Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengases perkembangan kognitif anak usia 4 tahun, dengan fokus pada seorang anak di Raudhatul Athfal Perwanida Al-Ikhlas Kota Gorontalo. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan single case research. Teknik penggumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan pemeriksaan catatan perkembangan sebagai instrumen pengumpul data. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui proses pengkodean dan tematik. Hasil analisis digunakan untuk menyusun profil perkembangan kognitif anak. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa hasil asesmen pengetahuan dengan intervensi yang diberikan guru dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas kognitif mulai dari mengenali huruf, angka, dan warna diperoleh hasil berkembang sangat baik. Selanjutnya pada asesmen kinerja difokuskan pada kemampuan dalam menyusun puzzle, memecahkan masalah sederhana, dan mengikuti instruksi guru diperoleh hasil berkembang sesuai harapan. Teknik asesmen yang diterapkan mencakup observasi, skala capaian perkembangan harian anak (checklist), dan hasil karya. Ketika anak berhasil menyelesaikan tugas atau aktivitas sesuai dengan indikator yang telah ditetapkan, guru memberikan penilaian berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Dengan demikian guru dalam merancang program pembelajaran untuk usia 4 tahun dapat lebih ditekankan pada kegiatan kreatif dan pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, memberikan stimulus yang sesuai dan tantangan tambahan dalam area-area dimana anak menunjukkan keunggulan dapat memperkaya pengalaman kognitifnya. Penguatan positif dan dukungan dalam mengembangkan minat anak dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk memaksimalkan potensinya dalam perkembangan kognitif secara optimal

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of assessment in the Merdeka Curriculum for measuring learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SDN 6 Pulubala, Gorontalo Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that three types of assessments—diagnostic, formative, and summative—are applied. Diagnostic assessments help determine students’ initial competencies, formative assessments guide the learning process, and summative assessments evaluate learning achievements. Teachers have also developed instructional modules and lesson plans aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. The appropriate implementation of these assessments has proven effective in enhancing the quality of learning and supporting students in achieving holistic educational goals. This study contributes to the discourse on curriculum implementation and serves as a practical reference for improving assessment practices in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Kometika, a board game, on media and numeracy literacy, as well as its impact on the learning outcomes of students whose scope is limited to Madrasah Tsanawiyah. There are some problems related to numeracy literacy learning in Islamic schools (madrasahs), some of which are the result of Asesmen Kompetensi Madrasah Indonesia (AKMI) and the low interest in numeracy literacy, which affects the low learning output. The research method employed was a quantitative experiment utilizing treatment-by-level designs. The findings showed that the average scores of students who studied using the Kometika board game media were higher than those of students without the Kometika board game media. The numeracy literacy interest of students who studied using the Kometika board game media was higher than that of those who studied without it. There was an interaction effect between the use of Kometika board game media and students' interest in numeracy literacy in relation to the learning outcomes. This means that Kometika board game media and numeracy literacy interest are interdependent and affect learning outcomes; therefore, support from related stakeholders, such as the head of the madrasah and teachers, is urgently needed. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of educational media and numeracy literacy, particularly within the context of Islamic education institutions. The research expands current pedagogical strategies aimed at improving numeracy skills among Madrasah Tsanawiyah students.

Abstract

This research aims to find out (1) what forms of bullying behavior exist at MTs Muhammadiyah Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency (2) teachers' strategies for dealing with bullying behavior at MTs Muhammadiyah Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency (3) supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers in overcoming bullying behavior at MTs Muhammadiyah Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. The method used is a qualitative method and a descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that at MTs Muhammadiyah Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency, there are two forms of bullying behavior, the first is verbal bullying, such as mocking each other, isolating each other, making fun of friends by calling their parents' names, and saying rude things to each other. The two physically abused each other, such as pulling shirt collars, pushing and hitting each other. The teacher's strategy in dealing with bullying behavior is providing supervision, providing class-based and non-class character strengthening or what is called P5, giving advice or appeals and giving punishment. Then the supporting factors are that students want to report, there is awareness of students in participating in the character strengthening program (P5), while the inhibiting factors for teachers are that students tend to be silent and do not want to report to the teacher, students are difficult to advise and do not want to listen to the teacher, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the psychometric quality of a teacher-constructed English final examination test for Grade X students at Senior High School in Sungai Penuh using the framework of Item Response Theory (IRT). The analysis focused on evaluating model fit, item difficulty, and item discrimination parameters across the 1-Parameter Logistic (1-PL) and 2-Parameter Logistic (2-PL) models. Data was collected from students’ responses to 40 multiple-choice items and analyzed using RStudio. The goodness-of-fit results revealed that the 2-PL model provided a better representation of the data, with 36 items classified as fit and only 3 misfitting, compared to the 1-PL model where 32 items fit and 8 misfits. Furthermore, the difficulty parameter (b) indicated that all items were within the acceptable range (–2 ≤ b ≤ +2), with a tendency toward easy to moderate levels. The discrimination parameter (a) demonstrated that most items possessed satisfactory to high discrimination power, although a small number exhibited lower values. These findings confirm that the teacher-constructed test generally meets psychometric standards of validity and reliability, while also highlighting the need for revision of a few misfitting and low-discrimination items. The study provides both theoretical and practical contributions by emphasizing the importance of applying IRT in school-based assessment practices to ensure fair, accurate, and effective evaluation of students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Developing Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based test items is a critical competency for teachers in 21st-century education. However, its implementation remains limited, particularly among Islamic education teachers. This study explores teachers’ ability to participate in the Professional Teacher Education Program under the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs at the State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo to construct HOTS-based assessments. Utilizing an exploratory, cross-sectional design, the study involved 495 madrasah and Islamic education teachers across Indonesia. Data were collected through document analysis of teacher-developed test items and classroom observations, then analyzed using the Graded Response Model (GRM) in the R program. The findings reveal that most participants demonstrated moderate ability levels in developing HOTS-based test items, with ability scores ranging between –1.00 and 1.00. The study highlights significant challenges in item construction, particularly in aligning cognitive levels with stimulus and question indicators. These results emphasize the need for improved pedagogical training and targeted support to strengthen teachers’ competence in designing cognitively demanding assessments. The study contributes to the global discourse on HOTS-based assessment in religious education and offers practical implications for curriculum design, teacher training, and assessment policy in culturally rooted educational contexts.

Abstract

This puzzle media functions as an intermediary to convey mathematics material so that it is easily understood by elementary school students. Therefore, researchers conducted research on the use of puzzle media in improving student learning outcomes in class III mathematics subjects at SDN 9 Limboto. This research aims to find out whether the use of puzzle media can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics class III 9 Limboto. The research model used is classroom action research by Kemmis Mc Tagart. The research subjects were 16 class III students at SDN 9 Limboto. The data collection technique is in the form of a test to determine the level of student understanding of the material, observation to determine student activity in implementing the learning process, while documentation is used to collect data that is relevant to research. The research results show that in the initial conditions based on the pretest results, 20% of students had reached the KKM, while 80% of students had not yet reached the KKM. Then in the cycle there was a very significant increase, namely 85% of students had reached the KKM while 15% of students had not reached the predetermined KKM. This proves that the use of puzzle media in mathematics learning can improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN 9 Limboto.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Use of Puzzle Media, Fraction MaterialMedia puzzle ini berpungsi sebagai perantara untuk menyampaikan materi matematika agar mudah dipahami oleh siswa SD oleh karna itu peneliti melakukan penelitian penggunaan media puzzle dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran matematika kelas III SDN 9 Limboto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeetahui apakah penggunakan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa mata Pelajaran matematika kelas III 9 Limboto. Model penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian Tindakan kelas oleh kemmis mc tagart. Subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas III SDN 9 Limboto yang berjumlah 16 orang. Adpaun Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes untuk mengetahui Tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi, obervasi untuk mengetahui qktivitas siswa dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, sedangkan domentasi sebagai pengumpul data yang relevansi dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada akondisi awal berdasarkan hasil preetest yakni 20 % siswa sudah mencapai KKM sedaangkan 80% siswa yang belum mencapai KKM. Kemudian pada siklus terjadi peningkatan yang sangat signifikan yaitu 85% siswa sudah mencapai KKM sedangkan 15% siswa belum mencapai KKM yang sudah ditetapkan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN 9 Limboto.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Penggunaan Media Puzzle, Materi Pecahan

