Abstract

Abstrak: Internet of things menjadikan remaja seperti menemukan dan mendapatkan media yang dapat memenuhi segala kebutuhannya. Remaja sebagai pengguna fasilitas internet terbesar paling rentan terkena dampak penggunaan internet. Efek internet of things dalam hal ini media sosial, mengajak siapapun dapat bebas berkomentar dengan perkataan yang kasar (bad mouthing) serta menyalurkan pendapatnya tanpa rasa khawatir. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya bad mouthing pada remaja di Kota Samarinda. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perubahan tingkat keterampilan sosial pada remaja Kota Samarinda berusia 13-15 tahun. Kegiatan dalam pengabdian berupa pelatihan menggunakan metode positive vibes training diberikan kepada remaja selama 1 minggu dengan 2 kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan kegiatan pelatihan tersebut terdapat 8 remaja yang mengalami peningkatan, terdapat 9 remaja dengan keterampilan sosial tetap, dan terdapat 2 siswa yang mengalami penurunan keterampilan sosial setelah mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan sosial melalui positive vibes training dalam menurunkan bad mouthing (agresivitas verbal) efek internet of things (media sosial). Abstract:  The internet of things makes teenagers like finding and getting media that can meet all their needs. Teenagers as the largest users of internet facilities are most vulnerable to the impact of internet use. The effect of the internet of things, in this case social media, invites anyone to freely comment with harsh words (bad mouthing) and express their opinions without worry. The problem raised in this service is the increase in bad mouthing among teenagers in Samarinda City. This service aims to examine changes in the level of social skills in Samarinda City teenagers aged 13-15 years. Activities in service in the form of training using the positive vibes training method are given to teenagers for 1 week with 2 meetings. Based on the training activities, there were 8 teenagers who experienced an increase, there were 9 teenagers with permanent social skills, and there were 2 students who experienced a decrease in social skills after participating in social skills training through positive vibes training in reducing bad mouthing (verbal aggressiveness) the effects of the internet of things (social media).

Abstract

Peran pengawas sekolah dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah melakukan pembinaan terhadap guru (PP Nomor 74 Tahun 2008), dalam proses belajar mengajar peran supervisi pengawas sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, dimana para guru didalam melaksanakan tugasnya merupakan ujung tombak dalam mensukseskan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Didalam pelaksanaan proses belaajar mengajar para guru seringkali mendapat kesulitan,dan kesulitan itu akan terjadi kemandegan dan kegagalan sekaligus berdampak pada mutu pembelajaran, peran supervisi atau supervisor memiliki peran strategis dalam memberikan layanan terhadap guru yang mendapatkan kesulitan atau terjadi penurunan dalam kompetensinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sekaligus mengimplementasikan di tempat kerja mengenai peran supervisi pengawas sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan dalam penelitian, triangulasi, diskusi dengan teman sejawat, analisis kasus negatif dan member check.. Tujuannya untuk memperoleh deskripsi yang utuh dan mendalam dari sebuah identitas. Adapun teknik dokumentasi. Analisa triangulasi dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan lebih dari satu orang dalam pengumpulan dan analisa data. Hasil penelitian dan pengolaan data menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa kompetensi yang sejatinya dikuasai supervisor yaitu perencanaan supervisi dan pelaksanaan supervisi.

Abstract

A financial report audited by public accountants carries significant responsibility as the basis for decision-making for stakeholders and serves as a symbol of the reliability of financial information for an entity. However, several cases of ethics and regulatory violations have occurred in some prominent KAP in Indonesia. This phenomenon underscores the importance of enforcing ethical codes for the public accounting profession. This research aims to analyze the ethical code of the public accounting profession based on the perspective of Islamic teachings contained in Al-Hadiths. Employing a qualitative descriptive method and an interpretative approach, data were gathered from various sources, including hadiths, scholarly journals, and existing codes of ethics for public accountants. The findings depict that Islamic ethics emphasize good behavior in daily interactions, grounded in principles such as justice, ihsan, honesty, responsibility, and diligence. These principles serve as guidelines for public accountants to perform their duties with integrity, responsibility, high levels of honesty, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information in line with Islamic principles. Furthermore, the code of ethics for public accountants in the Islamic perspective emphasizes principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, professional care, confidentiality, and professional behavior. The implications of this research underscore the importance of understanding and applying Islamic ethical principles in accounting practices to achieve professionalism aligned with religious teachings. Thus, this research is expected to provide valuable contributions to enriching understanding of the relationship between Islamic ethics and accounting practices and promoting the adoption of practices in harmony with the moral values of the hadiths.

