Abstract

Aktivitas bimbingan belajar dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan hasil belajar dengan memecahkan masalah tugas pekerjaan rumah yang diberikan oleh guru kepada siswa dan materi yang kurang dipahami oleh siswa SD di Desa Sukamaju Kecamatan Wolowa Kabupaten Buton. Aktivitas bimbingan belajar dilakukan sebagai bagian pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang pelaksanaannya dilakukan selama 6 kali pada bulan November sampai dengan bulan Desember tahun 2023 dimana setiap pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar dilakukan dengan maksimal waktu 1 jam setiap kali pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar. Pelaksanan kegitan bimbingan belajar dilakukan dengan membuat komunitas bimbingan belajar di desa Sukamaju dari kelas 1 sampai dengan kelas 6 dilakukan dengan cara memeriksa pekerjaan rumah yang diberikan guru dari sekolah dan memecahkan masalah yang ditemukan siswa saat mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah kemudian membimbing siswa dengan cara menjelaskan kembali materi yang belum dipahami. Metode yang digunakan pada pelaksanaan aktivitas bimbingan belajar yaitu dengan melakukan bimbingan secara intensif dengan mengelompokan siswa berdasarkan kelas. Tujuan dilaksanakan bimbingan belajar agar dapat memecahkan kesulitan akan masalah-masalah belajar dari sekolah ataupun dari luar agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan hasil belajar. Kegiatan bimbingan belajar ini mendapatkan respon yang baik oleh orang tua siswa yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar desa Sukamaju dari awal kegiatan hingga kegiatan bimbingan belajar berakhir

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the principal's leadership style on teacher discipline levels at SD Negeri 2 Wameo, Baubau, Indonesia. The study employs a quantitative research method, with a total of 37 respondents in the population and the same number of respondents in the sample. The data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation, and the analytical method used in this research is simple linear analysis. The findings of the research show that there is a significant influence between the principal's leadership style and teacher discipline levels. The calculated t-value (3.060) is greater than the t-table value (1.689) and has a significant probability value of 0.04 which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the principal's leadership style has an impact on teacher discipline levels at SD Negeri 2 Wameo. The R square value of 0.221 indicates that the principal's leadership style influences teacher discipline levels by 22.1%, while the remaining 77.9% is affected by other factors that the researchers did not test.

Abstract

Pembentukan tata bahasa siswa melalui media pembelajaran animasi Camtasia berbasis kemaritiman merupakan sebuah pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Dengan menggunakan animasi Camtasia yang menitikberatkan pada konteks kemaritiman, siswa dapat mengalami pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan relevan.  Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif berbasis paradigma karena peneliti ingin menemukan fakta dan mengintrepestasikan satu asumsi dasar yang menjadi inti paradigma peneltian Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini, yaitu Wawancara, Teknik rekam, Teknik catat, dan Dokementasi. Analisis data merupakan suatu proses mengatur urutan data, mengorganisasikannya kedalam suatu pola, kategori, dan satuan uraian dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan animasi Camtasia di SD Negeri 1 Kaobula secara efektif mengenalkan konsep-konsep kemaritiman kepada siswa secara visual dan interaktif. Media animasi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran tata bahasa, tetapi juga memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap materi dengan elemen visual yang menarik. Lebih jauh lagi, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah tersebut telah berhasil memfasilitasi integrasi nilai-nilai kemaritiman dalam semua aspek pembelajaran, termasuk tata bahasa, sehingga meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap warisan budaya dan lingkungan siswa.

Abstract

Environmental-based learning media through animated videos in Elementary Schools is an effective innovation in improving students' understanding of the material being taught. By utilizing animation technology, abstract concepts in learning can be presented more interestingly and easily understood. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of teachers in implementing environmental-based learning media through animated videos. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach that aims to understand and describe the role of teachers in implementing environmental-based learning media through animated videos. The results of the study show that teachers have an important role in implementing environmental-based learning media through animated videos at Kaobula 2 Elementary School. As a media designer, teachers must adjust and select videos that are relevant to the curriculum and the environment around the students. In addition, teachers also act as a liaison between concepts and reality, inviting students to discuss and make direct observations after watching the video. In classroom management, teachers create an interactive learning atmosphere by encouraging discussion and collaboration between students. With this role, learning becomes more effective and meaningful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk hambatan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa tahun pertama program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tujuh mahasiswa dari latar belakang non-English-speaking. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat hambatan utama: hambatan linguistik (keterbatasan kosakata, grammar, dan pengucapan), hambatan psikologis (kecemasan, rendahnya kepercayaan diri), hambatan sosiokultural (stigma “sok Inggris”, penilaian teman sebaya), dan hambatan instruksional (metode pengajaran yang terlalu berpusat pada guru, minimnya praktik berbicara). Hambatan-hambatan ini saling berkaitan dan berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam proses belajar Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang lebih komunikatif, suportif, dan berbasis praktik. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan partisipan atau mengeksplorasi intervensi khusus untuk mengatasi hambatan tertentu

