Abstract

Islamic Religious Education and Character (PAIBP) plays an important role in building students' character and morals. In responding to the challenges of the 21st century, which require critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity skills (4C), innovative learning methods are needed to foster students' social and emotional attitudes. One effective method is the Gallery Walk, which encourages students to work together in groups, present their work, and interact actively with one another. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Gallery Walk method in PAIBP learning and its impact on the collaborative abilities of XI MPLB II students at SMK Negeri 2 Blora. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation that are analyzed interactively. The research results indicate that Gallery Walk is quite effective in enhancing students' collaborative abilities, as evidenced by increased engagement in discussions, mutual respect, and the ability to give and receive feedback. Furthermore, this method also strengthens students' understanding of PAIBP material and supports the development of Islamic character, including tolerance, responsibility, and social care. Therefore, Gallery Walk is an appropriate alternative strategy for PAIBP learning, aligned with the demands of 21st-century skills and supporting cooperative learning theory based on social interaction. The use of this method is expected to facilitate more effective learning and have a positive impact on students' character. ABSTRAK Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAIBP) berperan penting dalam membentuk akhlak dan karakter peserta didik. Menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21 yang menuntut keterampilan berpikir kritis, komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan kreativitas (4C), diperlukan metode pembelajaran inovatif yang menumbuhkan sikap sosial dan emosional. Salah satu metode yang relevan adalah Gallery Walk, di mana siswa bekerja dalam kelompok, menyajikan karya dalam bentuk galeri, dan berinteraksi secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Gallery Walk dalam pembelajaran PAIBP dan dampaknya terhadap kemampuan kolaboratif peserta didik kelas XI MPLB II SMK Negeri 2 Blora. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gallery Walk efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kolaboratif siswa, dengan peningkatan keterlibatan dalam diskusi, sikap saling menghargai, dan kesediaan untuk memberi serta menerima umpan balik. Selain memperkuat pemahaman materi PAIBP, metode ini berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter Islami yang meliputi toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial. Dengan demikian, Gallery Walk merupakan alternatif strategi pembelajaran PAIBP yang selaras dengan tuntutan keterampilan abad ke-21 dan mendukung teori pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis interaksi sosial.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, disiplin serta ketrampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa, dan Negara Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (I) Untuk mengetahui Implementasi Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak Dalam Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Dan Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik Kelas VIII MTs Darul Muna (II) Untuk mengetahui Faktor apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Darul Muna (III) Untuk mengetahuai apa saja upaya yang di lakukan pihak sekolah dalam peningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kedisipinan peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Darul Muna. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data dan tahap penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak Dalam Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Dan Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik Kelas VIII MTs Darul Muna telah terlaksana dengan baik. Faktor pendukung dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik Kelas VIII saat ini yaitu adanya motivasi dalam diri peserta didik, penggunaan metode yang tepat dan menyenangkan, dan dukungan dari orang tua. Faktor Penghambat yaitu, kurangnya kemampuan peserta didik terhadap pemahaman materi pembelajaran, dan adanya PTM (Pembelajran Tatap Muka ) terbatas dan fasilitas sokolah yang kurang memadai. Faktor Pendukung Dalam Peningkatan Kedisiplinan yaitu dengan adanya teladan contoh baik dan adanya sanksi. Faktor penghambat dalam peningkatan kedisiplinan peserta didik yaitu tidak adanya motivasi dari diri peserta didik untuk membiasakan berperilaku disiplin dan pengaruh lingkungan pertemanan peserta didik. Upaya yang dilakukan pihak sekolah dalam peningktan motivasi belajar yaitu penyediaan sumber belajar LKS dan biasiswa bagi peserta didik yang berprestasi. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam peningkatan kedisiplinan peserta didik yaitu keteladanan dari pendidik, adanya guru piket dan adanya sanksi. Abstract

This research is motivated by the reduced awareness of the Islamic community about the importance of learning, especially learning the Qur'an. In addition, their lack of knowledge about the Qur'an makes people reluctant to study it, even though the Qur'an is the main guideline for Muslims in carrying out life in the world. The Qur'an is the source of all knowledge in the world, both past and future lives. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with studying in depth about the Qur'an because the Qur'an never tells lies to Muslims. The focus of the research in this thesis is 1) How is the process of implementing the habituation of tadarus Al-Qur'an students at MTs Miftahul Ilmiyah Mojowetan? 2) How is the method of habituation of tadarus Al-Qur'an students at MTs Miftahul Ilmiyah Mojowetan? 3) Why is Al-Qur'an tadarus habituation held at MTs Miftahul Ilmiyah Mojowetan? The purpose of this study is to find out how students are accustomed to reading the Qur'an, the method in habituation to reading the Qur'an of students and why learning activities to read the Qur'an are held. In this study using the following research methods: 1) type or pattern of qualitative research, 2) data sources: resource persons, and school data, 3) data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation, 4) data analysis techniques are data reduction and drawing conclusions The results of this thesis research are 1) to carry out the habit of reading the Qur'an every morning for 15 minutes, for Friday to carry out khotmil Qur'an for the excellent class and for the regular class to read Surah Yasin, tahlil and istiqosah 2) for the method that uses used the punishment method, assignment method, peer tutor method, and classical method 3) for consideration that the habituation of reading the Qur'an is held is the positive impact that will be felt from reading the Qur'an is very large and as an effort to achieve the vision and mission school.

