Abstract

This descriptive research aims to identify the learning styles of grade 11 high school students in science major on chemistry learning and measure the level of optimization of teachers and students regarding the use of Augmented Reality-based chemistry learning media. This research was conducted on 9 chemistry teachers and 90 students majoring in science in Toraja Utara Regency. Data collection has been done using a closed-ended questionnaire with 4 choices consisting of 25 statements for chemistry teachers and 18 statements for science major students. The data were analyzed using a percentage formula and the results obtained showed that teachers had not optimized the use of Augmented Reality as a chemistry learning media. Furthermore, the most common learning style of students is visual, followed by kinesthetic and then auditory

Abstract

The digital transformation of Indonesian education post-pandemic has accelerated the integration of gamification as an innovative learning strategy in elementary schools. However, a critical gap persists between gamification implementation and teachers' digital pedagogical readiness, hindering deep learning optimization. This systematic literature review aims to analyze the role of digital pedagogical readiness in optimizing gamification for deep learning within Indonesian elementary education context. Using PRISMA framework, 28 peer-reviewed articles from Google Scholar, SINTA, DOAJ, ERIC, and ScienceDirect (2018-2025) were systematically analyzed through thematic analysis and CASP quality assessment. Findings reveal that Indonesian elementary school teachers' digital pedagogical readiness remains varied, with technological competence being the dominant factor affecting gamification effectiveness. A significant positive correlation exists between teachers' digital pedagogical readiness and gamification success in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. Cultural-contextual gamification strategies integrating local values show superior effectiveness compared to generic approaches. The study recommends a TPACK-based teacher training model integrated with Merdeka Mengajar Platform and phased implementation strategies considering infrastructure disparities. These findings provide practical implications for policymakers, school leaders, and teachers to optimize digital transformation in Indonesian elementary education through holistic readiness enhancement and culturally-responsive gamification design.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are a crucial pillar of the Indonesian economy, yet they often face fundamental obstacles in financial management, particularly in systematic financial recording. This study aims to develop a Simple Visual Accounting Education Module to increase financial recording awareness among SMEs in the God Bless Park and Moraya Fort historical tourism area in Tondano . This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), limited to the development stage. The module was designed based on User-Centered Design principles and the Dual Coding Theory, integrating visual elements such as illustrations, icons, and infographics to simplify abstract accounting concepts. Development involved 20 SME actors, from initial needs identification to final product testing. The results showed that the module was highly feasible and effective, with 71.4% of users rating it "Very Good" and 28.6% "Good" in the final trial. The visual approach significantly enhanced understanding, motivation, and confidence among SME actors in managing their business finances. Post-intervention, there was a notable behavioral shift from informal recording practices to systematic daily cash flow recording and simple profit-loss reporting. This study concludes that the visual accounting module is a practical, effective, and well-accepted educational medium. It serves not only as a learning tool but also as an instrument of local economic empowerment, bridging the financial literacy gap for SMEs with limited educational backgrounds.
