Abstract

This research aims to describe how the empowerment process of ornamental plant cultivation in Banyorang Village, Tompobulu District, Bantaeng Regency and how economic values and social values are in empowering ornamental plants for family life. In the explanation of this journal, the type of research is a qualitative research that uses descriptive analysis methods while the data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that: Forms of community empowerment through ornamental plant cultivation in Banyorang Village, Tompobulu District, Bantaeng Regency, including community hobby background, community enthusiasm for PKK programs on cultivation, community actions, for sustainable cultivation. Economic value and social value in empowering ornamental plants for family life, including: economic value, social value.

Abstract

The contribution of the makjene-jene harvest party tradition is a classic for the activities of the Siawung Barru community. This type of research is qualitative by using a communication approach and a sociological approach. The data sources for this research are traditional leaders, community leaders, mosque imams, and youth leaders and books related to this research. While the method of data collection is done by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the Makjene-jene tradition must still be carried out because if the harvest party ceremony is not carried out it will get a disaster and strange things will occur. Therefore, this tradition is still carried out because it is a rejection of reinforcements. The harvest party tradition is still celebrated because it is a place that can increase social relations and solidarity that has been carried out by all levels of society. While the implementation of the Makjene-jene tradition is a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the success of the harvest.

Abstract

Ecotourism development strategy through community participation in the form of community participation. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a sociological approach which is located at the Topejawa beach tourist attraction, Topejawa Village, Mangarabombang District, Takalar Regency. The sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and then drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that community participation plays a very important role in developing ecotourism on the coast of Tojawa. Starting from the proposal of policies and expectations from the community to increase their economic income is a gift for some people who can work in these tourist attractions, community participation in the field of facilities and infrastructure is very influential. The community as labor is the spearhead of a job, especially for this tourist attraction which requires quite a lot of energy and hard work in it.

Abstract

This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type located at the Loka Bina Karya Pallangga Building in Gowa Regency. The primary data sources of this study are the Head of Social Services and Rehabilitation, the Chairman of the Indonesian Disabled Persons Association of Gowa Regency, and the community of persons with disabilities. The secondary data sources are books, theses, journals, literature, and other data sources that can be used as complements. The data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of this study, there are five stages of empowering people with disabilities carried out by the Social Services Department of Gowa Regency, namely Social Rehabilitation Guidance, Resocialization Guidance, Evaluation (Monitoring), Termination, and Follow-up Guidance. The supporting factors in the empowerment of people with disabilities through life skills training by the Social Services Department of Gowa Regency are complete facilities and infrastructure, as well as trained human resources. The inhibiting factors are differences in educational and intellectual backgrounds and ethical or psychological factors of people with disabilities. The implications of this study are expected to encourage the Social Services Department of Gowa Regency to improve and maintain empowerment activities for people with disabilities that are comfortable and make them feel treated equally with non-disabled people. Additionally, it is hoped that they can increase the types of skills training for people with disabilities if their number increases, so they have more options to choose which skill field they want to enter. This will help to increase the number of people with disabilities in Gowa Regency who have not been empowered, giving them the opportunity to be empowered and employed well according to their conditions, thus producing more creative and independent people with disabilities.

Abstract

This Thesis Discusses “The Impact Of Understanding The Tajul Al-Khalwatiyah Tarekat Teachings On The Community In Timbuseng Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency,” With The Aim Of Finding Out: 1) The Essence And Practice Of The Impact Of Understanding The Tajul Al-Khalwatiyah Tarekat Teachings In Timbuseng Village, And 2) The Community's Attitude Towards The Impact Of Understanding The Teachings. This Study Uses A Qualitative Method With Informants From The Timbuseng Village Community And Followers Of The Tarekat. The Results Of The Study Show That The Tajul Al-Khalwatiyah Teachings Emphasize The Concept Of Wihdatul Wujud, Namely The Belief That Only Allah Truly Exists. This Teaching Also Includes The Use Of Verses From The Qur'an, The Three Creeds, And The View That Allah Is Present During Prayer. The Community Gave Various Responses To This Teaching, With Some Feeling Disturbed By Religious Practices That Were Considered To Deviate From Traditional Islamic Teachings. This Study Highlights The Importance Of Tolerance And Correct Understanding Of Religion To Maintain Social Harmony, As Well As Reminding Us Of The Dangers Of Understanding That Deviates From The Teachings Of The Religion They Adhere To.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to empower the community through palm sugar production in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency? The sub-problems in this study are: First, the stages of community empowerment in making palm sugar in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency? Second, economic improvement in palm sugar production in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used are through interviews, documentation and direct observation in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency. The data sources for this study are secondary and primary data. The results of the study show that: First, the stages of community empowerment in making palm sugar in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency, especially palm farmers, are as follows: (a) The process of collecting palm sap (b) Making palm sugar (c) Marketing (d) Government assistance and support. Second, economic improvement in palm sugar production in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency, especially palm farmers, that palm sugar production generally contributes positively to improving the local economy. Community empowerment through (training, and equipment assistance, as well as development of production and marketing management) is an important factor in improving the quality and quantity of palm sugar production, which ultimately has an impact on increasing community income. The implications of this study are expected to the government, both the village secretary, the hamlet head and welfare (Administration) to play a more active role and facilitate the community in community empowerment through palm sugar production in Rannaloe Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency
