Abstract

The village is a strategic position to support the success of community development programs. Developing and increasing literacy in rural areas faces quite a few challenges. The low level of public education, limited access to reading materials and the lack of educational facilities and infrastructure are often the main obstacles. This community partnership empowerment scheme focuses on the role and function of statistical agents in assisting in the creation of population statistics infographic designs and village potential graphic designs using the Canva application which is guided directly by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This aims at the process of implementing data digitization, especially population statistics data through infographic design. 10 out of 11 statistical agents who took part in training in making infographic designs and filled out pre-test and post-test questionnaires, the results showed that there were differences in understanding of the Canva application before and after the training. Before the training, 90% of participants knew about the Canva application and the rest did not know about the Canva application. After attending the training, my understanding of the Canva application increased. This is proven by 100% of participants answering correctly regarding the scope, function and benefits of Canva in creating graphic designs, posters and presentations. At the end of the service activities, assistance to the Rebo Village library in the form of grants for children's reading books, educational posters, bookcases and reading chairs was also provided to improve the reading culture as part of efforts to increase literacy in the Rebo Village community.

Abstract

Diabetes and heart disease are leading causes of global death, and if not properly managed, can be fatal. Previous studies have explored the factors influencing these two diseases through correlation analysis, multivariate analysis, machine learning, and deep learning. However, these approaches generally only identify associations without being able to predict causal relationships. This study aims to model the causal relationships between factors in two clinical datasets: heart disease (13 parameters) and diabetes (9 parameters), in order to support early diagnosis and prevention. The Greedy Equivalence Search (GES) algorithm is used to determine the direction of the causal relationship between parameters. The results show that heart disease exhibits three directional relationships: between blood pressure and age, between Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) and age, and between age and cholesterol. Then, diabetes exhibits two bidirectional relationships: blood pressure and BMI, then BMI and Diabetes Pedigree Function. In addition, diabetes also exhibits three directional relationships: Diabetes Pedigree Function and Glucose, BMI and Glucose, and Blood Pressure and Glucose. Thus, it can be concluded that the algorithm can identify the causal relationship between diabetes and heart disease.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence technology has given birth to various applications that support the learning process, one of which is ChatGPT. The presence of ChatGPT makes it easier for students to find references, understand materials, and complete assignments. However, excessive use has the potential to create dependency, thus weakening students' learning independence. This study aims to analyze the level of student dependency on ChatGPT and its relationship to learning independence using a machine learning approach. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 58 students covering seven categories of statements, including personal data, frequency of ChatGPT use, purpose of use, behavior towards ChatGPT answers, learning independence, attitudes towards dependency, and student dependency labels. The collected data were analyzed using the Naive Bayes algorithm with preprocessing processes such as data cleaning, coding categorical variables, and dividing the data into a training set (80%) and a testing set (20%). The results showed that the majority of students were in the medium dependency category (72%), followed by the low (13%) and high (15%) categories. The Naive Bayes model was able to classify the level of dependency with 83.3% accuracy on the test data. Further analysis revealed that the dominant factor influencing dependency was not only frequency of use, but also attitudinal aspects, such as a lack of confidence without ChatGPT and a tendency to use ChatGPT as a primary learning resource. It can be concluded that ChatGPT is an effective tool, but if not used wisely, it has the potential to undermine students' learning independence. Therefore, AI literacy and the cultivation of critical learning habits are needed so that this technology can support, not replace, the independent learning process.

Abstract

Dalam menciptakan karakter profesional dalam dunia kerja maka membutuhkan penerapan etika profesi dengan konsisten. Hal tersebut menjadikan pendidikan sebagai tolak ukur dalam menciptakan kinerja seseorang dengan baik. Dikarenakan pendidikan merupakan suatu tempat yang bermanfaat untuk merubah perilaku seseorang dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai moral dan karakter, supaya menciptakan kualitas yang baik. Pendidikan dimanfaatkan untuk dijadikan sumber daya manusia yang unggul di era sekarang Oleh karena itu tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah menerapkan etika profesi dalam menciptakan karakter profesionalisme Pada dunia kerja. Penelitian ini meliputi tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kejujuran, dan kerja sama tim. Sehingga dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa membantu individu dalam menghadapi tantangan pada dunia kerja. Berdasarkan sosialisasi dan kuisoner yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa SMP Negeri 5 Pangkalpinang pada dasarnya telah mengetahui apa itu etika dan bagaimana penerapannya di sekolah.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berawal dari masih terbatasnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai media penyebaran informasi dan layanan administrasi di banyak pesantren. Salah satunya adalah Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Ilzamun Maju Bahrin. Oleh karena itu, tim melakukan sosialisasi dan mengimplementasikan sistem berbasis web yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi sekaligus mendukung proses penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan sebagian besar fitur sistem memenuhi persyaratan (71,4%) dan sangat sesuai (14,3%). Guru dan staf merasa lebih mudah dalam mengelola konten (57,1%) dan menavigasi tata letak fitur sistem. Lebih lanjut, implementasi PPDB daring dinilai lebih efektif (85,7%) dan meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna (71,4%). Seluruh responden sepakat bahwa sistem ini berdampak positif terhadap kredibilitas pesantren, dengan 57,1% menyatakan siap mengelolanya secara mandiri. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berjalan sesuai rencana dan berdampak positif baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara teknologi, lembaga pendidikan tinggi, dan lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat mendorong transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan tata kelola yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Game berbasis edukasi merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam penerapan pembelajaran yang dapat mengasah kemampuan siswa dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi, melatih kegigihan, berfikir kritis, aktif, serta kreatif. Hal tersebut tentu sejalan dengan makna pembelajaran deep learning, yaitu sadar (mindful), menyenangkan (joyful), dan bermakna (meaningful). Namun, kurangnya kapasitas guru dalam memanfaatkan game edukasi khususnya pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi menjadi kendala yang dialami oleh Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Zula Bakam. Guru dituntut untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi game edukasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru beserta siswa di sekolah dasar untuk membantu kesiapan dalam pemberlakuan kurikulum deep learning, melalui pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, diskusi dan praktik. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan penyampaian materi tentang kurikulum deep learning, materi tentang game dan praktik penggunaan game. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui google form menunjukan bahwa 80% game AKSARANKASA mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran literasi. Selain itu, antusias dan interaksi siswa dalam belajar menggunakan game terbilang meningkat. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil. Umpan balik tersebut menunjukan kepuasan oleh mitra terhadap program pengabdian yang dilakukan.

