Abstract

This research specifically aims to look at patriarchal systems and practices, whether intentional or not, that still exist in Islamic boarding schools. In a coherent manner, the author explains and dialogues things that are often indicated as having gender bias in Islamic boarding schools with social theory analysis, including, Islamic boarding schools' responses to women, women in the leadership system in Islamic boarding schools, gender bias in learning texts and masculinity norms in Islamic boarding schools. Daarul Mustaqiem Bogor. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of socio-religious understanding on the phenomenon of patriarchy in the Islamic boarding school leadership system. The social role of Kiai has a strong influence on the social aspects of Islamic boarding school education. There are several underlying points, namely: First, the issue of cultural values, a cultural problem that is still deeply rooted in many areas of society today is the strong ideology of patriarchy. In this context, Islamic education is a form of socio-religious (Islamic) education. Second, the strong patriarchal culture in the Islamic boarding school world cannot be separated from the dynamics of Islamic boarding school education. Thus, it cannot be separated from the domination of the figure of the Kyai who is known as the sole authority who holds the power of the Islamic Boarding School. It is hoped that this research can provide a related picture of a Kiai becoming an ideological symbol and the capital of deep religious knowledge which becomes a great capital for conquest and justification among society. Methods like this are then referred to in a social science perspective as hegemony. Such is the high position of a man (Kyai) in the social construct of Islamic boarding school education that Dhofier considers the most essential element of an Islamic boarding school. In this context, men (Kyai) have a central role in the world of Islamic boarding schools and have a big influence on the phenomenon of socio-religious patriarchy in Islamic boarding schools, providing comprehensive insight into extracting the meaning of Al-rijāl and al-Nisā in the Qur'an so that provides an objective meaning view of the true meaning in studying these terms through scientific semantic analysis of interpreters.

Abstract

Optimizing writing scientific papers in Arabic based on a growth mindset is very urgent to help students' difficulties in writing scientific papers in Arabic, both in terms of knowledge and mental aspects, because scientific work is a requirement for graduating from undergraduate education taken by PBA IUQI Bogor and STITMA Yogyakarta study program students. This research uses the service-learning method in four stages: investigation, preparation, implementation, and reflection. Based on 22 respondents choosing answers of strongly agree and agree regarding the success of implementing assistance in writing scientific papers in Arabic, as detailed in the diagram, responses of disagree and strongly disagree were not found from the participants' responses. Thus, it was concluded that implementing assistance in writing scientific papers in Arabic was successful and beneficial for the participants.

Abstract

The development of formal education has encouraged some pesantren to improve their management. One sign of this progress is the establishment of the Santri Organization as a platform for kepesantrenan activities. The purpose of this study aims to understand the performance of the Santri Putri Organization (OSPI), the discipline of students, and the influence of OSPI performance on the discipline of grade 3 students at Nurul Iman Al-Hasanah Islamic Boarding School. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods. Conducted from March to April 2023 at the Islamic Boarding School involving 45 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed a significant correlation between organizational performance and student discipline. The analysis also showed that organizational performance contributed 35.0% to student discipline. Conclusion Overall, the results showed that the performance of the student organization had a significant influence on the discipline of the students in the Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Arus digital yang begitu pesat telah memunculkan kondisi baru, salah satunya adalah layanan evaluasi digital, seperti Wordwall, yang memiliki banyak fitur fungsional dan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran. Dalam proses penguasaan keterampilan maharah kitabah, ada beberapa hal yang dilatih dan dievaluasi, yaitu memahami kaidah dan penulisan huruf, kata, kalimat, paragraf, dan susunan paragraf menjadi sebuah karangan yang dapat diakomodir melalui Wordwall. Penelitian ini akan menguraikan tentang penggunaan aplikasi Wordwall yang digunakan sebagai media evaluasi dalam mata kuliah maharah kitabah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), sehingga dalam proses penelitian akan dilakukan penelusuran literatur baik dari web wordwall, buku, jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan wordwall dalam evaluasi pembelajaran maharah kitabah yang dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini diawali dengan tinjauan pustaka terkait media evaluasi pembelajaran maharah kitabah berbasis Digital Game Based Learning (DGBL). Pada penelitian ini, penulis akan memanfaatkan 18 fitur template yang disediakan oleh wordwall dan memilih fitur yang relevan untuk digunakan sebagai media evaluasi maharah kitabah. Setelah melakukan analisis data, ditemukan template wordwall yang tepat dan sesuai untuk diaplikasikan pada materi evaluasi maharah kitabah. Dari uji Wilcoxon pada tabel uji statistik diketahui nilai signifikansinya 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, dengan demikian hipotesa yang diajukan diterima yaitu adanya efektifitas dalam pemanfaatan wordwall sebagai media evaluasi maharah kitabah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan Wordwall dalam evaluasi maharah kitabah dengan indikator kemudahan penggunaan media Wordwall, kemungkinan tumbuhnya minat dan motivasi, kemungkinan digunakan untuk belajar mandiri, kemungkinan tumbuhnya daya kritis, dan tingkat kontekstualitas dengan karakteristik pembelajar menunjukkan persentase 55-80% pembelajar memilih sangat setuju, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall cukup intensif dalam evaluasi maharah kitabah. The rapid digital flow has given rise to new conditions, one of which is digital evaluation services, such as Wordwall, which has a wealth of functional features and can be utilized in various subjects. In the process of mastering the skills of maharah kitabah, there are several things that are trained and evaluated, namely understanding the rules and writing of letters, words, sentences, paragraphs, and paragraph arrangements into essays that can be accommodated through Wordwall. This study will elaborate on the use of the Wordwall application which is used as an evaluation medium in the maharah kitabah course. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with the type of library research, so that in the research process, a literature search will be carried out both from the web word wall, books, journals related to the use of wordwalls in evaluating maharah kitabah learning which are explained descriptively. This study begins with a literature review related to the evaluation media for maharah kitabah learning based on Digital Game Based Learning (DGBL). In this study, the author will utilize 18 template features provided by wordwall and select relevant features to be used as a maharah kitabah evaluation media. After analyzing the data, the right and appropriate wordwall template was found to be applied to the maharah kitabah evaluation material. Dari uji Wilcoxon pada tabel tes statistik diketahui nilai signifikansinya 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, dengan demikian hipotesnya diterima yakni adanya efektifitas dalam pemanfaatan wordwall sebagai media evaluasi maharah kitabah. it was found that the intensity of Wordwall use in the evaluation of maharah kitabah with indicators of ease of use of Wordwall media, the possibility of growing interest and motivation, the possibility of being used for independent learning, the possibility of growing critical thinking, and the level of contextuality with learner characteristics showed a percentage of 55-80% of learners choosing to strongly agree. this shows that the use of Wordwall is quite intensive in the evaluation of the maharah kitabah.

