Abstract

The research aims to identify, describe, and analyze the form of using lexical cohesion of advertising discourse advertorial on the daily newspaper of Suara Merdeka, January edition. This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The subject of this research was a form of lexical cohesion of advertorial squared advertising discourse and the object of this research was a independent newspaper of Suara Merdeka edition January 2022. Data collection techniques are reading technique and recording technique the shape of lexical cohesion of advertorial advertising discourse on daily newspaper of Suara Merdeka edition January 2022. The results of this study prove that the form of lexical cohesion of advertising discourse advertorial in the form of reps, synonyms, antonyms, and hyponyms.

Abstract

The study aims to identify and describe social reality in the Salah Piknik’s poetry collection books by Joko Pinurbo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The object in this research is Salah Piknik’s poetry collection books by Joko Pinurbo. Data collection techniques in this research is reading and note-taking. The results showed that there was a social reality was found related to the social reality of technology and information, social reality of people living in the pandemic, social reality of society in the country, and social reality in the family. Social reality in the Salah Piknik’s poetry collection books by Joko Pinurbo occurs through three dialectical moments namely externalization, objectivation, and internalization.

Abstract

The background of this research is cultural acculturation that can occur in various forms and causes. It can be in the form of language, cultural activities, and others. Showing cultural acculturation is one of the activities of maintaining culture. Through the novel, a writer can include elements of cultural acculturation of an area so that it can be learned from it cultural acculturation that occurs between two cultures. The novel entitled Lakuna by Khrisna Pabichara (2021) is one of the novels that contains the acculturation of Bugis and Makassar cultures. This study aims to describe the acculturation of Bugis and Makassar cultures in this novel. The approach used in this study is Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach in the form of qualisigns. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. The data collection technique used is the read and record technique. The results showed that there were signs of acculturation of Bugis and Makassar qualisign cultures, namely 6 quotations that showed differences in the quality of a person based on noble blood and non-nobles which were included in one of the cultural customs of the Bugis Tribe, namely the distinguishing custom or custom of propriety.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Pertama, mengidentifikasi cerita rakyat yang ada di Kabupaten Pemalang. Kedua, menganalisis pembentukan karakter dari cerita rakyat Kabupaten Pemalang pada anak. Lokasi dan tempat yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini di Kabupaten Pemalang Jawa Tengah. Beberapa alasan yang menjadi pertimbangan karena pentingnya pembentukan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal dalam cerita rakyat. Cerita rakyat yang berkembang di kecamatan Belik Kabupaten Pemalang adalah Asal Usul Nama Gombong, Gunung Tiga, Kali Sirah, Misteri Gunung Mendelem, Mahkota Raden Ali Basah, Desa Badak, yang berhasil diidentifikasi dari narasumber. Cerita rakyat yang teridentifikasi dapat dipastikan mengandung nilai pendidikan karakter sebagai ajaran hidup hidup untuk pembentukan karakter lingkungan dan masyarakat sekitar.Kata kunci : kearifan lokal, cerita rakyat, karakter anak .

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar e-Modul dasting berbasis Flipbook untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap mengikuti rancangan 4-D model dari Thiagarajan yang meliputi 1) define, 2) design, 3) development, dan 4) disemination. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Semester 5 FKIP, Universitas Peradaban. Selanjutnya, kegiatan pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil pengujian bahan ajar e-Modul Dasting Berbasis Flipbook layak dan valid digunakan. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi dinyatakan sangat valid dengan prosentase 87,2%, hasil uji validasi ahli bahasa dengan prosentase 88.3%. dan hasil validasi dari ahli media sebesar 88%. Sementara itu, terkait dengan uji kepraktisan e-modul Dasting berbasis flipbook dalam kegiatan pembelajaran diperoleh hasil 82.53%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Kata kunci: e-modul, dasting, flipbook, penyuntingan

