Abstract

In today’s modern era research is the key to do anything new or to make improvements in the existing system or business. It is important for a researcher to write down articles about the various subject matters that would help people in understanding new things and adding value to the existing knowledge about the subject matter. Most of the teachers use different types of teaching styles with the intent of making learning more effective and increasing the satisfaction level of students. On the basis of the feedback provided by students, they assess the teaching style that is most effective and that satisfies the needs of the students. Recent studies have showed that student satisfaction is measured by looking at factors like the behavior of teachers, the environment of study and many other factors. So we have assessed the effect of teaching style on student satisfaction through the mediating role of teacher’s behavior and qualification. This article focuses on the methods used by teachers, their behavior and delivery style. On the basis of the results and analysis it can concluded that both teachers’ qualification and their behavior has its direct impact on student satisfaction. The conclusion that was drawn from the results was that the mediating role of teacher qualification and behavior mediates the relationship between independent and dependent variables.

Abstract

The term social entrepreneurship is used to refer to the rapidly growing number of organizations that have been created for the benefit of society. Social entrepreneurs have created models for efficiently catering to basic human needs that existing markets and institutions have failed to satisfy. Social entrepreneurship combines the resourcefulness of traditional entrepreneurship with a mission to change society. Social entrepreneurship offers insights that may stimulate ideas for more socially acceptable and sustainable business strategies and organizational forms. Because it contributes directly to internationally recognized sustainable development goals, social entrepreneurship may also encourage established corporations to take on greater social responsibility. Akhuwat is an organization established to contribute to society in several dimensions that are associated with economic and social aspects. The mission of Akhuwat is to reduce poverty in the country. The paper will argue that social entrepreneurship ventures such as Akhuwat are able to overcome the hurdles to socio-economic and sustainable development in poor countries by building necessary infrastructure, creating social capabilities to respond to economic opportunity and discovering and creating the conditions for scaling up and for financial viability. Thus, this paper will highlight the impact of Akhuwat in reducing poverty and enhancing economic and social status of the beneficiaries of Akhuwat.

Abstract

The thickening of community stigma can hinder the integration of former prisoners into the community environment. This study aims to determine the role of community supervisors in dealing with and minimizing community stigma for correctional clients, in addition to identifying what obstacles there are in dealing with community stigma for correctional clients. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method that utilizes in-depth interviews and observations. The results of the study found that the description of community stigma to correctional clients in the work area of the Cirebon Class I Correctional Centre covering five cities and regencies is indeed true, as evidenced by people who have concerns, suspicions, and misconceptions, and some words should not be from the community to clients. In addition, there is no role for government agencies or, in this case, the correctional center, related to the problem of community stigma. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a counseling program in improving the self-control of prisoners with psychological disorders at Brebes Class IIB Correctional Institution. Prisoners often experience psychological disorders due to social isolation, overcapacity, and the pressures of life in prison, which have a negative impact on their self-control. The counseling program implemented aims to help prisoners develop self-control through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach and mental health screening using the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-29). The results indicated that counseling significantly improved the psychological condition of prisoners, with positive behavioral changes, increased self-discipline, emotional management, and healthy habits. The success of this program is measured through five main aspects: behavior change, mental health, problem-solving, self-discipline, and healthy habits. For optimal effectiveness, increasing the frequency of counseling, training prison officers, and providing better counseling facilities are recommended. Abstract

Limited space for movement and negative stigma as lawbreakers cause foster children to feel pessimistic and hopeless, thus reducing children's motivation to plan for their future. Various efforts are needed to build children to be optimistic about having a good future orientation. This study aims to provide an analysis of the relationship between self-efficacy and social support to the future orientation of fostered children while proving whether social support can be a mediator between self-efficacy and future orientation. This study uses quantitative research methods with non-probability sampling techniques on as many as 109 foster children. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire. The measuring instruments used include General Self-Efficacy (GSE), Social Support Scale (SSS), and Future Orientation Scale (FOS). There are 77 statements that are used as indicators in this study. Data analysis techniques carried out through normality tests, multiple linear regression tests, correlation tests, Sobel tests, and determination tests were processed using JASP software version 0.14.1.0. The results showed a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and future orientation with a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.318) as well as social support and future orientation with an R² of 0.473, and the Sobel test showed that social support significantly mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and future orientation. In conclusion, self-efficacy and social support contribute positively to the future orientation of foster children, and social support can act as a mediator to strengthen the influence of self-efficacy on future orientation. Abstract

This study examines the conditions and factors that influence the resilience of elderly prisoners at the Karawang Class IIA Correctional Institution while serving their sentence. Elderly prisoners face a range of challenges, including overcrowded conditions, declining physical health, and psychological distress from loss of freedom and social isolation. Overcrowding, which worsens the quality of care and increases the potential for conflict, exacerbates these problems. Elderly prisoners, who are already vulnerable to physical and mental health problems, must go through phases of grief, acceptance, and resilience. Using a qualitative narrative approach, this study explores how these prisoners endeavor to adapt and overcome their difficulties. Data was collected through interviews with elderly prisoners and Karawang Class IIA prison officers. The research identified key aspects of resilience, such as emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, and causal analysis. Further findings highlighted the importance of knowing the factors that influence individuals to be resilient, such as self-esteem, social support, spirituality, and positive emotions, in fostering resilience in elderly prisoners. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors that help in the process of enhancing resilience and the role of prison rehabilitation programs in improving the well-being of prisoners, especially elderly prisoners. Abstract