Abstract

Globalisasi adalah sebuah fenomena yang telah mendominasi perubahan dunia dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, khususnya internet, telah memainkan peran besar dalam mempercepat globalisasi. Ini memungkinkan individu dan organisasi untuk berkomunikasi, berkolaborasi, dan berbagi informasi dengan cepat di seluruh dunia. Pendekatan ini mengunakan tafsir maudhu’i memahami bahwa teks Al-Qur'an tidak hanya bisa dilihat secara individual, tetapi juga dalam hubungannya dengan konteks budaya, sejarah, dan bahasa di mana teks tersebut muncul. Ini memungkinkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang makna yang dapat berubah seiring waktu dan transformasi dalam konteks budaya. Berbeda secara signifikan dengan ajaran Al-Qur’an. Beberapa siswa mungkin sulit memahami atau menerima konsep-konsep Al-Qur’an karena adanya persepsi atau stereotip tertentu tentang Islam. Ini bisa membuat penyampaian nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an lebih rumit karena memerlukan pendekatan yang menghormati dan memahami keberagaman pemahaman siswa. Globalization is a phenomenon that has dominated world change in recent decades. Information and communication technology, especially the internet, has played a big role in accelerating globalization. It enables individuals and organizations to communicate, collaborate, and share information quickly around the world. This approach uses Maudhu'i interpretation to understand that the text of the Qur'an can not only be seen individually but also in relation to the cultural, historical and linguistic context in which the text appears. This allows a deeper understanding of meanings that can change over time and transformations in cultural contexts. It differs significantly from the teachings of the Koran. Some students may find it difficult to understand or accept the concepts of the Koran because of certain perceptions or stereotypes about Islam. This can make conveying the values ​​of the Qur'an more complicated because it requires an approach that respects and understands the diversity of students' understandings

