Abstract

Curriculum management is a vital component of education, encompassing the processes of planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous development. This study aims to explore various stages of curriculum management, focusing on the curriculum's relevance to student needs, technological advancements, and the challenges faced during its implementation. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing various relevant sources to obtain comprehensive insights into curriculum management. The findings indicate that effective curriculum planning must be based on an analysis of student needs, alignment with labor market demands, and the latest technological developments. In its implementation, teachers play a crucial role as facilitators in integrating innovative learning methods, such as project-based learning and the use of technology. Curriculum evaluation is essential to assess the effectiveness of learning and the relevance of teaching materials. The primary challenges in curriculum management include resistance to change, limited resources, and inadequate use of technology in teaching. Therefore, curriculum innovation, including the adoption of technology and project-based approaches, can enhance learning effectiveness and better prepare students for future challenges. Collaboration among educational institutions, industries, and the community is also pivotal in creating a more relevant and adaptive curriculum.

Abstract

School quality is the most important aspect and a major issue in the education system. This research aims to explore the influence of teamwork and curriculum effectiveness on improving school quality. The method employed is based on a quantitative design with a survey approach. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 146 respondents. School quality is the key variable in this research. The data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software to provide detailed information on the contribution of each variable's indicators. The findings of this research indicate a strong contribution from each variable in enhancing school quality. The R-square value for the curriculum effectiveness variable is 0.365, meaning that this variable contributes to a 36.5% improvement in school quality. On the other hand, the teamwork variable contributes 62.3% to school quality. These results clearly demonstrate the originality of this research, highlighting that teamwork in schools has a higher contribution value than curriculum effectiveness. The future research needs to examine how to establish teamwork in Islamic educational institutions as an effort to enhance quality.
