Abstract

Soil strength is one of the important factors for hydrological, biological and chemical processes. Soil strength information is needed for a wide range of government and private sectors related to climate weather, potential runoff and flood control, soil erosion and slope, water resource management, geotechnical engineering and water quality. Soil strength information can also be used for weather prediction, early warning of drought, irrigation scheduling and harvest forecasting. In its application, microcontroller technology will be used which functions as an automatic regulating device to work according to input specifications. In this case, the Arduino Uno microcontroller and the Soil Moisture sensor were selected. The goal is to determine the strength of the soil to prevent landslides and to test the feasibility of the soil for the soil moisture sensor parameter in the soil..

Abstract

PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, which is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in the banking sector. The current employee performance appraisal information system is still being processed semi-manually using the Microsoft Excel application, so it takes a long time to browse the data and the use of sheet space is too wide. So it is necessary to develop a system in order to create a system that is faster, more precise and accurate using web-based applications. In this study, the authors used several methods, namely observation, interviews and literature study. The data obtained is then described in the form of UML (Unified Modeling Language) and uses the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. This employee performance appraisal information system will be tested using the Blackbox Testing method. The final result of writing this thesis is the formation of a system procedure using the UML program which describes the current system analysis and the proposed system design. In addition, the authors hope that the design of this new web-based application can shorten the process of evaluating employee performance precisely and accurately.

Abstract

A complaint is defined as something that is unpleasant or something that is disturbing. Complaint behavior of the whistleblower is a very important phenomenon that must be understood by the owner of the company because the impact is directly related to the whistleblower. Complaints from Whistleblowers are not always negative because complaints from Whistleblowers are a form of their concern for the company's products or services. Whistleblowers who make complaints do not mean that they do not like the company's products and services, but it could be because they really like the company's services so that they hope that with the complaint the company's products and services can be of higher quality. From this problem, a UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagram is made which describes the interaction relationship between the system and the actor. Use Case can describe the type of interaction between the user of the system and the system. The method used in designing this information system is MySQL, and the application that supports the need to find a customer data.

Abstract

PT Sahabat Waskita Teknik is a company that trades several heavy equipment for construction, industrial pumps and accessories located in the Central Jakarta area. This research aims to overcome the problem of managing consumer complaints that are currently manual and prone to human error. Therefore, to deal with these problems, a web-based consumer complaint information system was created with system modeling using the Unifed Modeling Language (UML) and using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database, so that it can overcome the problem of consumer complaints at PT. Sahabat Waskita Teknik more effectively and efficiently, bringing significant benefits to companies and consumers.

Abstract

PT Tetra Grosir Indonesia is a multipurpose store with various product categories. Currently, employee performance appraisal at PT Tetra Grosir Indonesia is still manual, causing problems such as fraud and errors in employee assessment. This process involves sending forms via WhatsApp, leading to delays and loss of information. In addition, the processing of the final report assessment results is still in paper form, which has the potential to be damaged or even lost. Therefore, to deal with these problems, a web-based employee performance appraisal application was created, in order to overcome problems of efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in the employee appraisal process. This application is designed and built using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database. With this application, it is expected to facilitate the employee appraisal process.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are activities that are held outside of class hours listed in the composition of the student activity program. Ksatrya High School is an educational institution under the care of the Perguruan Ksatrya Foundation. currently, the management of extracurricular data and registration of students who take part in extracurricular activities is still carried out manually, namely recording and registration which still uses forms in the form of google forms so that there is no complete information about extracurricular activities. There are no facilities available in managing extracurricular activities at school due to lack of utilization of information technology. Therefore, to handle these problems, a web-based extracurricular information system was created with system modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), the Laravel framework as a programming language and MySQL as a database, so as to help and facilitate the management of extracurricular activities at Ksatrya High School.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the implementation of computerized information systems has become an essential requirement for various business sectors, including the culinary industry. Kopi Kenangan, operating at the Cikini Gas Station since 2017, has seen an increase in the number of customers. However, the process of determining and managing the menu is still done manually, resulting in inefficiencies and high paper usage. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based menu information system at the Kopi Kenangan outlet at the Cikini Gas Station. The system is expected to enhance efficiency in menu management and improve customer satisfaction. The methodology used in this study includes system requirements analysis, system design using UML, and implementation using PHP and MySQL technologies, in addition to developing the application using the waterfall method. The result of this study is an information system that facilitates menu management, reduces errors, and speeds up the process of updating menu information at the Kopi Kenangan outlet.

Abstract

Information technology is crucial in enhancing business efficiency, especially through the internet. In Indonesia, motorcycles are the primary mode of transportation, creating a need for efficient maintenance services. Ramos Jaya Motor Workshop currently faces issues with its semi-manual service system, which relies on Excel and is prone to damage and virus attacks. This research designs and develops a web-based information system for vehicle services, using MySQL for the database, PHP for programming, and UML for system design. The system aims to facilitate online service reservations, improve data management, and enhance the accuracy and speed of reporting. This will streamline communication between vehicle owners and the workshop, improving overall service efficiency.

Abstract

PT Telkom Akses, a subsidiary of Telkom Indonesia, specializes in the construction of network infrastructure and provides high-quality and affordable internet connectivity. However, the company faces challenges in managing consumer complaints, which are currently handled manually, leading to potential human errors and inefficiencies. This research aims to design and develop a web-based consumer complaint management system to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the complaint process. The system is developed using PHP for programming and MySQL for the database. To ensure that the system meets user requirements, Unified Modeling Language (UML) techniques are employed, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. Black Box Testing is used to validate the system’s functionality and performance. The implementation of this information system is expected to streamline and improve the management of consumer complaints, particularly in the Muara Karang area, making the process more integrated, accurate, and user-friendly, thereby enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

With the rapid growth of the information technology (IT) industry, companies face various challenges in managing projects efficiently. PT. Bodha Dharmaja Aryadhana (BDA), as an IT solution provider, encounters difficulties in project scheduling, mainly due to the continued reliance on Excel spreadsheets, which have several limitations. These include restricted accessibility, insufficient support for team collaboration, lack of automation features, and the risk of data loss. To address these issues, this research develops a web-based project scheduling information system. The research uses observation, interviews, and literature studies for data collection. System modeling is conducted using UML, while the application is developed with PHP and the Laravel framework, alongside a MySQL database. System testing is carried out using the black box method to ensure its functionality operates correctly. By implementing this web-based information system, PT. BDA is expected to optimize resource utilization, minimize the risk of project delays, and enhance transparency and communication, ultimately improving client satisfaction..