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in geometric material. The Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model is expected to improve student learning outcomes. This research uses a Quasi Experimental Design research method with a quantitative research type. The results of this research indicate that there is an influence of the application of the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Cokroaminoto Ikhwan Elementary School. This can be seen from the calculation results obtained t_count = 4.145 and then consulted with a significance level of 0.05 to obtain a t_table value = 2.035. From the results of the average values, it was found that the average value for the experimental class was 92.24, while the average value for the control class was 75.53. Because t_count t_table (4.145 2.035) then Hₒ is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of the process oriented guided inquiry learning model on mathematics learning outcomes for class V classroom materials at Cokroaminoto Ikhwan Elementary School. Keywords: POGIL Model, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 7 Limboto in the material of the Least Common Multiple and the Greatest Common Factor in Mathematics Subjects. This research method is Class V Action which is carried out in a class to determine the consequences of the action applied to a research subject in that class. The subjects of this research were class V of SDN 7 Limboto, totaling 18 students. The Classroom Action Research (PTK) model that will be carried out refers to the Kemmis and Taggart model which consists of stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this research indicate that the application of multi-functional board media can improve student learning outcomes in the material on Least Common Multiple and Greatest Common Factor. In the first cycle, the learning outcomes of 8 students who completed were 44.4% in the "very poor" category and 10 students who did not complete were 55.5%. In cycle II, student learning outcomes reached 83.3% in the "good" category. There were 15 students who completed and 3 students did not complete. This research can be said to be successful if it has reached the success indicator, namely 75% and this research can be said to be successful with a percentage of 83.3% in the "good" category, so this research needs to be continued in the next cycle. Keywords: Learning; Use of Multi-Function Board Media; Mathematics.

Abstract

The problems that will be discussed in this thesis are (1). How to apply the Problem Based Learning model to improve the ability to solve story problems on ordinary fractions for class IV students at SDN 9 Limboto. The research model is classroom action research by Kemmis Mc Taggart. The research subjects were 11 class IV students at SDN 09 Limboto. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of test questions, observation, interviews and documentation. The research stages have four models, namely: preparation (planning), action implementation, monitoring and evaluation (observation), analysis and reflection. The results of the research show that Problem Based Learning activities to improve students' abilities in solving story problems in class IV at SDN 09 Limboto can be seen from the percentages obtained. During the pre-cycle the average percentage was 9% before action was taken, then after action was taken in cycle I the average percentage value increased to 54% and increased again in cycle II with an average percentage value of 90% and had reached the success rate is 75%. Therefore, the Problem Based Learning model can improve students' abilities in solving questions and problems on ordinary fractions in class IV SDN 09 Limboto.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model; Ordinary Fractions; Mathematics.Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam skripsi ini yakni (1). Bagaimana penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi pecahan biasa pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN 9 Limboto. Model penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas oleh KemmisMc Taggart. Subjek penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas IV SDN 09 Limboto yang berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes soal, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian memiliki empat model yaitu: persiapan (perncanaan),pelaksanaan tindakan, pemantauan dan evaluasi (pengamatan), analisis dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kegiatan Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita di kelas IV SDN 09 Limboto dapat dilihat dari jumlah-jumlah prsentase yang didapatkan. Pada saat pra-siklus presentase rata-rata yakni 9% sebelum dilakukan tindakan, kemudian setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I nilai presentase rata-rata meningkat yakni 54% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II dengan nilai presentase rata-rata yakni 90% dan sudah mencapai tingkat keberhasilan yakni 75%. Maka dengan itu model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal certa materi pecahan biasa di kelas IV SDN 09 Limboto.Kata Kunci: Model Problem Based Learning; Pecahan Biasa; Matematika.