Abstract

Tindak tutur ekspresif adalah jenis tindak tutur yang bekerja untuk mengungkapkan sikap psikologis terhadap suatu situasi. Novel Dosenku Suamiku merupakan novel yang mengandung pendidikan, cinta, cinta, dan kesetiaan, sehingga sangat menarik untuk dipelajari dan dijadikan sebagai contoh pembelajaran novel di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan tindak tutur ekspresif melalui tokoh. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa ujaran-ujaran para tokoh dalam novel tersebut. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik membaca dan mencatat.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur ekspresif dalam novel My Lecturer My Husband terdiri dari tindak tutur ekspresif berupa: a) meminta maaf dalam rangka melakukan kesalahan; b) mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih dalam rangka ucapan terima kasih atas perbuatan baik penuturan; c) memuji dalam memuji kecantikan dan ketampanan pembicara; d) menyalahkan dalam konteks menyalahkan teman karena mengikuti saran yang salah; e) protes dalam rangka menolak perjodohan; f) objek dalam rangka objek sebagai chamois kering; f) berlagak dalam rangka diberi tugas ganda oleh dosen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kekerasan verbal dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri terhadap tokoh perempuan yang bernama Mei. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer berupa cerpen yang berjudul Rembulan Terakhir Karya Hofifah Nur’aini tahun terbit 2021, Banyumas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik baca dan catat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam cerpen Rembulan Terakhir Karya Hofifah Nur’aini ditemukan adanya bentuk-bentuk kekerasan verbal, meliputi 1) menghina, 2) memaki, dan berkata tidak pantas seperti goblok dan anjir. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri terhadap tokoh perempuan, seperti 1) faktor kondisi fisik, yaitu kebutaan, 2) faktor kecerdasan, yaitu kesulitan dalam belajar, 3) faktor keadaan keluarga, yaitu anggota keluarga yang masih lengkap dan 3) faktor kondisi ekonomi keluarga, kebutuhan ekonomi yang memadai. Kata kunci: cerpen, kekerasan verbal, tokoh perempuan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education values contained in the short story anthology Merajut Diri dalam Lukisan Cakrawala by Aos Mutqin, et al. The research was designed using a qualitative approach. The data were collected using the reading and note-taking method and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that there are 12 character education values in the short story anthology Merajut Diri dalam Lukisan Cakrawala, including (1) respect for achievement, (2) friendship (3) honesty, (4) religion, (6) discipline. (7) curiosity, (8) love peace, (9) social care, (10) creativity (11) independence, (12) love to read. Keywords: character, short story, anthology, educational value.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the toponymic aspects of village names in Bantarkawung District, Brebes Regency. The approach used is an anthropolinguistic study, namely the toponymic aspect of village names. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The techniques of data collection used were observation and interview techniques. This research instrument uses triangulation techniques. The results of the research found that in Bantarkawung District, Brebes Regency there are three toponymic aspects of village names, namely: 1) the embodiment aspect which is divided into three parts including water background, topographic background and natural environmental background, there are eight villages, namely: Bantarkawung Village, Bantarwaru Village , Cibentang Village, Ciomas Village, Cinanas Village, Legok Village, Tambakserang Village, and Telaga Village; 2) the social aspect, namely the naming of villages taken from the names of previous figures who had positions in society, there are three villages, namely: Jipang Village, Terlaya Village, and Waru Village; 3) cultural aspects related to folklore and community belief systems in seven villages, namely: Bangshadow Village, Banjarsari Village, Karangpari Village, Kebandungan Village, Pangebatan Village, Pengarasan Village, Sindangwangi Village. Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the structure of comics found in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. This type of research is qualitative. The research method used is descriptive. The data collection techniques used are reading, noting, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show the comic strip structure found in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The character structure found is 26 characters in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The plot structure found is 9 linear plots and 1 mixed plot in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The theme and moral structure found is 8 themes and 11 morals in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The structure of the comic strip in terms of images and language found is that the characters in the comics are depicted as humans, while the language aspect consists of narratives, words in thought balloons and speech balloons, as well as sound effects.
