Abstract

General background of this research focuses on the use of medical record forms in inpatient clinics, particularly at the Afifa Prambon Clinic. Specific background indicates that the forms currently used may not meet expected standards, both in terms of physical, anatomical, and content aspects. Knowledge gap lies in the lack of comprehensive analysis of the compliance of these forms with Huffman's theory. The aim of this study is to analyze the design of medical record forms at the Afifa Clinic based on physical, anatomical, and content aspects. Results of the research show that the physical aspect of the form is inadequate, such as the use of paper material that easily tears, and the anatomical aspect also does not meet standards, including the absence of form numbers and filling instructions. The novelty of this study lies in identifying the elements that need improvement in the form design and providing recommendations for enhancements. The implication of this research emphasizes the importance of improving form design to enhance the quality of medical record filling, which in turn can contribute to better healthcare services in the clinic. Highlight: Role of Music: National songs serve as powerful tools for fostering patriotism among students. Teacher Involvement: Teachers play a crucial role in integrating national songs into the curriculum. Cognitive Connection: Singing national songs enhances students' emotional and cognitive ties to their country. Keyword: Nationalism, Education, National Songs, Character Development, Patriotism

Abstract

Elements of coding quality in medical records include reliability, completeness, validity, and timeliness. This analytical study, employing a quantitative approach, evaluated medical record files of patients with injuries and external cause cases at Ibnu Sina Hospital, Gresik, from October to December 2022. Using the Slovin formula, 161 samples were randomly selected from a population of 271 records. The study variables were reliability (diagnosis readability), completeness (diagnostic code completeness), and validity (5th digit use, diagnosis code accuracy, and external cause code accuracy). Data were analyzed using SPSS and the Chi-Square test. The study found significant relationships between the validity of diagnosis codes and the quality of medical records (p = 0.0001). Reliability showed no significant impact (p = 0.470), while completeness (p = 0.0001) and the use of the 5th digit (p = 0.0001) were significantly related to diagnosis code accuracy. These findings highlight the critical role of accurate coding in improving medical record quality and suggest targeted improvements in coding practices. Highlight: Significant Link: Diagnosis code accuracy is crucial for medical record quality. Critical Factors: Completeness and 5th digit use are key for accurate coding. Targeted Improvements: Focused coding practice enhancements can boost record quality. Keyword: coding quality, reliability, completeness, validity, medical records

Abstract

Pending BPJS claims delay hospital payments, with the guarantee unit playing a crucial role. This study analyzes risk management in the guarantee unit regarding pending inpatient claims using a qualitative approach and the FMEA method. Data from interviews, questionnaires, and BPJS claim confirmation sheets revealed four potential risks causing pending claims, with readmission potential as the highest priority (RPN score of 75). The proposed improvements include coordinating, socializing, and educating related units on the readmission concept. Implementing these strategies can reduce pending claims, ensuring timely BPJS payments to hospitals. Highlight: Identified four risks causing pending claims. Readmission risk prioritized (RPN score 75). Education and coordination proposed to reduce claims. Keyword: BPJS claims, risk management, guarantee unit, FMEA, readmission

Abstract

This quantitative study examines the relationship between work stress and employee performance in 'Aisyiyah Siti Fatimah Tulangan Sidoarjo Hospital, focusing on a sample of 83 married employees selected through simple random sampling from a total population of 187. Utilizing Likert scales for data collection and simple linear regression analysis for data analysis, the research finds no significant effect of work stress on employee performance (p = 0.799, α = 0.05). These results suggest a potential gap in understanding this relationship within the hospital setting and highlight the need for comprehensive management strategies to address various factors influencing employee performance. The findings underscore the importance of further research to explore potential moderators and mediators and inform effective interventions for enhancing employee well-being and productivity in healthcare organizations. Abstract

This qualitative study employs an explanatory case study methodology to unravel metaphor translation procedures, drawing from Peter Newmark's insights and Eugene Nida's translation equivalence theory. Unveiling a captivating dance between languages, the research showcases prevalent procedures such as replacing source language images with standard ones in the target language and converting metaphors into senses. The results illuminate how these techniques offer a distinct interpretation in the target language, ensuring a nuanced conveyance of the original message. A particularly enchanting aspect is the prevalence of dynamic equivalence, where numerous metaphors transform to present the essence in a fresh light without mimicking the source language. This deliberate departure from literal translation strives for a natural and evocative rendition, providing readers with a novel perspective on the narrative. In essence, this study takes readers on a concise yet compelling journey through the art of metaphorical translation, demonstrating how linguistic choices bridge cultural gaps while preserving the emotive essence of "Sad Girls." It offers a succinct window into the delicate balance between fidelity and creativity, showcasing the enriching possibilities that lie within the realm of cross-cultural literary translation.
