Abstract

Modern economic and social developments brought Muslim societies into the context of increasingly complex transactions, including banking, etc. This challenge raises new problems that are not only solved by the sources of Qur'anic law and hadith. Istiḥsān is a method of establishing law that is postulated in Hanafi fiqh although its existence is still debated among fiqh scholars. This paper aims to examine the value of maslahah in the application of Istiḥsān. This research uses a desk-based research method, which includes searching relevant literature for data, compiling journal articles and books covering the subject matter of the research topic, and systematic analysis of the information obtained.  The results of research in this paper show that istihsan uses maslahah mursalah as a method to get to maqashid shari'ah

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an urgent need for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing increasingly competitive economic competition. In Sembung Village, the majority of MSMEs still market their products conventionally, without utilizing digital media and without adequate product legality. This community service activity aims to: (1) introduce the concept and practice of social media-based digital marketing; (2) assist in the process of creating attractive and informative product label designs; and (3) encourage the processing of food legality through PIRT permits for local MSMEs. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves MSMEs in all stages of the activity. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, with triangulation techniques to validate the findings. The results of the activity showed that digital marketing training was able to improve MSMEs' understanding of social media-based promotional strategies. As many as 75% of participants began to actively use platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp Business to reach a wider market. In addition, several MSMEs succeeded in having new product label designs and had completed the PIRT permit application process. These findings indicate that digital intervention and product legality contribute positively to strengthening the competitiveness of village MSMEs. This activity recommends further assistance to ensure the sustainability of optimal digital marketing implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the health of commercial banks based on Islamic principles by using CAMELS ratio. Contributions from the application of the CAMELS ratio against the Bank Syariah Mandiri in order to assess the factors Capital, Assets, Management, Profitability, Liquidity and Sensitivity. If Bank Syariah Mandiri attention to the ratio of C (Capital) maintain and anticipate emerging risks. Additionally, using the ratio of A (Asset) anticipate the risk of default of the financing provided. The ratio of M (Management) to manage and run the business in accordance with the principles of risk management and capital adequacy of the precautionary principle. The ratio E (Earnings) address the problem of losses, raising capital in creating a profit during a predetermined period and can control the operating expenses to operating income. Then, the ratio L (Liquidity) keeping and maintaining a sufficient level of liquidity, and the latter ratio S (Sensitivity) made into a very low market risk and market risk management is carried out effectively and consistently. In this case, the study of Bank Syariah Mandiri period 2011-2013 using CAMELS ratio obtains a good picture of the plight, healthy or not healthy cycle of Bank Syariah Mandiri or financial position of the Bank Syariah Mandiri. Researcher expects that Bank Syariah Mandiri can predict bankruptcy and financial benefit ratio test in predicting a good profit in the period 2011-2013 and the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat masyarakat dalam memilih produk asuransi takaful dana pendidikan, dengan fokus pada cabang Surabaya dari PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga. Studi ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis empat faktor utama yang diyakini memainkan peran penting dalam keputusan memilih asuransi takaful dana pendidikan, yaitu faktor produk, promosi, pendapatan, dan religiusitas. Melalui pengumpulan data dari sejumlah responden yang potensial atau telah menjadi peserta asuransi takaful dana pendidikan, penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai metode analisis statistik untuk mengukur pengaruh faktor-faktor ini terhadap minat masyarakat dalam memilih produk tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor produk, promosi, dan pendapatan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat masyarakat untuk memilih produk asuransi takaful dana pendidikan. Selain itu, religiusitas juga ditemukan memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap minat masyarakat, mengingat sifat asuransi takaful yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi perusahaan asuransi, khususnya PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga, dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif.