Abstract

This article aims to describe the community service program of the Bogor Ummul Quro Al-Islamy Institute at the Wadil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. Where the service process focuses on assisting fun learning methods in memorizing the Qur'an. The fun learning method is applied in tahfidz Al-Qur'an to overcome the classic challenges in the memorization process that tend to be monotonous and boring, especially for children and adolescents. The main background of the application of this method is the need to foster intrinsic motivation, increase interest in learning, and create a more comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, so that students do not feel pressured during the memorization process. In addition, this approach also arises from the realization that the learning styles of students are very diverse, and adaptive and creative methods are needed to reach all students' characters. The method used in this study is qualitative research, the resource persons for this study consist of leaders, teachers and students of the Wadil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, the data collection techniques that are carried out are observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique carried out is descriptive analysis. The results of the study concluded that the application of fun learning in the process of memorizing the Qur'an at the Wadil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School proved to be effective in providing a conducive learning atmosphere so as to improve the quality of learning, and the quality of memorization of the Qur'an for students of the Wadil Qur'an Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan demokratis merupakan salah satu faktor untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru, karena terwujud nya motivasi kerja guru tidak lepas dari peran seorang pemimpin. Oleh karena itu sertiap pemimpin harus mengetahui secara jelas tentang apa yang dibutuhkan oleh guru agar dapat bekerja sama dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan demokratis terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMPIT Cendekia Muslim Bogor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain survey, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga pendidik sebanyak 30 orang, sampelnya diambil dari seluruh populasi sebanyak 30 orang. Untuk membuktikan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS 18.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kepemimpinan demokratis terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMPIT Cendekia Muslim Bogor dengan korelasi dua variabel yang berpengaruh dengan nilai 0,975. Selain itu R square sebesar 0,951. Hal ini berarti kontribusi variabel X (kepemimpinan demokratis) terhadap variabel Y (motivasi kerja guru) adalah 95,1% dan tersisa 4,9% dari faktor lain

Abstract

Islam is a religion that encourages to cultivate a culture of literacy among its people. This is inseparable from the history of the revelation of the Qur'an. So, the obligation to read has existed for a long time, various efforts have been made to improve literacy starting from writing activities, then using it to think about what is read. However, the current problem is that the literacy skills of students in Indonesia are quite good and not too low. The problem at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School is that students still do not have high reading interest due to any factors. The aim is to find out management of the library's literacy program in increasing student interest in reading at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Bogor. This study uses qualitative research, with a qualitative descriptive research design format. The results of his research, namely the management is quite good because it is based on the work program that was made during the work deliberation session. The literacy programs include: reading and writing activities, writing articles, scientific competitions, procurement of mobile libraries and so on to make them as interesting as possible. Because, the majority of students have low reading interest where these students use various reasons so that they spend more time on other activities in the afternoon, both deepening lessons for students who are lacking in cognitive aspects and have not been able to regulate affective aspects that can arise from activities that generate interest

Abstract

Good learning management so that learning has a positive impact on its recipients (students), or in other words, results in active learning. Active learning is a learning approach where students strive to acquire various knowledge during class learning, this is reflected in the increasing understanding and experience of the students, also allowing students to develop their thinking, for example, such as analytical skills. Another factor why active learning is necessary is because the times continue to develop and each person's characteristics are different, one of which is currently the millennial generation where they generally prefer to collaborate on assignments because they enjoy communicating with their friends.Research objective: To analyze students' experiences in participating in project-based learning, including aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and completion of project assignments . The method used in this research is a mixed methods method. This research is a research step by combining two forms of research that have previously existed, namely qualitative research and quantitative research. According to Creswell, mixed research is a research approach that combines qualitative research with quantitative research. Correlation shows a linear relationship between the variables in this study. Correlation between variables is calculated using the Pearson coefficient whose value ranges from -1 to +1. Positive values indicate a unidirectional relationship (the higher one variable, the higher the other variable), while values close to zero indicate a weak relationship or no linear relationship. The Quality variable, which represents overall quality, shows a strong positive correlation with several other key variables, specifically: Allianc (r = 0.955), indicating a very strong relationship, Imp2 (r = 0.844), Respond (r = 0.823). Model Explanatory Power The R-squared value shows that the PjBL variable has moderate explanatory power (17.1%), while the Response variable has very high explanatory power (100%), which means the model is able to explain the variation in respondent responses comprehensively. This emphasizes that the model built is suitable and relevant in the research context

Abstract

Abstract: The learning model must be adjusted to the level and characteristics of the class, the subject matter to be discussed, the availability of learning media, and others. So it is very important to determine the right learning model to be used in a lesson so that the goals or learning outcomes are achieved. The Discovery Learning strategy is a component of a constructivist approach that has a long history in education. The idea of ​​discovery learning arises from the desire to give pleasure to children/students in "discovering" something by themselves, by following in the footsteps of scientists. Implementation in cycles I-III of the Discovery Learning learning model The allocation of learning time is more effectively and efficiently arranged so that if there are obstacles in the process of teaching and learning activities they can be resolved immediately properly, this can be seen from the 10 students who complete 10 people with a percentage of 100%. Students who did not complete amounted to 0 with a percentage of 0%. With an average score of 82 classical student completeness is 100% with a KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) score of 75. These results show that the discovery learning approach has a good impact on empowerment in terms of cognitive, psychomotor, and student affection towards significant changes in students in terms of understanding and self-confidence, of course.
