be developed in government so that it can be implemented in overcoming various public problems.

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 virus has made several countries in the world implement a change in behavior or habits to continue carrying out activities as usual but by always implementing health protocols in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic or better known as New Normal. In addi-tion, the emergence of the Covid-19 virus has made all institutions or agencies experience enormous changes, especially in Indonesia. An example is the Correctional Institution, which must implement health protocols for the welfare of every individual in the Correctional Institution, both employees and prisoners. With the implementation of the health protocol in Correctional Institutions, this makes the implementers of self-reliance development in Correctional Institutions obliged to prioritize security and comfort for prisoners when conducting coaching. The inde-pendence development program at the Jambi Correctional Institution aims to make every inmate an expert in a field, and when the sentence has expired, prisoners are able to implement it in an environment outside the Correctional Institution. This study uses a qualitative method, and the purpose of this study is to measure the fulfillment of the rights of prisoners in the independence development program in the new normal era, also know the strategies applied in the midst of correctional problems in the fulfillment of human rights. So the conclusion is that the Peniten-tiary makes a policy, and every individual in the Correctional Institution must comply with the health protocol that has been established.

Abstract

Kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba di Indonesia telah berada dalam zona kritis. Penyalahgunaan narkoba selain di lingkungan masyarakat juga masih terjadi di dalam Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas). Perlu dilakukan kajian untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola pikir para pelaku penyalahgunaan narkoba agar ditemukan metode pembinaan yang efektif untuk menekan kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba kembali terulang baik di masyarakat maupun di dalam Lembaga Pemasyarakatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi untuk menemukan aspek criminal thinking yang berperan pada narapidan kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba. Penelitian mengambil lokasi di Lapas kelas 1 Tangerang. Informan yang dipilih untuk interview merupakan narapidana kasus narkoba yang banyak melakukan pelanggaran di lingkungan Lapas. Sedangkan observasi dilakukan pada metode pembinaan yang saat ini dilakukan oleh pihak Lapas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek menuntut hak dan rasionalisasi kejahatan memiliki andil terbesar yang mempengaruhi pola pikir narapidana penyalahgunaan narkoba.

Abstract

For the Madurese tribe, one of the largest ethnic groups in Indonesia, DKI Jakarta Province has become one of the destinations for people to migrate in the hope of improving their economy. It is done by creating various new businesses, one of which is Madura Store or Warung Madura. However, this creates new problems in the economy as its non-standard operating hours certainly increase competition in the same type of business. Qualitative methods were used in this study. The results show that the Madurese have social capital that can be utilized to support national development. Through bonding, they can unite in one tribal group due to the similarity of characteristics, language, culture, religion, and even the same fate abroad. Then, the bridging aspect supports them in having a community that organizes various communications and maintains the solidarity of every Madurese migrant in DKI Jakarta, thus they can build networks vertically and horizontally. Moreover, the linking aspect allows them to create a wide relationship and social network without having to form a concrete community.

Abstract

Perawatan kesehatan narapidana merupakan bagian integral dari pemenuhan hak asasi manusia yang harus dijamin oleh negara, termasuk perawatan bagi narapidana penderita tuberkulosis (TBC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana perawatan kesehatan narapidana penderita TBC dilakukan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Bogor, serta hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan perawatan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perawatan kesehatan yang diberikan telah mengikuti standar Kementerian Kesehatan, tetapi menghadapi kendala seperti overpopulasi, keterbatasan tenaga medis, serta fasilitas kesehatan yang terbatas. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kualitas perawatan dengan menambah tenaga medis, memperbaiki kondisi lingkungan lapas, serta memperkuat program edukasi kesehatan bagi narapidana.

Abstract

Children's learning motivation has a significant influence on adolescent behavior, which can lead to delinquency and legal issues, ultimately resulting in them becoming residents of LPKA. Several studies have shown that children undergoing rehabilitation at LPKA experience various psychological impacts, one of which is a decrease in self-esteem, which is considered a person's perception of themselves. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the therapeutic methods widely used to address issues of self-esteem and motivation. This study aims to evaluate the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in enhancing the self-esteem and learning motivation of residents at LPKA Class I Tangerang. This research used an experimental qualitative method by providing CBT for six sessions to three residents, using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) as measurement tools. The results of the study showed an increase in the average self-esteem and learning motivation of the residents before and after the CBT intervention.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji pelaksanaan Aksi Sosial Gerakan Nasional Klien Bapas Peduli melalui kegiatan kebersihan lingkungan di kawasan Pujon sebagai upaya sosialisasi pidana kerja sosial menjelang implementasi KUHP 2026. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 26 Juni 2025, di empat lokasi strategis: Kantor Kecamatan Pujon, Tugu Pujon, Masjid Pujon, dan jalan-jalan sekitar Pujon. Melibatkan 23 klien Bapas Malang, pegawai Bapas, Taruna Politeknik Pengayoman Indonesia, mahasiswa dari Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Merdeka Malang, dan Universitas Islam Negeri Malang, serta TNI, Polri, dan masyarakat setempat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif kolaboratif dengan gotong royong dan interaksi sosial. Kegiatan mendapat sambutan baik dari Kecamatan Pujon, Polsek Pujon, dan Koramil Pujon. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi multipihak berhasil meningkatkan kebersihan lingkungan, mengurangi stigma terhadap klien, dan memperkenalkan konsep pidana kerja sosial kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini menjadi momen penting dalam mempersiapkan implementasi KUHP 2026 yang memperkenalkan pidana kerja sosial sebagai alternatif pemidanaan. Melalui aksi nyata ini, masyarakat dapat melihat bahwa klien bukan ancaman, melainkan individu yang berproses memperbaiki diri dan mampu berkontribusi positif. Dengan demikian, program ini efektif sebagai media sosialisasi, edukasi, dan reintegrasi sosial yang humanis dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This community service aims to prevent body-shaming behavior among students at SMA Plus Pagelaran, Cisalak Village, Subang, through a community development approach. Body shaming, the act of criticizing a person's physical appearance, hurts students' psychology and self-confidence. This program is implemented by providing education to students, teachers, and parents about the negative consequences of body shaming and the importance of respecting physical diversity.  The activities carried out include socialization, group discussions, and the formation of supportive communities that strengthen students' confidence. The method is a participatory approach that involves all stakeholders in the school environment to create social norms that reject body shaming. Data collected through observation and interviews indicated increased awareness and a shift toward more positive attitudes toward physical differences among students. The results of community service activities prove that community development-based interventions are effective in reducing body shaming and building an inclusive and supportive school environment. This program is expected to serve as a model for preventing body shaming in other rural schools by empowering the community and supporting students' mental well-being. Further implementation can strengthen the role of schools and communities in fostering a positive culture that respects diversity and promotes solidarity among students in Cisalak Village, Subang.
