Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk melihat sejauh mana implementasi kebijakan BOS Buku ditinjau dari sumber anggaran untuk penyediaan buku; (2) untuk menganalisis hambatan/masalah yang ada dari implementasi kebijakan BOS buku; dan (3) untuk mencari dan memberikan solusi terhadap hambatan-hambatan tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara terbatas pada 15 sekolah dasar pada empat kecamatan di kota Depok. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mixed method) dengan cara pengambilan data melalui survei dan kuesioner deskriptif. Analisis yang telah digunakan adalah dengan persentase dan deskriptif kualitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel tunggal yaitu implementasi kebijakan pemerintah mengenai BOS Buku. Hasil Penelitian mencakup tiga hal utama. Pertama, bahwa sumber anggaran untuk penyediaan buku di sekolah berasal dari BOS Reguler, APBD, orangtua siswa, dan sponsor untuk sekolah swasta. Dalam implementasinya, sebanyak 8 sekolah (53%) menyatakan anggaran tersebut cukup dan 7 sekolah (46,6%) menyatakan sebaliknya. Kedua, masalah yang ada dalam implementasi kebijakan BOS Buku  adalah ketersediaan buku yang tidak mencukupi dengan rasio 1 buku : 1 siswa, proses pelaporan administrasi BOS yang rumit, dan dana BOS pada implementasinya mengalami keterlambatan. Terakhir, peneliti memberikan solusi terhadap masalah-masalah yang ada kepada berbagai pihak terkait, pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, sekolah, orang tua siswa, dan penerbit/agen buku.

Abstract

Workplace is a place that students will enter after graduating from college. The many problems in the world of work make prospective workers must be more mature in planning careers in order to be able to face various challenges in the world of work. Knowledge about career planning is needed for prospective workers, including final year students of the Pertiwi Tourism Academy. One way to strengthen students about career planning is with lecture techniques accompanied by game techniques. The mentorship was attended by 21 eighth semester students of Pertiwi Tourism Academy. After the mentorship was carried out, the results showed that 61.4% of participants felt more inspired and had career planning after graduation.

Abstract

Hubungan Penggunaan Media Gadget Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Depok: Misbah Fikrianto dan Jaenal Abidin, Program Studi Magister Teknologi Pendidikan-Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Hubungan Penggunaan Media Gadget terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Bojong sari Depok , 2) Hubungan Motivasi Belajar secara Bersama-sama dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Bojong sari Depok, 3) Hubungan Penggunaan Media Gadget Dan Motivasi Belajar secara Bersama-sama dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar di SMP Bojong sari Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian jenis kuantitafif, dengan metode survey dan teknik korelasional, metode yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan hubungan antar variabel yang diteliti dan hubungan antar variabel yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMP Bojongsari di Kota Depok yang berjumlah 558 siswa kelas VII di SMP Muara Ilmu, SMP Al-Maarif dan SMP Darul Ulum. Adapun pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan sampling total. Intrumen nya terdiri dari tiga: 1) Instrumen untuk hasil belajar bahasa indonesia, 2) Instrument untuk pengguunaan mediaberbasis gadjet, dan 3) Instrument untuk mengukur motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian 1) Terdapat hubungan positif antara Penggunaan media berbasis Gadjet dengan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VII 46,8% 2) Terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VII 58,4%. 3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara Penggunaan media berbasis Gadjet dan motivasi belajar bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VII. 48,8%.

Abstract

Language plays a crucial role in the educational environment, whether in schools or universities. Besides the national language, students are also exposed to regional and foreign languages to enhance their language proficiency. Teaching foreign languages encompasses a wide range of options, such as English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Moreover, languages affiliated with ASEAN countries, like Malay, Thai, and Indonesian, have gained popularity. This study employs a descriptive approach to elucidate the findings regarding the interest in learning Indonesian among students in ASEAN nations. Conducted by SEAMEO ASEAN, the research draws its primary data from questionnaires and presentations submitted in September 2022. Participating ASEAN countries in this SEAMEO initiative encompass Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam and analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis. The study reveals a notable demand for Indonesian language learning among students from ASEAN countries. Indonesian is pursued for various purposes, including professional, socio-cultural, and personal development. Recognizing the interest in Indonesian among ASEAN students provides a foundation for the implementation of Indonesian as a foreign language through the BIPA program. There has not been much research on the interest of Indonesian language among students at the ASEAN level, therefore this research is included in the initial research on Indonesian language internationalization policies starting from the ASEAN level

Abstract

Increasing teacher competency must be carried out continuously. Teachers are an important component in implementing learning. In the Merdeka curriculum, the term Differentiated Learning is known. Differentiated learning is learning that recognizes students' differences in terms of interest, readiness to learn and motivation. Differentiated learning maximizes learning according to students' abilities. In differentiated learning, students are given assignments according to their abilities, interests and preferences, so that they can maximize their potential which leads to increased learning outcomes and motivation. Differentiated Learning Training was carried out at the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School with 20 teachers participating. This activity provides benefits for teachers at the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School (SIKK). Differentiated learning also builds cooperation between students and increases their independence in learning. The training was held for 3 days from July 31 to August 2 2024. Training participants received 90% satisfaction with the material. The implementation of this training strengthens the quality of teachers and the school ecosystem.