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas 2 SD IT Rumah Anak Soleh Buton. Jenis penelitian PTK yang dilakukan dalam II siklus, tiap siklusnya terdiri atas II pertemuan dengan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Teknik pengambilan data yag digunakan adalah lembar Observasi, lembar Tes, dan Dokumentasi. Berdasarkan teknik analisis data siklus I dan siklus II diperoleh hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I rata-rata 67,64 dengan ketuntasan 64% atau 9 orang siswa, dan tidak tuntas 36% atau 5 orang siswa, sedangkan pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 77,85 dengan ketuntasan 85% atau 12 orang siswa, dan tidak tuntas 15% atau 2 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran Cooperative tipe Two Stay Two Stray Berbantuan Media Kongrir dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 2 pada mata pelajaran matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan di SD IT Rumah Anak Soleh Buton.

Abstract

The social environment plays a crucial role in the process of forming student character. A conducive social environment can have a positive impact on students' moral and ethical development. Qualitative research is a research method that focuses on in-depth understanding of complex phenomena in real contexts. This approach is often used to answer complex questions and explore experiences, perceptions and meanings contained in them. The subjects of this research were 2 teachers, namely Class IV and Class V teachers. Qualitative data analysis is the process of systematically searching and compiling data. obtained from observations, interviews, field notes and documentation studies, organizing data into synthesis, compiling patterns, choosing what is important and what will be studied and making conclusions so that they are easy to understand. The research results show that social interaction, the role of the family, and the impact of the community environment around the school at Nganganaumala 1 State Elementary School are key elements in shaping students' character and moral values. Interactions that occur inside and outside the school environment provide opportunities for students to broaden their horizons about values ​​such as cooperation, empathy, and social responsibility. The role of the family as a model and supporter in the formation of positive attitudes and ethical values ​​also provides a strong foundation for students' personal. development

Abstract

Elementary school students’ understanding of the interrelationship between environmental, social, and economic aspects serves as a crucial foundation for fostering early awareness of sustainability. This study aims to analyze the effect of a contextual-based biology education approach on improving students’ understanding across five key aspects: environmental understanding, social understanding, economic understanding, analytical ability of interconnection, and sustainability awareness. The research employed a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The subjects consisted of 22 fifth-grade students divided into two groups: experimental and control. Instruments included tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent samples t-tests, linear regression, and multicollinearity tests. The results indicate that the contextual learning approach has a significant effect on all student understanding variables, with the majority of students in the experimental group achieving high scores, particularly in environmental understanding and sustainability awareness. The t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, while the regression analysis revealed a positive relationship between variable X and all Y variables. These findings support the effectiveness of contextual approaches as a holistic learning strategy in elementary education.

Abstract

Audio visual media also helps teachers in delivering materials systematically and efficiently. With the help of this media, students can focus more on the core of learning and easily connect theory with practice. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of science by using audio visual media in grade IV students of SD Negeri 2 Nganganaumala. This study is a PTK (classroom action research) study. Each task that will be carried out as part of the PTK in this study will use the Kemmis and MC Tanggart Spiral model which states that the task in question is one that involves a cycle of eight components including: (a) planning, (b) implementation, (c) observation, (d) reflection. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after corrective actions. In the pre-cycle, the majority of students had not completed, but after cycle I, the number of students who completed increased, accompanied by an increase in average scores. This proves that the interventions implemented began to have a positive impact. In cycle II, almost all students achieved completion with a higher average score. This shows that the learning strategies implemented are effective in improving student understanding and achievement, and can be used as a reference for improving future learning.

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a learning method that emphasizes solving real problems to improve student understanding. The aim is to determine the Application of Problem-Based Approach to Improve Social Studies Learning Outcomes in Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 2 Wameo. The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through the application of the Problem-Based Approach. CAR is carried out systematically in a classroom environment with the aim of improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. Based on the recapitulation results from the pre-cycle to cycle II, there was a significant increase in student learning completion after the application of the problem-based approach. In the pre-cycle, the majority of students had not achieved completion, but through improvements in learning strategies in cycles I and II, the number of students who completed continued to increase, while students who did not complete decreased. This success shows that more active and innovative learning methods can effectively improve student understanding. Thus, the problem-based approach can be used as a sustainable strategy to improve the quality of social studies learning.
