Abstract

Sumberarum Village, Magelang Regency, holds great tourism potential with its natural hot springs, which remain underutilized. The main challenges include the lack of integrated digital information and limited digital marketing skills among the local community. This community service initiative aims to develop sustainable tourism potential through the creation of a village website and the evaluation of hot spring water quality. The approach includes developing a village website at desasumberarum.id as a centralized tourism information hub and measuring water quality parameters at four hot spring locations: Umbul Banyu Roso, Tirta Madu Barokah, Tirta Sambara, and Azzira Tirta Gemilang. Results indicate that the village website significantly improves information accessibility and supports digital tourism promotion. Additionally, water quality tests reveal that all parameters, including pH and alkalinity, fall within safe thresholds, suggesting potential health benefits of the hot spring water for visitors.

Abstract

Borobudur Temple is one of the five Indonesian super-priority destinations targeted to be the "New Bali." Wanurejo tourist village is one of the areas affected by this and is considered a buffer zone to develop. Therefore, skilled human resources are required in the use of digital technology, especially social media, to be able to promote tourism destinations extensively and to increase tourism visits. This study compared and analyzed Wanurejo tourism village activists' social media literacy levels based on socioeconomic circumstances, particularly age. In order to acquire the data, a questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. The 87 respondents who were Wanurejo tourism village activists make up the sample for this study. Data analyses were performed using descriptive and differences analysis. The findings demonstrated that the most popular social media platforms for communication, promotion, and information retrieval were WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Additionally, Wanurejo tourism village activists had moderate social media literacy (71.58), characterized mainly by technical mastery. Based on the characteristics of the respondents, younger tourism village activists had a better level of social media literacy than older ones. According to the latest education, a higher education level was associated with greater social media literacy. As for the aspect of gender, income, and work experience, there were no notable differences in social media literacy. Therefore, strengthening social media literacy to support tourism promotion needs to be focused on millennials and highly educated tourism village activists.

The study aims to analyse the level of social productivity of Islamic Banks in Indonesia and the determinants of it. Abstract

Community-based tourism development in Wanurejo Tourism Village demonstrates significant potential for enhancing well-being, preserving culture, and supporting local economic sustainability. This study aims to analyze communication barriers that cause disintegration in the Pentahelix collaboration for tourism development in Wanurejo Tourism Village, which serves as a buffer village for the Borobudur National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN). The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through Forum Group Discussions. The results indicate that despite the implementation of the Pentahelix model, optimal synergy and collaboration have not been achieved due to (1) a lack of communication accommodation, (2) overlapping roles and responsibilities among institutions, (3) unhealthy competition among tourism stakeholders, and (4) a lack of sustained involvement from the central and regional governments. This disintegrative communication negatively impacts the effectiveness of collaboration and community participation. This research suggests integration strategies that include enhancing inclusive communication, technology-based training, developing digital platforms, and policy reforms that support sustainable collaboration.