Abstract

Increasing student competency is a process to provide complete knowledge, attitudes and skills. Based on the condition of students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University, around 95% require increased competency in the field of Journalism. The number of students in the Guidance and Counseling study program is 183 students, the number of students in the English Language Education study program is 111 students, and the number of students in the Master of Educational Technology study program is 237 students. The problem faced is: How to empower students through increasing journalistic competency? How do we provide increased competency which includes: The basics of journalism, the process of writing for the media, Journalism Professional Ethics, and others. Empowering students in the field of journalism can add contributors to news writing, activity coverage, and others. Publications in the process of education, learning, training and student activities are very important. This creates strategic potential for turning students into young journalists. The student empowerment program was continued by collaborating with the Indonesian Muslim Journalist Brotherhood (PJMI) for follow-up activities. The results of student empowerment will provide benefits to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Asysyafi'iyah Islamic University.

Abstract

Educators or teachers in carrying out innovation and creativity in quality learning are one of the important components in improving the quality of education in the current era of rapidly developing technology. Community Service activities carried out in the form of online counseling aim to increase teachers' insight in understanding students' character identification and encouraging their enthusiasm for learning, understanding learning strategies based on the character and learning styles of elementary level students, and understanding teaching innovations and building enjoyable classes. The target audience for this Community Service activity is teachers, lecturers and prospective teachers throughout Indonesia, totaling 288 participants. This extension activity is carried out in the form of a lecture method with presentation media. The stages carried out in this extension activity include: preparation, socialization and implementation. As a result of this outreach activity, 81.3% of participants felt they had an idea of ​​teaching innovation and building enjoyable classes based on a poll conducted after the presentation of the material.

Abstract

Competency development is an effort made to improve the quality of human resources. Intensive competency improvement is carried out to provide added value to something that is done. Public Relations and Cooperation Training is a need for institutions and human resources, especially in government institutions. SEAMEO QITEP In Language together with the Riau Islands Provincial Teacher Mobilization Center carried out public relations and cooperation training from 18-20 April 2024 in Batam City. This activity was attended by around 60 participants, consisting of elements from the SEAMEO Centre in Indonesia, the Center for Teacher Mobilization, the Education Service, and public relations practitioners. At the start, the need to receive this training was 75%. After training, participants receive an increase in competency and benefits of 95%. This activity aims to increase competence in the field of public relations and cooperation in Indonesia. All participants gave positive responses to this training and provided recommendations for continuing the training. The organizing committee will provide continued support and development for this activity. Participants get benefits from building cooperation to increase the competence of teachers, education staff, human resources in the field of Public Relations, and Collaboration Teams.

Abstract

The implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education is carried out holistically and sustainably. All processes carried out in the Tridharma of Higher Education support the achievement of learning objectives. The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Asy-syafi'iyah Islamic University carries out FKIP Expo activities as an effort to improve the quality of learning at the end of the semester, a place for alumni meetings, and to improve strategies for accepting new students. The implementation of the FKIP Expo provides enrichment from various aspects of education. This activity was attended by 97 students, 15 lecturers and 3 education staff. FKIP Expo activities consist of educational talk shows, exhibitions of works on technology and media subjects, predicted TOEFL tests, counseling services, artistic performances, and others. This activity presented three speakers, including: Rini Anita Putri, Nurul Hasanah Fajaria, and Shilmi. FKIP Expo activities involve the entire academic community including: Lecturers, Students and Education Staff. Achievement of learning quality in the Guidance and Counseling, English Language Education, and Master of Educational Technology study programs. Empowering the Academic Community at the FKIP Expo to improve the quality of learning. Based on the results of observations, 85% of participants stated that they were useful and satisfied with the FKIP EXPO activities The process of improving the quality of learning is a whole activity from learning planning, implementation, to learning assessment.

Abstract

Bullying telah menjadi masalah serius selama bertahun-tahun di Indonesia dan berdampak pada berbagai lapisan masyarakat, khususnya di sektor pendidikan. Fenomena ini melibatkan tindakan agresi fisik, verbal, atau sosial yang berulang-ulang yang dilakukan  oleh individu atau kelompok terhadap korban yang dianggap lebih lemah dari dirinya. Penanganan dan pencegahan bullying perlu dilakukan agar tidak semakin meluas. Art therapy terbukti dapat mereduksi trauma pada korban bullying dan juga dapat mencegah bullying teknik. Eco Art Therapy dipilih sebagai tema penyuluhan dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di sekolah. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilakukan di Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah Jakarta. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling dan guru BK di Bekasi yang berjumlah 50 peserta. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan dua metode, yakni metode presentasi dan praktik Eco Art Therapy. Setelah materi dan praktik Eco Art Therapy dilaksanakan, peserta kembali mengisi survey mengenai gambaran peserta mengenai strategi pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di sekolah. Dari hasil polling kedua setelah pelaksanaan penyuluhan, didapatkan hasil bahwa 63,6% peserta merasa lebih memiliki gambaran mengenai strategi pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di sekolah.