Abstract

Education has an important role in shaping a person's character and personality. One of the Islamic intellectual figures who made a major contribution to educational thinking was Nurcholish Majid. He is known as a contemporary Islamic thinker who provides fresh and relevant thoughts, especially in the context of multicultural education. Qualitative research methods are used to explore and describe the essence of his educational thinking and its impact in the context of modern education. This research method will involve analysis of Nurcholish Majid's texts, interviews with thought experts, and case studies of the implementation of his educational concepts in educational institutions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The results of this research are the multicultural-pluralistic concept of religious education (Islam) initiated by Nurcholish Madjid as starting point from the philosophicalanthropological concept of humans as 'Abd Allah and caliph of Allah whose human qualities have not been completed (processed) so that they require struggle (mujahadah) to perfect them through understanding. and correct religious education, which can understand the essence and purpose of the religion prescribed by the law.

Abstract

The background of this research is a fact that has occurred in the world of education, there are still many cases of material descriptions in Islamic Religious Education and Morals Education textbooks that are not in accordance with the level of development of students. And in middle school age coincides with adolescence. Adolescence is a period that attracts a lot of attention because of its distinctive characteristics and its decisive role in the lives of individuals in adult society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the suitability of the personality development of students' attitudes in the Islamic Religious Education and Morals Education textbook and to analyze the lack of content of the VII grade Islamic Religious Education and Morals Education textbook at SMP PGRI Kuwu. In the research that will be carried out this method uses (Library Research) library research. And this type of research is (Field Research) field research is one of the studies carried out by researchers to collect data originating from backgrounds, social interactions, individuals, groups, communities, and so on. The data collection techniques used by the author are observation, interviews, and documentation From the results of the analysis of research conducted by researchers, the personality development of students' attitudes in the seventh grade Islamic Religious Education and Morals Education textbook at SMP PGRI Kuwu is appropriate, and the shortcomings include; on the theme of Al-Qur'an Hadith does not contain material about the law of reading nun sukun/tanwin and mim sukun/tanwin, then on the theme of Fiqh it does not contain various kinds of water because they do not really understand what water is used for purification. , then on the theme of Akidah Akhlak, the presentation of material about alAsmau'u al-Husna is still a little, only explaining four names, and on the theme of History of Islamic Culture does not contain material about the names of the wives and children of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Teachers have a crucial role in curriculum development. Because teachers are professionals, teachers are the gateway to innovation as well as the gateway to integrated development. This is because development can be carried out if it starts from developing people first. Without people who are capable, skilled, knowledgeable, intelligent, creative and responsible, integrated development will not be able to be implemented well. Therefore, every teacher and other education personnel must be able to understand the curriculum as well as possible. So that they can design, implement, control and evaluate curriculum development, because teachers are the main implementers of learning activities and directly interact with students who are expected to achieve competencies that can be a benchmark for the success of curriculum development. Through qualitative research methods and library research, this article tries to explain the role of teachers in developing the PAI curriculum. The results of this research show that there are four roles that teachers must play in developing the curriculum, namely: As a curriculum implementer; As a curriculum developer; As a curriculum adapter (aligner); and as a curriculum researcher.

