Abstract

The partnership between traditional birth attendants and midwives takes place in Indonesia without eliminating the existence of traditional birth attendants as a cultural heritage. The purpose of the study was to find out the various activities and problems in implementing the partnership in maintaining maternal and child health. Design research literature review, search for online articles at the Garuda Portal and Research Gate. The article review is followed by a synthesis using the article summary matrix. The results show the role of traditional birth attendants is the identification of new pregnant women, motivation for antenatal care and delivery by trained health workers, assisting midwives in childbirth, motivation if necessary referrals, education on healthy behavior during pregnancy and postpartum, postpartum maternal care, baby care, events culture according to local customs, and communication related to maternal and child health care. The role of the midwife is to conduct examinations of pregnant women, assist with childbirth, home visits for postpartum and newborn care, counseling on pregnancy-childbirth- postpartum and infant care, recording and referring cases if necessary. The problems are that not all traditional birth attendants have partnered for reasons of trust and economy, support from community leaders has not been optimal, partnership legislation has not been written, communication is hampered by language differences. Counseling to the community about the position of traditional birth attendants and midwives in maintaining maternal and child health, and guidance to all traditional birth attendants based-on the existing guidelines.

Abstract

Masa anak merupakan masa emas tumbuh kembang namun rentan pengaruh negatif. Penggunaan perangkat digital oleh anak memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif. Screen Dependency Disorder (SDD) perlu perhatian serta pencegahan. Pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang Screen Dependency Disorder. Sasaran penyuluhan adalah ibu dari anak usia 0-13 tahun. Pesan dalam bentuk infografis berisi pengertian, angka kejadian, gejala, jenis, dan cara pencegahan Screen Dependency Disorder. Penyebaran pesan dikemas dalam Google form yang terdiri dari bagian tes awal, infografis, tes akhir; kemudian dikirim via WhatsApp ke ibu. Sebanyak 68 ibu mendapat penyuluhan, sebagian besar berpendidikan SMA dan Perguruan Tinggi, berusia 20-35 tahun. Pengetahuan Screen Dependency Disorder ibu naik secara signifikan (p 0,007) sesudah penyuluhan, proporsi ibu berpengetahuan baik berubah dari 86,7% menjadi 92,6%.  Materi yang masih perlu diperkuat adalah gejala dan upaya pencegahan Screen Dependency Disorder. Infografis yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini bisa digunakan untuk penyuluhan ke sasaran ibu lainnya, serta digunakan bersama media lainnya agar efektifitasnya lebih meningkat.

Abstract

Background. Adolescents face many challenges and obstacles that come from within themselves and the environment, including health problems. Youth Integrated Service Post (Posyandu Remaja) is one of the youth empowerment efforts. Managers of Posyandu Remaja need to improve their communication skills. Objective. Increase the knowledge of Posyandu Remaja managers about health communication techniques for the community. Method. Workshop on health information communication techniques with 76 Posyandu Remaja managers. Results. Before the workshop the average knowledge score of participants was 7.87 and then changed significantly (p 0.037) to 8.26. Conclusion. The workshop increased the knowledge score about health communication techniques of Posyandu Remaja managers. Suggestion. Follow-up workshops on media materials and other materials needed in the management of Posyandu Remaja, including training of youth cadres. Abstrak Latar belakang. Remaja menghadapi banyak tantangan dan hambatan yang berasal dari dalam dirinya sendiri maupun lingkungan, termasuk masalah kesehatan. Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Remaja (posyandu remaja) merupakan salah satu upaya pemberdayaan remaja. Pengelola posyandu remaja perlu ditingkatkan keterampilannya dalam berkomunikasi. Tujuan. Meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi informasi kesehatan para pengelola posyandu remaja. Metode. Lokakarya Teknik Komunikasi Informasi Kesehatan dengan peserta pengelola posyandu remaja sebanyak 76 orang. Hasil. Sebelum lokakarya rata-rata nilai pengetahuan peserta 7,87 kemudian berubah  signifikan (p 0,037) menjadi 8,26.   Kesimpulan. Lokakarya meningkatkan secara signifikan nilai pengetahuan teknik komunikasi informasi kesehatan pengelola Posyandu remaja.  Saran. Lokakarya lanjutan materi media dan materi lain yang diperlukan dalam pengelolaan posyandu remaja termasuk pelatihan kader remaja.

