Abstract

Modify the palm fruit thresher machine into a thresher model dry split betel nut peeler by testing the tool so that it can find out the constraints of the palm fruit thresher machine, and disassembling the components or parts to be modified, namely; cover, collection channel, blade and drive clutch. The cover is designed to function to be sturdy from the impact of areca nuts and is cylindrical. The reservoir channel is designed to allow the peeled betel nut to enter the drain pipe and the blower is in charge of blowing between the peeled betel nut and the seeds. The blade is designed to peel the dry split betel nut. The drive clutch is designed to function as a connector/breaker for the engine rotation to the shaft and plain concrete iron and bearings as a v-belt retainer. In the test with a capacity of 50 kg 1 day drying, peeled 40 kg and unpeeled 10 kg with an average time of 15 minutes is the best test. Therefore, we can conclude that the best peeling results from this dry split betel nut peeler machine are almost 80% peeled.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Wae Codi Village, West Cibal District, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Village Consultative Body in Wae Codi Village, West Cibal District, Manggarai Regency. The type of research used in this study is a descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and study documentation. The results of the research carried out show that the role of the Village Consultative Body in the Village Government institution in Wae Codi Village, West Cibal District, Manggarai Regency has not run optimally according to the applicable laws and regulations. In this case, the legal basis used by the researcher refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 110 of 2016 concerning the Village Consultative Body. Through the facts found by researchers in the field related to the role of BPD in Wae Codi Village, it has not run optimally with several obstacles hampering BPD performance, namely (1) Facilities and infrastructure; (2) BPD members who do not understand the function; (3) The community does not understand the scope of the BPD; and (4) There is no socialization from the government regarding the existence of BPD in Village Government institutions.

Abstract

Customary law is an unwritten law regarding regulations that govern the life of a community and its existence will still be adhered to by people who believe in it even though these regulations are not stipulated by the authorized institution. The purposes of this study are to: To determine the process of implementing the distribution of inheritance that occurs in the family and in the Karo community. To find out what obstacles women face in the distribution of inheritance in the household and community in Karo, and to find out the position of women of the Karo tribe in the inheritance distribution system. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and document recording. The research subjects were determined by purposive sampling technique, the research subjects were; Traditional Leaders, Head of Manuk Mulia Village, and Community Leaders. Research Results: Community inheritance system in Manuk Mulia Village, Implementation of Karo customary law in the distribution of inheritance and the position of Batak Karo women in the inheritance distribution system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses Kawin Tungku dalam budaya Masyarakat Manggarai di Paroki Kristus Raja Pagal, untuk mengetahui mengapa Masyarakat Manggarai masih ada yang Kawin Tungku dan untuk mengetahui proses Gereja Katolik memahami dan menyikapi Kawin Tungku. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Kawin tungku budaya masyarakat manggarai yang ada sejak dahalu, budaya kawin tungku ini adalah pernikahan yang terjadi antara anak dari saudara kandung maupun saudara jauh. Tujuan dari kawin tungku pada masyarakat Manggarai adalah memperat hubungan keluarga agar tidak putus. Dari penelitian tersebut Adapun hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah proses kawin tungku pada masyarakat manggarai di paroki kristus raja pagal itu melalui 2 tahap inti, pra pemingan dan peminagan. Pandangan gereja dalam memahami dan menyikapi budaya kawin tungku, didalam aturan gereja katolik melarang adanya perkawinan sedarah dan gereja memberikan dispensasi bagi pasangan yang melaksanakn perkawinan tungku ini. Alasan dasar masyarakat melaksanakan kawin tungku atas keinginan dari diri sendiri tanpa adanya paksaan dari kedua orangtua mereka. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam perkawinan tungku ialah nilai kekerabatan.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: - Students in the Informatics Management Study Program at Universitas Merdeka Madiun must complete a Final Project (TA) as part of their graduation requirements. However, choosing a project topic that matches their interests and abilities can be difficult. To help solve this problem, a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) was developed using the Weighted Sum Model (WSM). This study focuses on designing and developing a system to assist students in selecting appropriate final project topics more efficiently and objectively. The WSM method is used to assess several theme options based on a set of established criteria. The system was built using the Waterfall development model, which involves analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Black Box Testing was conducted to verify the system's functionality. The application supports two user roles: administrators and students. Administrators manage the system’s data, including criteria, theme options, evaluations, and user accounts. Students can view recommended project topics and update their profiles. Testing showed a 100% success rate, indicating the system’s reliability. By using this DSS, students can make more informed decisions about their final project themes, improving both the selection process and the overall quality of their research through the use of educational technology.
