Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang klasifikasi usaha industri kecil dan industri menengah di Kabupaten Luwu Utara menggunakan metode Average Linkage Clustering. Metode Average Linkage Clustering dianggap lebih stabil, dimana nilai rasio simpangan baku yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan metode-metode Cluster Hierarky lainnya. Kabupaten Luwu Utara merupakan suatu daerah dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya dan terdiri dari 48 bidang usaha industri yang berbeda-beda. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan usaha industri di kabupaten Luwu Utara berdasarkan indikator industri kecil dan industri menengah menggunakan metode Average Linkage Clustering. Hasil penelitian diperoleh, dari pengklasifikasian 48 usaha industri di kabupaten Luwu Utara yang dibentuk dalam dua cluster, yaitu cluster A merupakan cluster industri kecil yang terdiri dari 43 usaha industri dan cluster B merupakan cluster industri menengah yang terdiri dari 5 usaha industri.Kata Kunci: Usaha Industri, Average Linkage Clustering

Abstract

Kasus pada penelitian menunjukkan fungsi dari bentuk kurva antara peubah respon dan peubah prediktor tidak diketahui. Ketidakjelasan bentuk kurva tersebut menjadi pertimbangan digunakannya Regresi nonparametrik. Kemudian diketahui data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data perwilayah. Data perwilayah merupakan data yang memiliki sifat fluktuatif. Hal ini dikarenakan setiap wilayah memiliki kecendrungan perbedaan yang tinggi akan setiap karakteristiknya, Sehingga di duga cocok digunakan pendekatan deret fourier. Pemodelan dilakukan dengan metode Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) untuk mencari titik knot optimal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat variabel prediktor yang memberi pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel respon.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang menarik adalah perbedaan karakter mahasiswa yang sering disebut sebagai Generasi Z. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar mahasiswa yang diberikan media pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakter Generasi Z. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan one sample pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 mahasiswa di Jurusan Matematika, UIN Alauddin Makassar. Data hasil penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan media pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakter Generasi Z (bahan ajar yang menarik, penggunaan motion graphic, sli.do, kahoot dan strategi problem solving berdasarkan permasalahan kehidupan sehari-hari).The Effect of Learning Media on Learning Motivation: Overview based on Generation Z CharacterAbstractOne interesting problem is the difference in the character of students who are often referred to as Generation Z. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in student learning motivation given learning media in accordance with Generation Z characters. This research is a quasi-experimental study with one sample pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 21 students in the Department of Mathematics, UIN Alauddin Makassar. Research data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using t test. The results showed that there were differences in motivation before and after learning media were given according to Generation Z characters (interesting teaching materials, use of motion graphics, sli.do, kahoot and problem solving strategies based on problems of daily life).

Abstract

Background: Anecdotal evidence suggests that Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, shows differences in morbidity and mortality between the gender. The gender category is one of the simple categories but it is very important to look at the relationship between gender (male/female) and Covid-19 positive patient status (life/death). Metods: In this study used odds ratios. Result: The results showed that the chances of men affected by Covid-19 to recover were 0.75 times the chances of women with positive Covid-19 to recover. Recommandation: For further research, can use more diverse variables and larger sample sizes

Abstract

Multilevel logistic regression is one of the alternatives to solving a problem that has a nested data structure like the student data in Alauddin in 2016. The data indicates that students are nested in each different study program. This condition allows the students in the same study program tend to have similar characteristics. The study aims to gain a student graduating model of punctuality using multilevel regression analysis and recognize factors that have a significant impact on student graduating time. Based on our research, we find the best model that fits the data to be the random intercepts model with a random slope of gender variable. The variables that have significant effects are gender, cumulative achievement index, educational background, and accredited program. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mobile legends online games on the interest in learning of students of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alauddin Makassar. The research method used in this study is using a correlational quantitative approach, where the population taken is active students who play Mobile Legend online games at FST UINAM. To determine the sample used quota sampling technique by determining the portion of 10 people in each department in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Retrieval of respondent data through google form then the data is processed with the SPSS application. Mobile legend online game is one of the top 5 most played MOBA games on the android market and much favored by students, none other than students. The Mobile Legend online game variable consists of three indicators, 1) Media Exposure, 2) Play Motivation and 3) Imitation Behavior. From the results of the analysis carried out by using a hypothesis test with a calculated F value of 3.620 > F table 2.71, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Media Exposure (X1), Play Motivation (X2) and Imitation Behavior (X3) simultaneously on Learning Interest (Y). The value of R2 (R Square) 0.112 means that the influence of the Mobile Legend Online Game variable on learning interest is 11.2% while the effect is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Mathematics is still viewed as a culture-free subject. This forms a negative perception for students on mathematics. Most students assume that mathematics and culture are not related. This may occur because mathematics taught in school is not contextual and far from the reality of everyday life. Historically, mathematics has become a part of daily life. As a maritime nation, Indonesia has a diverse culture. But many teachers are not yet aware of the integration of the culture into mathematics learning. Barongko cake is one of the Buginese cultural heritages. Buginese people have unconsciously been practicing mathematics in making these cakes. Therefore, this research aims to explore activities in making Barongko cakes in the Buginese community that involves mathematical concepts. This research is a qualitative descriptive with an ethnographic approach. The data collection methods are carried out through observation, documentation, interview with an expert in making Barongko cake. This research found that Barongko making process involves mathematics in the concept of division, congruence and similarity, as well as a triangular prism, and half sphere. This cake has the potential to be used as a source of contextual mathematics learning in schools.