Abstract

Background. Childhood is a golden period of growth and development, as well as being vulnerable to negative influences. The use of digital devices has both positive and negative impacts. Screen Dependency Disorder (SDD) is a child development problem that needs to be prevented. Objectives. Knowing the mother's perspective on the duration of digital device use, and SDD in children, and developing an SDD short video based on the mother's perspective. Method. Design is development research. The population is mothers of children aged 1-13 years with a total of 68 people, the total sample. Preliminary research explored the characteristics of the respondents, the perspectives of respondents about the length of use of digital devices and SDD in children, by using a questionnaire in the Google form distributed via WhatsApp. Data were analyzed by frequency distribution, as well as the Sommers'd relationship test. The results form the basis for developing and designing short videos. Results. As many as 63.2% of children use digital devices for more than two hours per day. As many as 50% of mothers have a good perspective on SDD in children. There is a significant relationship between age-mother's occupation, age-education of children, family income with the duration of use of digital devices. There is no significant relationship between all the characteristics of the respondents with the SDD perspective. The short video developed contains understanding and prevention of SDD. Conclusion. Short videos can be used by testing it first. Advocacy is needed to gain support for SDD prevention efforts.

Abstract

Hospitals as providers of quality health services face challenges in managing increasingly complex patient data. The data has not been optimally utilized by hospital management and has great potential to be analyzed and become a basis for decision-making. Optimization can be utilized by BPJS inpatient data at the Assyifa Sukabumi Islamic Hospital in the fourth quarter of 2024 using data mining techniques. The technique proposed in this study is the K-Means method to group BPJS patients based on certain variables such as age, gender, disease diagnosis, inpatient class, and length of hospitalization. The results of this study revealed that there were 3 clusters of 3526 patient data. Cluster 1 consists of 1545 patients with infectious diseases caused by microorganisms. Cluster 2 consists of 712 patients with diseases related to pregnancy, childbirth, or symptoms that must be identified through further clinical or laboratory examinations. Cluster 3 consists of 1269 patients with diseases associated with the respiratory system, digestive system, and blood circulation system. The evaluation showed that the grouping of BPJS patients with 3 cluster results had the best quality, with a Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 0.561. The study results can be a reference in planning the allocation of hospital resources. Suggestions for further research are the application of other data mining techniques in optimizing hospital data management

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the direct and indirect effects of knowledge, intention, and behavior related to drinking Blood Supplement Tablets and Eating Nutritious food, guided by the Theory of Planned Behavior, following education through video and comic media. Methods: This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental pre-post test two-group design. The sample size consists of 63 people, and the sampling technique employed is stratified sampling. Results: The direct effect of knowledge on actual behavior is -0.036, while the indirect effect is 0.006. The direct effect of attitude on actual behavior is 0.216, and the indirect effect is 0.027. Subjective norms have a greater indirect effect value of 0.035 compared to the direct effect value (-0.125). The same thing happens for the actual control variable, which has a direct effect value of 0.135 while the indirect effect is 0.052. The intention variable has a direct effect of 0.210 on actual behavior. Conclusion: Research shows that attitudes and intentions have a direct impact on healthy behavior, while knowledge, subjective norms, and behavioral control do not have a direct effect. These findings can serve as the basis for health education interventions, with suggestions for incorporating other behavioral models and exploring more diverse subjects.

Abstract

Background. In 2018, 48.9% of adolescent girls in Indonesia were diagnosed with anemia. Knowledge about the definition, symptoms, and prevention of anemia, including the correct use of Iron Supplement Tablets (IST), is essential in the prevention of anemia. A deeper understanding of these behaviors is necessary to formulate effective educational messages. The Health Belief Model (HBM) is often used to explore and understand preventive behaviors. Aim. To explore the determinants and practices of IST consumption among adolescent girls. Method. This descriptive qualitative study used a phenomenological approach. Participants were selected purposively from adolescent girls. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, transcribed, and analyzed by identifying themes in line with the study objectives. Results. Not all participants knew the definition of anemia, its symptoms, or preventive measures. However, participants were aware that IST could prevent anemia in addition to consuming healthy food. Some did not perceive themselves as vulnerable to anemia or did not see it as a serious threat. Barriers to IST consumption included its unpleasant taste and odor, and irregular availability at schools. Many participants lacked confidence in taking IST regularly, often forgetting, or needing reminders from parents or peers. Information about anemia and IST was obtained from school, parents, peers, and media. Despite knowing about IST, regular consumption every week was not consistently practiced. A wider and continuous educational approach using various methods and media is needed to increase adherence.