Abstract

The number of tuberculosis (TB) sufferers in Bangka Regency tends to increase and is becoming a very serious public health problem. In 2023, there will be around 331,581 residents of Bangka Regency, with around 1,489 of them suffering from TB. The high number of TB cases in Bangka Regency requires comprehensive monitoring. Surveillance can be carried out by grouping TB cases by region. One clustering method is K-Means which groups data based on similar criteria. Researchers also used the Linear Regression method to predict the effect of population density on increasing TB prevalence. This research was conducted to cluster the distribution pattern of TB by region and identify the influence of population density variables on the increase in TB. Based on the results of the K-Means method analysis by looking at the Performance Davies Bouldin-Index (Dbi) test, researchers obtained a pattern of TB distribution which was categorized into: Areas with High Prevalence (Sungailiat), Medium Prevalence (Belinyu and West Mendo) and Low Prevalence (Bakam, Merawang, Pemali, Pudding Besar, and Riau Silip). Meanwhile, the prediction results show that there is a positive influence of 81% of the population density variable on increasing the number of TB spreads and 19% is influenced by other variables. The results of this research can be used as a reference for the Bangka District Health Service to assist decision-making in preventing an increase in TB cases.

Abstract

The toddler period is the period after birth up to the age of 59 months. During this period, the immune system in the toddler's body is not yet working optimally, so during this period the toddler is more vulnerable to attacks from various diseases. When a toddler is sick, it is not uncommon for parents to feel confused about what to do or misinterpret the symptoms experienced by the toddler. In conditions like this, the role of a doctor is very necessary. However, in reality, not all parents want to see a doctor, because of the high cost of treatment. Therefore, we need an expert system for diagnosing toddler diseases using the Certainty Factor method to support parents' ease in identifying symptoms and illnesses suffered by toddlers as early as possible. This study used 12 data on toddler illnesses with 51 symptoms. The results of this research show that from the 15 cases that were tested, the precession value was 86.66% and the recall value was 100%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that this system can be used by users to diagnose illnesses in toddlers. With this system, it is hoped that parents can determine the type of disease experienced by toddlers quickly, precisely, and efficiently.

Abstract

Kepulauan Bangka Belitung merupakan salah satu daerah Kepulauan dengan memiliki berbagai kekayaan alam yang sangat berpotensi untuk ditingkatkan  di sektor industri pariwisata,  Pariwisata salah satu tujuan yang paling diminati wisatawan saat ini, salah satunya adalah objek wisata pantai. Objek wisata pantai yang ada dikota sungailiat adalah Pantai Tanjung Pesona, Pantai Tikus Emas, Pantai Parai dengan menyimpan begitu pesona pantai yang menawan, namun permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah masih terbatasnya informasi Wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Pantai bagi Industri Pariwisata, Sistem informasi geografis pariwisata Kepulauan Bangka Belitung sangat diperlukan sebagai media dan sarana penyampaian informasi kepada Dinas Pariwisata Bangka Belitung strategi untuk meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan di pantai yang ada Bangka Belitung,  hasil mapping dengan menggunakan Google My Maps dan ArchGis sebagai tools untuk membantu dalam pemetaan titik lokasi wisatawan Pantai, sehingga dengan hasil Mapping ini didapatkan ilmu pengetahuan terkait jumlah wisatawan dan nantinya akan bermanfaat untuk menentukan strategi untuk peningkatan jumlah wisata Pantai, Mendapatkan lotitude longitude para Wisatawan pada masing masing peta Pantai, Dari total data Wisatawan yang didapatkan adalah 641 yang tersebar ditiap-tiap Wisata Pantai, Seluruh data dari hasil Mapping ini bisa dijadikan sumber untuk strategi peningkatan jumlah kunjungan wisata Pantai bagi pengelola Pantai, Terdapat juga ilmu pengetahuan terkait jumlah wisatawan masing-masing Pantai untuk meningkatkan fasilitas dan pelayanan yang ada pada sekitaran Pantai tertutama Pantai Parai yang lebih sepi pengunjung dibandingkan Pantai-pantai yang lain.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of supporting the improvement of the quality of education at the Ilzamul Maju Bahrin Islamic Boarding School in Kimak Village through the transformation of learning facilities that focus on literacy and a healthy lifestyle. This program was realized through the procurement and socialization of the use of a digital library system and the provision of sports facilities. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from teachers and students in trying and using the provided facilities. The digital library system was considered to facilitate access to various reading resources, thereby improving the culture of literacy within the Islamic boarding school environment. Meanwhile, the provided sports facilities encouraged students to be more active in maintaining their health and fitness. The evaluation of the activity, displayed in graphic form, showed the positive response of participants and the Islamic boarding school's readiness to manage this assistance sustainably. Thus, the transformation of learning facilities carried out not only has a short-term impact in the form of improved literacy skills and interest, but also has the potential to encourage transparency, professionalism, and the quality of education at the Islamic boarding school in the long term.
