Abstract

Andung Ni Si Boruadi  dalam bahasa Batak Toba berarti ratapan seorang gadis adalah sebuah karya komposisi musik  yang berangkat dari reinterpretasi terhadap budaya andung yang ada di masayarakat Batak Toba. Andung adalah nyanyian ratapan seseorang yang murni atau refleks saat sedang berduka. Dalam karya ini, aspek suasana, karakteristik dan teknik andung akan  menjadi ide garapan yang digarap ke dalam sebuah komposisi musik fantasia tiga bagian. Karya  komposisi ini digarap dengan menggunakan metode penciptaan yaitu:  Interpretasi, orkestrasi dan improvisasi. Bagian penting dalam proses penggarapan karya ini terdiri dari ide tema garapan, tangga nada, sistem atonal, teknik pengembangan, motif sulim, motif hasapi dan motif taganing. Komposisi musik Fantasia Andung Ni Si Boruadi digarap ke dalam formasi full orkestra yang dikolaborasikan dengan penggunaan alat musik tradisonal Batak Toba yaitu sulim  ( Seruling) dan pada bagian tertentu, penggarap memunculkan si pangandung (orang yang meratap) untuk menguatkan tema dari Andung  tersebut. Hasil karya komposisi musik ini yaitu musik programa ideational  dengan bentuk fantasia tiga bagian yang diberi judul Fantasia Andung Ni Si Boruadi.ABSTRACTAndung Ni Si Boruadi in the Toba Batak language means a girl's lament is a musical composition that departs from a reinterpretation of the Andung culture in the Toba Batak community. Andung is a pure or reflexive lamentation of someone when they are grieving. In this work, aspects of the atmosphere, characteristics and techniques of andung will be the ideas worked on into a three-part fantasia musical composition. This compositional work was worked on using creative methods, namely: interpretation, orchestration and improvisation. An important part of the process of creating this work consists of the theme ideas, scales, atonal systems, development techniques, sulim motifs, hasapi motifs and taganing motifs. The musical composition Fantasia Andung Ni Si Boruadi was worked on into a full orchestral formation which was collaborated with the use of traditional Toba Batak musical instruments, namely the sulim (flute) and in certain parts, the composers brought out si pandung (people who wail) to strengthen the theme of Andungthe. The result of this musical composition is ideational programmatic music in the form of a three-part fantasia entitled Fantasia Andung Ni Si Boruadi.

ABSTRAKRepertoar musik dari berbagai era seperti classic, popular dan melayu dikemas ke dalam sebuah pertunjukan solis marimba dengan menggunakan kaidah pertunjukan konvensional.Repertoar dalam pertunjukan ini terdiri dari repertoar berbagai era.Repertoar pertama dalam pertunjukan adalah repetoar era klasik yang berjudul Concerto in E minor For Solo Marimba dengan komposer Braedon Bomgardner.Repertoar kedua adalah Can You Feel The Love Tonight yang merupakan lagu popular animasi disney ciptaan Elton John. Repertoar terakhir dengan judul Journey To Deli karya dari Tengku Ryo Riezkan. Penyaji menginterpretasikan berbagai teknik seperti legato, arpegio, triol, single stroke roll, roll, dan improvisasi untuk mewujudkan tercapainya sebuah pertunjukan yang utuhKata kunci : Pertunjukan, Marimba, Solis ABSTRACTMusic repertoire from various eras such as classic, popular and Malay is packaged into a solo marimba performance using conventional performance rules. The repertoire in this show consists of repertoires of various eras. The second repertoire is Can You Feel The Love Tonight which is a popular song by Elton John. The last repertoire with Journey To Deli by Tengku Ryo Riezkan. Abstract

This performance is a performance by an electric bass soloist who presents a repertoire entitled: spain, a technical approach applied in preparing to play the instrument, namely the Extreme Slap Bass etude guide: A Dictionary Of Grooves. The aim of this solo performance is to be able to present a repertoire of electric bass instruments through a technical approach based on applicable scientific principles. The resulting repertoire performance was 7 minutes long, presented at the Hoerijah Adam ISI Padangpanjang performance building. The solo performance was presented with a big band formation. The application of the technique to the Spanish repertoire uses electric bass instruments, and a slap technique approach that applies the etude Extreme Slap Bass: A Dictionary Of Grooves.

Abstract

The marimba solo performance featuring the composition Concerto in B Minor is a work by O. Rieding adapted for the marimba. Originally composed for the violin, this piece was released in November 1909 in Leipzig by the publishing company Bosworth & Co. The work consists of three movements: Allegro moderato, Andante, and Allegro moderato. The objective of this performance is to demonstrate the adaptation of this piece for the marimba, focusing on the application of arpeggio techniques and various expression marks such as piano, forte, crescendo, decrescendo, mezzo forte, ritardando, and a tempo. The performance results illustrate the successful application of these techniques and expression marks, showcasing the performer's ability to interpret and convey the musical nuances of the composition. The performance methodology includes the conceptualization, preparation, and execution of the performance..

Abstract

Komposisi musik Fantasia Taur-taur  adalah komposisi yang berangkat dari salah satu kesenian Batak Simalungun yaitu Taur-taur Simbandar. Komposisi musik Fantasia Taur-taur merupakan musik komposisi dengan gaya Fantasia digarap dalam bentuk dua bagian dengan format orkestra. Pada komposisi musik ini, melodi dan pola ritme yang berangkat dari lagu Taur-taur Simbandar diambil sebagai ide garapan yang digarap dalam sebuah komposisi musik instrumental. Dalam penggarapan komposisi musik Fantasia Taur-taur digunakan beberapa teknik pengolahan variasi motif seperti repitisi, sequen, imitasi, diminusi tanpa menghilangkan ciri khas dari lagu Taur-taur Simbandar tersebut.. Abstract

Komposisi Dayang Daini Format Orchestra adalah sebuah komposisi yang berangkat dari tema dendang Dayang Daini yang berasal dari Minangkabau. Tema dari dendang tersebut diolah kedalam format orkestra dengan bentuk bebas (Free Form). Metode penciptaan ini terdiri dari persiapan, perancangan, perwujudan, penyajian. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang pengkarya gunakan pada komposisi ini antara lain: studi pustaka dan studi lapangan seperti: observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan perwujudan karyanya menggunakan tahap: transkripsi, orkestrasi, aransement, proses karya, dan pertunjukan. Hasil penciptaan ini menunjukan bahwa komposisi musik yang berjudul Dayang Daini Format Orchestra, berhasil dibuat oleh pengkarya dalam format orkestra dengan bentuk bebas (FreeForm). Komposisi ini dimainkan menggunakan tempo Larghetto sampai tempo Allegro, dengan memakai tanda birama 4/4.