Abstract

Shopee is the number one most downloaded marketplace application on the App Store and Play Store. In its promotion, Shopee provides discounts on shipping costs, price discounts, and cashback for each transaction; however, not all of its users are satisfied with the service. There are criticisms and suggestions, one of which is conveyed via social media, Twitter. Sentiment analysis was conducted to extract information related to Shopee user reviews on Twitter. The stages of the research carried out followed the Cross Industry Standard Process for Data mining (CRISP-DM) method, namely Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, and Deployment. Data collection was carried out by scraping, and all classification processes were carried out using the RapidMiner tool. The data obtained tends to contain negative sentiment rather than positive; most reviews are made by buyers and discuss promos. Sentiment classification is carried out by applying the Naive Bayes Classifier and TF-IDF as feature extraction. Testing using 10-fold cross-validation and a Confusion Matrix resulted in an accuracy value of 84.20%, a precision value of 87.21%, and a recall value of 84.20%.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam pelayanan publik berbasis masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk implementasi yang penting adalah digitalisasi layanan pengelolaan pemakaman, yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual melalui pencatatan buku atau dokumen sederhana. Proses manual tersebut sering menimbulkan permasalahan seperti duplikasi data, keterlambatan dalam pencarian informasi, serta keterbatasan akses data oleh pihak yang berkepentingan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pengelolaan tempat pemakaman pada DKM Al-Furqon sebagai bentuk transformasi digital untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan masyarakat. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan mengacu pada pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini mampu memfasilitasi pengelolaan data makam, pendaftaran pemakaman baru, pencarian lokasi makam, hingga penyajian laporan yang lebih akurat dan cepat. Selain itu, sistem ini juga memberikan transparansi bagi masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi terkait status ketersediaan lahan dan administrasi pemakaman. Implementasi sistem informasi ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah dalam mendorong transformasi digital di sektor pelayanan publik dan mendukung tercapainya efisiensi serta akuntabilitas pengelolaan data berbasis komunitas (Kementerian Kominfo RI, 2021). Secara keseluruhan, penerapan sistem informasi pengelolaan tempat pemakaman di DKM Al-Furqon tidak hanya memperbaiki efisiensi administrasi, tetapi juga memberikan nilai tambah berupa peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, kemudahan akses informasi, serta mendukung gerakan digitalisasi layanan masyarakat.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kasus Covid-19 masih bertambah, promotor kesehatan dilatih agar menyuluh dengan materi serta metode sesuai kondisi pandemi agar masyarakat patuh melakukan perilaku pencegahan Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui perubahan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan Covid-19 setelah penyuluhan menggunakan berbagai metode. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif, disain pra eksperimen pre-pos tes. Penyuluhan oleh 92 promotor kesehatan dari 24 Kabupaten/Kota di Jawa Barat Bulan April 2021 dengan metode offline dan online dengan modul penyuluhan Covid-19 dari PPPKMI sebagai acuan materi. Sampel adalah sasaran penyuluhan 1.109 orang, dipilih secara purposif. Data pengetahuan diperoleh dari laporan praktek promotor kesehatan pasca pelatihan. Analisis beda pengetahuan dengan uji Wilxocon serta perhitungan efektifitas penyuluhan gave. Hasil: Sebanyak 69,9% sasaran penyuluhan berpengetahuan baik sebelum penyuluhan, meningkat menjadi 96,8% setelah penyuluhan. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan sasaran sebelum dan setelah penyuluhan dengan efektifitas tinggi. Penyuluhan langsung tatap muka, penggunaan video di WhatsApp memiliki efektifitas tinggi, namun efektifitas video conference sedang. Tidak berbeda signifikan perubahan pengetahuan sasaran yang tinggal di perdesaan dan perkotaan. Penyuluhan merubah pengetahuan efektifitas tinggi pada sasaran perempuan, namun efektifitas sedang pada sasaran laki-laki. Penyuluhan efektifitasnya tinggi bila dilakukan promotor kesehatan yang telah bekerja, namun efektifitasnya sedang bila promotor kesehatan belum bekerja. Kesimpulan: Metode penyuluhan offline dan online pada saat pandemi, efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan Covid-19. Modul penyuluhan Covid-19 dari PPPKMI bisa dipakai sebagai acuan materi penyuluhan.