Abstract

The low ability and fluency in reading the Qur'an among Generation Alpha has become a pressing challenge for Islamic educational institutions, particularly given the characteristics of this generation as digital natives who are easily disengaged and prefer visual- and audio-based learning. This study aims to explore the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in Qur’anic learning at SMP Islam Assalam Kradenan, Grobogan, focusing on mapping students’ reading abilities, designing differentiated learning strategies, and identifying the challenges, strengths, and limitations of the model. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study collected data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with Islamic education teachers and students as key participants. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and verification stages, while validity was ensured using source and methodological triangulation. The findings reveal that TaRL effectively categorizes students’ Qur’anic reading skills into three levels (basic, intermediate, and advanced) and provides adaptive learning strategies tailored to their needs. This approach was found to enhance learning motivation, strengthen Qur’anic reading competence, and foster active student engagement. Nevertheless, challenges such as time constraints, teacher readiness, and resistance to new methods were also identified. The study concludes that TaRL holds significant potential as an innovative approach to Qur’anic education for Generation Alpha, filling a research gap, while contributing both practically and theoretically to the broader development of Islamic education in response to contemporary learning needs.ABSTRAKRendahnya kemampuan dan kelancaran membaca al-Qur’an di kalangan generasi Alpha menjadi tantangan serius bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam, terutama karena karakteristik generasi ini yang merupakan digital native, mudah bosan, serta lebih menyukai pembelajaran berbasis visual dan audio. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di SMP Islam Assalam Kradenan Grobogan, dengan fokus pada pemetaan kemampuan baca siswa, rancangan strategi pembelajaran diferensiasi, serta identifikasi tantangan, kelebihan, dan keterbatasannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, serta melibatkan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan siswa sebagai partisipan utama. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi, sementara keabsahan diperkuat dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TaRL mampu memetakan kemampuan baca Al-Qur’an siswa menjadi tiga level (dasar, menengah, mahir) dengan strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif dan berbasis kebutuhan. Pendekatan ini mendorong peningkatan motivasi belajar, memperkuat kompetensi membaca Al-Qur’an, serta menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar. Namun, penelitian juga menemukan adanya tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu, kesiapan guru, serta resistensi terhadap perubahan metode. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa TaRL memiliki potensi signifikan sebagai inovasi pembelajaran Al-Qur’an bagi generasi Alpha, mengisi kesenjangan penelitian sebelumnya, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi praktis dan teoretis bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the model of integration of Islamic Education and Guidance Counseling (BK) in strengthening the mental health of Generation Alpha students at SMP Plus Insan Gemilang. The background of this study is the increase in digital distractions and mental health challenges among the younger generation, which requires a holistic educational approach based on spiritual values. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through semi-structured in-depth interviews with students, guidance counselors, Islamic education teachers, and the principal, who were selected purposively. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques and tested for validity through source triangulation and member checking. The results showed that the boarding school system, which has been a policy since the school's establishment, restrictions on the use of electronic devices, the habit of worship, and Islamic counseling services contributed positively to the inner peace, emotional control, resilience, and learning focus of students. These findings are in line with previous studies that confirm that religiosity and social support in Islamic educational environments are significantly related to students' psychological well-being. This study also found challenges in the form of homesickness, boredom due to busy schedules, and difficulties in time management that need to be overcome through counseling assistance and strengthening self-management skills. In conclusion, the integration of Islamic Education and BK in the context of boarding schools is a relevant and effective approach to strengthening the mental health of Generation Alpha students and can serve as a reference for other Islamic educational institutions. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan model integrasi Pendidikan Islam dan Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam penguatan kesehatan mental peserta didik Generasi Alpha di SMP Plus Insan Gemilang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya distraksi digital dan tantangan kesehatan mental generasi muda sehingga diperlukan pendekatan pendidikan yang holistik berbasis nilai spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur terhadap peserta didik, guru BK, guru PAI, dan kepala sekolah yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis tematik dan diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem boarding school yang telah menjadi kebijakan sejak berdirinya sekolah, pembatasan penggunaan gawai, pembiasaan ibadah, dan layanan BK Islami berkontribusi positif terhadap ketenangan batin, pengendalian emosi, resiliensi, dan fokus belajar peserta didik. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menegaskan bahwa religiusitas dan dukungan sosial di lingkungan pendidikan Islam berhubungan signifikan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa. Penelitian ini juga menemukan tantangan berupa rasa kangen rumah, kejenuhan akibat jadwal padat, dan kesulitan manajemen waktu yang perlu diatasi melalui pendampingan konseling dan penguatan keterampilan manajemen diri. Kesimpulannya, integrasi Pendidikan Islam dan BK dalam konteks boarding school merupakan pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif untuk memperkuat kesehatan mental peserta didik Generasi Alpha serta dapat menjadi rujukan bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an secara baik dan benar masih menjadi tantangan bagi sebagian siswa di jenjang sekolah menengah pertama. Banyak di antara mereka yang belum fasih dalam melafalkan huruf hijaiyah serta kurang memahami penerapan hukum tajwid dengan tepat. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya metode pembelajaran Al-Qur’an yang efektif, menarik, dan mudah diterapkan. Metode Ummi hadir sebagai solusi dengan pendekatan bahasa ibu, latihan berulang, serta pembelajaran yang dilandasi kasih sayang untuk membantu siswa membaca Al-Qur’an secara tartil dan fasih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi, kemudian diuji keabsahannya menggunakan triangulasi sumber serta teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Ummi di SMP Islam Baitunnur Blora mampu meningkatkan kefasihan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa, khususnya dalam ketepatan makhraj huruf, penguasaan panjang-pendek bacaan, serta penerapan hukum tajwid. Siswa tampak lebih lancar, percaya diri, dan bersemangat dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Selain itu, ditemukan pula berbagai faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan metode tersebut di lapangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana gamifikasi diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 2 Tunjungan Blora, khususnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep-konsep Islam. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun gamifikasi diterapkan secara sederhana dan manual tanpa menggunakan teknologi canggih, metode ini efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa, keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam pembelajaran, dan pemahaman mereka terhadap materi-materi seperti Asmaul Husna dan rukun iman. Dukungan dari sekolah dan kreativitas guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan gamifikasi. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, perbedaan kemampuan siswa, dan kurangnya fasilitas teknologi. Secara keseluruhan, gamifikasi telah terbukti menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang menarik dengan potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai metode utama dalam pembelajaran PAI di masa depan.
