Abstract

Abstract This study investigates the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance in KUD Pakis, Malang Regency. The research variables consist of Motivation (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) as independent variables and Employee Performance (Y) as the dependent variable. The findings suggest that partial regression analysis indicates a significant influence of Motivation (X1) on Employee Performance (Y), while Work Discipline (X2) does not show a significant influence on Employee Performance (Y). Moreover, simultaneous regression analysis reveals that both Motivation (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) have a significant influence on Employee Performance (Y). Keywords: Motivation, Discipline, Performance, Partial Regression, Simultaneous Regression

Abstract

The position of the principle of legality in the realm of criminal law is very important, the principle of legality serves to determine whether an act can be punished or not. However, over time, the provisions of the principle of legality in the new paradigm of criminal law have been softened by accommodating laws that still apply in people's lives or customary law to determine whether someone should be punished. Then what becomes interesting to discuss in this article is the urgency of softening the principle of legality in the new paradigm of criminal law and the application of customary criminal law in the National Criminal Code. This article uses legal research by using a statutory approach, conceptual approach, and historical approach. The results of the study concluded that the softening of the principle of legality in the new paradigm of criminal law is a form of realization of protection for victims of criminal acts, the criminal acts in question are criminal acts that are not regulated by law but are contrary to the principles that still apply and develop in community life. The application of customary criminal law in the National Criminal Code will be compiled through regional regulations in accordance with the function of the regional regulation itself so that regional regulations can specifically regulate customary criminal provisions that apply in the region.

Abstract

The issue of preventing child marriage and marriage dispensation to provide child protection remains a crucial legal problem. This research aims to examine the legal reasoning in the rulings of Religious Court judges regarding marriage dispensation applications and to what extent these rulings provide child protection from the perspective of Maqāshid Al-Shari’ah. This study employs normative legal research methods and analyzes legal issues from the perspective of Maqāshid Al-Shari’ah. Data collection was conducted through a literature review. The findings indicate that the legal reasoning in the rulings of Religious Court judges has not fully aligned with the spirit of the Marriage Law, the Child Protection Law, and the Supreme Court Regulation on Marriage Dispensation, which aim to prevent child marriage. There is a dilemma among judges between efforts to prevent child marriage and the legal reality where the child applying for marriage dispensation has met urgent reasons and supporting evidence. Most of the rulings by Religious Court judges on marriage dispensation cases align with the main objectives of Islamic law (Maqāshid Al-Shari’ah), which are the protection of religion (hifz al-din), the protection of life (hifz al-nafs), the protection of lineage (hifz al-nasl), the protection of intellect (hifz al-aql), and the protection of property (hifz al-māl).

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of a new path of religious moderation developed by Haedar Nashir, a contemporary Muslim thinker. Haedar Nashir emphasized that religious moderation must be based on the universal values of Islam that are inclusive, humanist, and adaptive to the changing times. This concept is designed to answer the challenges of radicalism, intolerance, and secularism which are often obstacles in creating social harmony. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, referring to the works of Haedar Nashir and a literature review related to religious moderation. The results of the study show that religious moderation according to Haedar Nashir not only serves as a theological strategy, but also as a practical approach to build a harmonious and productive religious life. This concept involves three main pillars: the strengthening of Islamic values that are rahmatan lil 'alamin, the integration of local culture with Islamic values, and the active participation of the ummah in building civilization. With this approach, religious moderation can be an effective solution in creating a peaceful, inclusive, and just social order. The implication of this research is to enrich the study of religious moderation from the perspective of Haedar Nashir, who emphasizes the importance of making moderation a state of mind for the Indonesian nation. Then add references for academics in understanding the concept of Wasathiyah Islam applied in religious and national life.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic the news media played a central role in providing important information from governments, health authorities and expert sources to a wider audience to combat the Corona Virus and the information landscape in health literacy. Television is one of the mass media that has an important role as the main news provider for the wider community because news in the mass media actually has a quite crucial role in educating, creating awareness and informing all forms of valid information to the public. The focus of the current study aims to determine the effectiveness of local news Kompas TV on the need for information sources about Covid-19. This fact seeks to provide references in the academic and practical fields in understanding how much effectiveness local news Kompas TV has in meeting information needs regarding Covid-19. An explanatory quantitative approach with a positivism paradigm and data collection techniques through Google Form with a 7-point Likert scale measurement level are used in the current study. The purposive sampling technique was applied as a way of determining research respondents for the 2018 STIKOM InterStudi students with criteria as active viewers of local news regarding the development of the Covid-19 pandemic condition on the Kompas TV television station at least four times a week. Test instrument validity and reliability are used in the current research to determine the characteristics and level of consistency of data collection tools. The data analysis phase uses a simple regression analysis technique to determine the results of the proposed presumption hypothesis. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of local news Kompas TV has a significant effect on the need for public information sources about Covid-19 for students and active students of STIKOM InterStudi class 2018.

Abstract

The development of digitalization is something that has become a necessity in all levels of society and all fields of activity, including education. The use of technology for society is used to support activities. The dependence of society on the use of social media, through various social media tools such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and others, opens up new job opportunities related to technology and digitalization. Digitalization allows for wider relationships, so it is often used in the fields of marketing and production. Social media is a platform that allows its users to create, share, and participate in content. In this case, there is a need for legal recognition through counseling related to protection for content creator business actors. The increase in the use of social media by students then opens up new opportunities in pursuing a profession in the digital era, one of which is becoming a Content Creator. The content created is not only useful for the fields of production and marketing, but can also be useful for Education, where students can use it in relation to learning and Education. Content creation in the layman's view is considered easy, but in fact it is not, because a content creator needs to think about engagement, awareness, personal branding. With this understanding, it is necessary for students of MAN 13 South Jakarta to get an introduction to becoming a content creator and how to get legal protection in running the business, so that they do not experience obstacles in starting to create content.
