Abstract

General background of this research focuses on the use of medical record forms in inpatient clinics, particularly at the Afifa Prambon Clinic. Specific background indicates that the forms currently used may not meet expected standards, both in terms of physical, anatomical, and content aspects. Knowledge gap lies in the lack of comprehensive analysis of the compliance of these forms with Huffman's theory. The aim of this study is to analyze the design of medical record forms at the Afifa Clinic based on physical, anatomical, and content aspects. Results of the research show that the physical aspect of the form is inadequate, such as the use of paper material that easily tears, and the anatomical aspect also does not meet standards, including the absence of form numbers and filling instructions. The novelty of this study lies in identifying the elements that need improvement in the form design and providing recommendations for enhancements. The implication of this research emphasizes the importance of improving form design to enhance the quality of medical record filling, which in turn can contribute to better healthcare services in the clinic. Highlight: Role of Music: National songs serve as powerful tools for fostering patriotism among students. Teacher Involvement: Teachers play a crucial role in integrating national songs into the curriculum. Cognitive Connection: Singing national songs enhances students' emotional and cognitive ties to their country. Keyword: Nationalism, Education, National Songs, Character Development, Patriotism

Abstract

This study applies the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to qualitatively analyze the factors influencing coders' intentions in coding type 2 diabetes mellitus at a general hospital. Conducted from February to July 2023, data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with two outpatient coder officers. Findings indicate that coding background, officer acumen, workload, legibility of doctors' writing, availability of coding resources, data clarity, familial support, peer influence, and environmental factors significantly influence coders' intentions. Moreover, factors such as coder knowledge and experience, as well as opportunities for continuous learning, play pivotal roles. These findings underscore the importance of addressing various determinants to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency, thereby improving healthcare management and resource allocation. Highlights : Coders' intentions in coding T2DM elucidated through TPB analysis. Influential factors include coding background, workload, and availability of resources. Addressing determinants crucial for enhancing coding accuracy and healthcare efficiency. Keywords: TPB analysis, type 2 diabetes mellitus, outpatient coders, coding behavior, healthcare management

Abstract

This qualitative study employs an explanatory case study methodology to unravel metaphor translation procedures, drawing from Peter Newmark's insights and Eugene Nida's translation equivalence theory. Unveiling a captivating dance between languages, the research showcases prevalent procedures such as replacing source language images with standard ones in the target language and converting metaphors into senses. The results illuminate how these techniques offer a distinct interpretation in the target language, ensuring a nuanced conveyance of the original message. A particularly enchanting aspect is the prevalence of dynamic equivalence, where numerous metaphors transform to present the essence in a fresh light without mimicking the source language. This deliberate departure from literal translation strives for a natural and evocative rendition, providing readers with a novel perspective on the narrative. In essence, this study takes readers on a concise yet compelling journey through the art of metaphorical translation, demonstrating how linguistic choices bridge cultural gaps while preserving the emotive essence of "Sad Girls." It offers a succinct window into the delicate balance between fidelity and creativity, showcasing the enriching possibilities that lie within the realm of cross-cultural literary translation.

Abstract

AbstractIslamic boarding schools face serious challenges in the digital era. The characteristic of Islamic boarding schools which uphold traditional values is that they have to deal with modern technological developments. Mahasantri Lack of access to technology because they think it interferes with their focus on learning. The aim of this research is to describe Mahasantri's adaptation in the use of technology, the obstacles faced, and the benefits obtained in the learning process with technology at the Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were obtained from interviews with Kauman Lasem Islamic Boarding School caregivers, teachers and 4 Mahasantri, observations were made by observing and recording existing Mahasantri learning activities as well as policies on the use of technological tools permitted in Islamic boarding schools, documentation was obtained from official Islamic Boarding School documents. The research results show that the use of learning technology requires adaptation to the time for memorizing the Koran, the policy regarding limited use of technology has an impact on student Mahasantri who then have the initiative in carrying out assignments by not relying solely on laptop and gadget technology. The impact of this research is that Mahasantri have good time management skills. Adapting the use of technology in Islamic boarding schools as a learning support tool for Mahasantri, not replacing traditional values and Islamic teachings. Mahasantri have better digital skills to face challenges in the world of work in the digital era.

Abstract

Challenges in mathematics education are becoming increasingly complex, particularly in achieving a balance between students’ hard skills and soft skills. One crucial aspect of soft skills is self-esteem. This article aims to examine the relationship between self-esteem and students’ mastery of mathematical hard skills through a meta-synthesis approach. Data were collected from articles published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on self-esteem in the context of mathematics proficiency. The search strategy utilized the Publish or Perish software, Google Scholar, and the PRISMA 2020 framework. The analysis results indicate that self-esteem has a positive impact on the mastery of mathematical hard skills by fostering students’ confidence, creativity, and learning independence. This study highlights the importance of incorporating affective aspects—particularly self-esteem—into instructional strategies to optimally support students’ cognitive abilities

Abstract

General Background: Anemia during pregnancy remains a critical public health issue due to its impact on maternal and fetal health worldwide. Specific Background: In Sidoarjo District, 6.10% of pregnant women were reported to have anemia in 2022, caused by factors such as poor diet, inadequate nutritional status, and limited iron supplementation. Knowledge Gap: Few studies specifically investigate the combined role of dietary patterns and nutritional status in relation to anemia in localized community health settings. Aims: This study aims to analyze the relationship between dietary patterns, nutritional status, and anemia among pregnant women in the working area of Kepadangan Health Center. Results: Using a cross-sectional design with 20 respondents, the findings showed that 80% had poor dietary patterns, 77.8% had abnormal nutritional status, and 50% experienced anemia. Statistical analysis revealed significant associations between dietary patterns (p = 0.007) and nutritional status (p = 0.025) with anemia. Novelty: The study provides localized empirical evidence linking nutritional behavior and health outcomes in pregnancy within the Sidoarjo context. Implications: These findings highlight the importance of nutritional monitoring and dietary education for pregnant women, serving as a foundation for health policy interventions to reduce maternal anemia. Highlight: Poor dietary patterns strongly linked with anemia in pregnancy. Abnormal nutritional status significantly increases anemia risk. Nutritional monitoring and education are crucial preventive measures. Keywords: Anemia, Pregnancy, Dietary Patterns, Nutritional Status, Maternal Health