Abstract

Kencur (Kaempferia galanga L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman Suku Zingiberaceae yang diketahui mengandung minyak atsiri yang dapat meningkatkan nilai rasa pada produk. Salah satu inovasi produk yang dapat memanfaatkan rempah kencur yaitu keripik cireng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan formulasi terpilih dari keripik cireng yang ditambahkan kencur (Kaempferia galanga L.) yang terdiri dari P1 kontrol (0%), P2 (9 %) dan P3 (12,5%). Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa uji mutu sensori (warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur), uji hedonik (warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur dan overall (keseluruhan)), uji mutu kimia (proksimat) meliputi uji kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak, protein dan karbohidrat. Data hasil pengujian dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam ANOVA dengan α 5%. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada uji sensori pengaruh penambahan kencur tidak perpengaruh nyata terhadap warna dan tekstur, tetapi perpengaruh nyata terhadap aroma dan rasa. Pada uji hedonik penambahan kencur tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur dan overall (keseluruhan) keripik cireng kencur, namun pada parameter overall (keseluruhan) keripik cireng dengan perlakuan 2 memiliki nilai hedonik yang lebih tinggi dibanding perlakuan 1 dan 3. Hasil analisa mutu kimia produk keripik cireng terpilih yaitu kadar air 1,27%, kadar abu 0,48%, kadar lemak 6.57%, kadar protein 12,29% dan kadar karbohidrat 79,39%. Hasil analisa kimia produk keripik cireng kencur terpilih telah memenuhi SNI 01-6630 : 2002.

Abstract

Perairan Tukak memiliki keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi, termasuk populasi hiu yang terancam akibat aktivitas antropogenik yang intensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik morfometrik dan meristik hiu yang tertangkap dengan jaring insang serta menganalisis status konservasinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Juli 2024 di Dermaga Tukak, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan. Pengumpulan data mencakup panjang total (TL), panjang prekaudal (SL), panjang cagak (FL), dan berat. Selanjutnya, dilakukan identifikasi spesies hiu yang ditemukan di perairan Tukak, Bangka Selatan, dan dibandingkan dengan daftar IUCN serta CITES untuk menilai tingkat ancaman dan regulasi perdagangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua individu Atelomycterus marmoratus yang tertangkap berjenis kelamin betina (40"“43 cm TL), sedangkan dua individu Chiloscyllium punctatum jantan berukuran 40"“42 cm TL. Kedua spesies ini belum mencapai kematangan seksual, yang mengindikasikan eksploitasi sebelum usia reproduksi. Spesies ini dikategorikan sebagai Near Threatened oleh IUCN. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung kebijakan konservasi dan perlindungan habitat hiu. Edukasi kepada nelayan mengenai pengurangan tangkapan sampingan (bycatch) dan pelepasan hiu perlu ditingkatkan. Keterbatasan penelitian mencakup jumlah sampel yang terbatas dan cakupan geografis yang sempit. Jika identifikasi visual tidak memungkinkan, metode DNA barcoding dapat digunakan untuk memastikan identifikasi spesies hiu secara akurat di perairan Tukak, Bangka Selatan.

Abstract

This community service aimed to enhance mathematics teachers' skills in designing Project-Based Learning (PjBL)to foster students' critical thinking. The workshop, held on October 14, 2023, at SMAN 11 Garut, targeted high school (SMA/SMK) mathematics teachers. Activities included theoretical presentations, hands-on project design, and assessment development. Results showed a significant positive impact on teachers' understanding of PjBL and its link to critical thinking (evidenced by increased pre-test/post-test scores). Teachers also demonstrated improved practical skills in designing relevant math projects and authentic assessments, alongside a heightened awareness of critical thinking's importance. While recognizing potentials and challenges in PjBL implementation, the workshop boosted teacher confidence and motivation. This is a crucial step toward more meaningful math education and developing future-ready critical thinkers, with continued mentoring recommended for sustained impact.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the lack of adequate learning media, the textbooks which often display 3D images simplified into 2D, which can cause misunderstanding of students towards the concept of three-dimensional shapes. It also found that students showed high interest in learning using videos due to the limited environment by the latest technology. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid and practical Problem Based Learning (PBL) video.  This type of research is development research with the 4-D development model, which consists of four stages. Define is the stage to determine why the product developed, along with its specifications. Design is designing the product based on the predetermined specifications. Develop is to produce the product, testing its validity and practicality to ensure that the outcomes meet the expected specifications. Disseminate is the stage of distributing the validated product to a wider audience for practical use but not used in this research. Data were carried out through questionnaires. The instruments used in this study include validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Based on the research results conducted on ninth-grade students of SMP IT An-Nahl, it can be concluded that the PBL-based learning video for flat-sided space shapes material has a high validity level with a percentage of 85.03%. For practicality testing, the teacher response questionnaire showed an average percentage of 87.3%, which is categorized as very practical, while the student response questionnaire obtained an average percentage of 93%, also categorized as very practical.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the new student admission program at one of the Madrasahs in Cirebon, focusing on the effectiveness of the selection system and its impact on the quality of students accepted. This study uses the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model, providing a comprehensive framework for assessing the new student admission program. Data were collected through structured and unstructured interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The study results indicate that although the new student admission has succeeded in increasing the number of student registrations, the selection is still more focused on quantity than quality. This program is based on the vision of the madrasah, which is to develop students who are religious, intelligent, independent, and have good morals. Still, the selection process has not included in-depth academic and psychological evaluations. Although the infrastructure and socialization of the program are adequate, the quality of students accepted varies, affecting academic standards. This study suggests improvements in the selection process by implementing a more comprehensive assessment of student academic competence and character to improve student quality per the goals of madrasah education.
