Abstract

Maternal emergencies require a triage system that is specific, rapid, and accurately documented to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. However, most hospitals still use general triage systems that are not tailored to obstetric complexity, and electronic medical records (EMRs) often lack dedicated obstetrical triage features. This study aimed to develop a digital obstetrical triage form based on the Obstetrical Triage Acuity Scale (OTAS) integrated into the EMR system of the PONEK unit at B-Type Hospital in Cimahi City. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation) model. The planning stage involved observation and focus group discussions. A prototype triage feature was developed for three categories: early pregnancy, late pregnancy, and postpartum. The evaluation phase included content validity assessment, system feasibility testing, and user satisfaction evaluation. The prototype enabled input of clinical data and automatic OTAS scoring, fully integrated into the hospital’s EMR. Content validity index (CVI) scores reached 1.00, indicating high validity. System feasibility was rated at 87.5% (very feasible), and user satisfaction averaged 4.4 out of 5. The OTAS-based obstetrical triage feature is valid, feasible, and well-received. It enhances clinical decision-making, documentation accuracy, and triage efficiency in maternal emergency care. ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan fitur lembar triase obstetri dalam Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) menggunakan pendekatan Obstetrical Triage Acuity Scale (OTAS) di ruang PONEK RS Tipe B di Kota Cimahi. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation). Tahapan perancangan dilakukan melalui FGD dengan tenaga medis dan IT rumah sakit untuk menggali kebutuhan sistem triase obstetri. Tahap produksi menghasilkan prototype fitur triase yang terdiri dari kategori kehamilan (awal, lanjut, dan pascapersalinan) dengan integrasi skoring otomatis OTAS. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui uji validitas isi, kelayakan sistem, dan kepuasan pengguna. Hasil menunjukkan validitas isi tinggi (S-CVI = 1.00), kelayakan sistem sebesar 87.5% (sangat layak), dan kepuasan pengguna rata-rata 4.4 dari 5. Fitur ini mendukung keputusan klinis cepat, dokumentasi akurat, dan efisiensi pelayanan maternal di PONEK. Kata Kunci: OTAS, RME, Triase Obstetri, Kegawatdaruratan Maternal, PONEK, R&D PPE

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' ability to understand the material of faith to the last day through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Trienggadeng for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The background of this research is the low understanding of students on the material of faith to the last day, which is shown from the pre-cycle average score of 60, below the Minimum Completeness Criterion (KKM) which is 70. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects amounted to 20 students, consisting of 12 women and 8 men. Data collection techniques include learning outcome tests, observation of teacher and student activities, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively by comparing results between cycles. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student understanding. In the first cycle, the completion percentage reached 70% with 15 students completing it. In the second cycle, the percentage of completeness increased to 85% with 17 students complete. The activities of students and teachers also showed an increase from the good category to excellent. Thus, the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model has proven to be effective in increasing students' understanding of the material of faith to the last day at SMP Negeri 3 Trienggadeng.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the crucial role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students’ character and to identify both supporting and inhibiting factors that influence their effectiveness at SD Negeri 3 Wameo, Baubau City. The problem addressed in this study lies in the challenges faced by PAI teachers in developing students’ moral and behavioral character amid varying family and social environments. This research employs a qualitative method with an inductive and descriptive approach to provide an in-depth understanding of how PAI teachers implement character education and how environmental factors affect the process. The findings reveal that PAI teachers play a significant role in guiding students toward positive character formation through exemplary behavior, moral instruction, and continuous mentoring. The supporting factors consist of internal elements such as students’ self-awareness, intrinsic motivation, and family participation, which contribute positively to character development. Conversely, the inhibiting factors include external aspects such as negative social influences and unsupportive peer environments that can weaken the teacher’s efforts in shaping moral values. Overall, the study concludes that the success of character education largely depends on the synergy between teachers, families, and the surrounding social environment.

Abstract

Low levels of knowledge and awareness of the importance of monitoring fetal well-being can have a negative impact, even triggering increased hemorrhage and intrauterine fetal death. (IUFD). The purpose of this case study is to raise the knowledge and awareness of pregnant mothers about the importance of monitoring the well-being of the fetus independently. This case study was shown to pregnant primegravid mothers at the age of 14-28 weeks of pregnancy to perform fetal movement calculations. The intervention used in this case study was an education and demonstration counting fetal movement for 12 hours. The results of the case study showed an increase in the mother's knowledge of fetal motion from 62.5 to 83.3 on the last day of the intervention. It could indicate that there was an increase in knowledge. Application of the fetal Movement count education to pregnant mothers gives awareness of the importance of fetal monitoring.

Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a time or period to connect the transition from child to adult. Problems often occur in adolescents, one of which is nutritional problems which cause anemia in adolescents. Purpose: To determine the relationship between body mass index and upper arm circumference with the incidence of anemia in adolescent women at SMAN 1 Mantewe Tanah Bumbu Regency in 2023. Method: This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional design. The data collection technique uses purposive sampling. The sample in this study was 92 teenage women in class 10 of SMAN 1 Mantewe. Statistical test analysis using spearman rho with the help of the SPSS version 25 computerized program. Results: There is a relationship between body mass index and the incidence of anemia in adolescent women at SMAN 1 Mantewe Tanah Bumbu Regency in 2023 with a value of ρ-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05 and There is a relationship between upper arm circumference and the incidence of anemia in adolescent women at SMAN 1 Mantewe Tanah Bumbu Regency in 2023 ρ-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. Conclusion: The relationship between body mass index and upper arm circumference with the incidence of anemia in adolescent women is a reference for schools to pay attention and carry out nutritional status checks every 6 months.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the toxic effects of purple leaf ethanol extract on lymph organs at doses of 500; 2.000; and 5.000 mg/kgBB administered for 28 days and and to determine the antioxidant activity of purple leaf Graptophyllum pictum (L.) This study is an experimental study with a random group design, using 20 test animals divided into 4 groups consisting of two treatment groups, namely in the normal control group given Na-CMC 0.5% and the experimental group given PLEE (k1: dose 500 mg/kgBB, k2: dose 2.000 mg/kgBB and k3: dose 5.000 mg/kgBB hematoxylin-eosin staining (HE) using a computer-connected Motic BA210 microscope with 40X magnification in 5 fields of view and antioxidant test using DPPH method with UV-Vis Spectrophotometer at 516 nm wavelength with concentration 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 ppm. The results showed that leaf ethanol extract was toxic at a dose of 2.000 mg/kgBB – 5.000 mg/kgBB against the diameter of lymphatic organ pulp, organ index and organ weight, there were symptoms of toxicity and purple leaf ethanol extract had strong antioxidant activity with 66.26 μg/mL.

Abstract

Pembinaan mental dan spiritual peserta didik menjadi aspek penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berakhlak, tangguh, dan berkepribadian seimbang di tengah tantangan era digital. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran emosional, motivasi diri, serta nilai-nilai spiritual siswa melalui workshop peningkatan kecerdasan emosional (Emotional Quotient/EQ) dan pelatihan public speaking Islami di SMAN 1 Baubau. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 16–17 Oktober 2025 dengan melibatkan 50 siswa aktif yang dipilih secara purposif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan praktik komunikasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam mengenali dan mengelola emosi, berkomunikasi positif, serta menumbuhkan niat dan keikhlasan dalam setiap aktivitas. Penguatan aspek spiritual juga tampak dari perubahan sikap siswa yang lebih disiplin, reflektif, dan berorientasi pada nilai-nilai religius.

Abstract

This article examines the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming learning boredom among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bungi. Learning boredom is one of the common problems in the learning process, characterized by a decline in students’ interest, motivation, and participation, particularly in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study aims to describe the forms of learning boredom experienced by students, analyze the factors contributing to learning boredom, and examine the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers to address this issue. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving Islamic Religious Education teachers and fourth-grade students. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that learning boredom is influenced by internal factors, such as low learning motivation and concentration, as well as external factors, including the use of less varied teaching methods and limited learning media. The efforts undertaken by Islamic Religious Education teachers to overcome learning boredom include varying teaching methods, utilizing simple instructional media, implementing active and enjoyable learning activities, and providing motivation and role modeling. This study concludes that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers is crucial in creating a conducive and engaging learning environment, thereby minimizing students’ learning boredom and enhancing the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students’ learning enthusiasm through the implementation of interactive quizzes and to analyze students’ responses to the use of these quizzes at SDN 2 Bataraguru. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The interviews were conducted in a semi-structured manner to explore information regarding learning strategies, the use of interactive quizzes, and students’ responses during the learning process. The results indicate that teachers applied various learning strategies, such as ice-breaking activities, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD), and the utilization of digital media such as Wordwall and Canva. The implementation of interactive quizzes was able to create a more dynamic learning atmosphere, increase student participation, and reduce boredom in learning. Students showed active and enthusiastic responses and became more confident in answering questions. Supporting factors in the implementation of interactive quizzes include the availability of facilities such as LCD projectors and adequate internet access. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include network disturbances and unfavorable weather conditions. This study concludes that interactive quizzes are an effective strategy for fostering students’ learning enthusiasm in Islamic Religious Education. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to continue developing innovative learning strategies that are in line with students’ needs.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of technology implementation in Grade X PAI learning at SMA Negeri 1 Siompu, South Buton Regency, specifically in terms of material understanding, learning motivation, and student independence, as well as to analyze teacher readiness and student responses to technology-based learning. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and Grade X students, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. Data validity was tested through source triangulation, method triangulation, and member checking. The findings reveal that the implementation of digital technologies such as Google Classroom, WhatsApp, and Google Meet effectively increased students' material understanding by 20-30%, significantly enhanced learning motivation, and rapidly developed student independence despite the school facing infrastructure limitations including limited electricity access and unstable internet networks. Teachers demonstrated good readiness through creativity in overcoming technical barriers with hybrid learning strategies and offline material provision. Students responded very positively with high enthusiasm and active participation in learning. This research contributes to achieving SDGs goal 4 on quality education and goal 10 on reducing inequalities by proving that technology can serve as a means of equalizing access to quality education in remote areas.
