Abstract

About a third of children around the world begin their untimely breastfeeding. Although several strategies have been implemented around the world to improve complementary feeding, progress has been slow. Improper feeding of complementary foods remains a significant global public health problem. The purpose of this study aims to determine the use of leaflets as a health education media in increasing the knowledge of complementary food in breastfeeding mothers. The study is Quasi-Experimental. with Pretest-Posttest with a Control Group. The Accidental Sampling sampling technique is breastfeeding mothers who have babies aged 7-24 months as many as 53 mothers as an experimental group and 53 mothers as a control group with the same criteria at the Posyandu of Belang Wetan Village. Primary data were collected with questionnaires containing objective questions. Secondary data with cohorts from village midwives. A hypothesis test is carried out after the pre-test, to find out whether or not there is an influence between free and bound variables, then using a paired sample t-test or paired sample t-test. The results of the analysis obtained a p-value of 0.000 less than 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of health education methods using leaflet media and without using leaflet media on increasing knowledge that has a significant comparison of effectiveness. There is an influence of health education with leaflet media on increasing the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about complementary feeding of breast milk in infants aged 7-24 months

Abstract

By conducting a bibliometric analysis based on Scopus data from 2013 to 2023, this study provide a comprehensive overview of the research landscape concerning the interaction between moderate exercise and regular menstrual cycles in adolescents. This study aims to inform researchers, educators, clinicians, and policymakers about existing knowledge, identify research gaps, and guide future investigations. The Scopus database was utilized for data collection and analysis. The keywords used for the search included "exercise OR physical activity AND menstrual cycles AND adolescents".The Scopus website and VOS Viewer were utilized as the bibliometric analysis tools to conduct an analysis of the collected data. This analysis included examining the data distribution from the literature in Scopus, as well as visualizing the semantic network of documents. The consistent fluctuation in document numbers can be observed from year to year. The journal "Nutrients" continues to contribute up to the present time. Document distribution is predominantly in the field of medicine, followed by biochemistry and nursing. This collectively illuminates research evolution, source importance, and global collaboration in studying exercise's relation to the adolescent menstrual cycle. In conclusion, the continuous fluctuations, enduring input from "Nutrients," medical field's dominance in subject distribution, and the United States' pivotal role emphasize the urgency of investigating light exercise's link to menstrual cycles in adolescents due to its complexity.

Abstract

Background:Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) show that pregnant women experience anxiety by 8-10% during pregnancy, and it increases to 13% when they are about to give birth. The incidence of anxiety in pregnant women in Indonesia reaches 373,000, 28.7% of which anxiety occurs in pregnant women when facing childbirth. Sustained anxiety will increase the likelihood of cesarean section, prolonged second stage, asphyxia and affect fetal neurodevelopment and fetal cognitive. One of the physical exercises that can reduce anxiety is prenatal yoga. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the intensity of prenatal yoga participation on the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing childbirth in Kartasura District. Methods: Cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women who did prenatal yoga and did prenatal checkups at midwife Wulan, Anik Midwife Health House and Auliya Husada Clinic with a total population of 42 people. The research instrument used the Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale (PASS), and used univariate and bivariate data analysis with the Spearman test. Results: A total of 22 pregnant women who did not participate in prenatal yoga experienced severe anxiety by 54.6% (12 people), while of the 20 pregnant women who participated in prenatal yoga, most experienced mild anxiety by 50% (10 people). Based on statistical tests using the Spearman test, p-value <0.05 was obtained. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the intensity of prenatal yoga participation on the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing childbirth in Kartasura District.Suggestion: It is hoped that pregnant women who have not followed prenatal yoga regularly participate in prenatal yoga in order to reduce discomfort and anxiety.

Abstract

Abstract

Posyandu services were stopped during the Covid-19 pandemic, posyandu services were carried out independently with the implementation model being handed over to each region according to the conditions or covid zone of each region. The implementation of the posyandu must strictly comply with established health protocols to minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission. The initial survey conducted found that mothers were still worried about bringing their children to the posyandu. In addition, it was also found that at the time of implementing the posyandu there were still mothers who had not complied with the health protocols. This research is a descriptive study which aims to see the knowledge of mothers about the prevention of Covid-19 infection at the posyandu in Desa Kwala Bingei in 2020. The population of this study is all mothers who have toddlers and carry out posyandu with a total sample of 37 people. The results of the study found that the majority of respondents had less knowledge (65%) about the prevention of Covid-19 infection at the time of implementing the posyandu. From the results of this study, an activity in the form of health education to groups of mothers who have toddlers is needed which is related to increasing knowledge in preventing Covid-19 infection during the posyandu period, thereby reducing maternal anxiety of carrying posyandu children and posyandu activities to continue running smoothly according to health protocols.
