Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of interactive learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Citizenship Education (PKn) class XI MIPA MA Al-Barokah Malangbong. The place of this research is in Al-Barokah MA, Malangbong subdistrict, Garut regency. This type of research uses a quantitative method in the form of a pre-experimental design type of one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the jump from the average pretest score of 58.77 in the category below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) to the posttest average score of 80.90 in the category beyond the Completeness Criteria Minimum (KKM). In addition, a gain value of 0.51 was obtained through the normalized gain test which placed this interpretation in the medium category with the percentage of student learning outcomes 36.7% indicating a high increase, 13.3% indicating no increase or being in a fixed category, 40% showed a moderate increase and 10% showed a low increase. Therefore, the application of interactive learning strategies can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial (Medsos) telah merambah kehidupan masyarakat di era digital. Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE) menjadi payung hukum yang mengatur penggunaan media sosial di Indonesia. Penelitian pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat Desa Mekarsari, Kecamatan Cibatu, Kabupaten Garut, tentang UU ITE sebagai kontrol terhadap penggunaan media sosial. Kolaborasi antara Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia (Komeninfo) dan pemerintah daerah setempat dijalankan sebagai pendekatan dalam menyosialisasikan UU ITE dan memberikan edukasi tentang risiko hukum dari penggunaan Medsos yang tidak tepat. Metode pengabdian melibatkan penyusunan materi sosialisasi, pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan workshop di Desa Mekarsari Kecamatan Cibatu, Kabupaten Garut,, serta diskusi interaktif dan tanya jawab untuk memastikan pemahaman yang baik dari peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang UU ITE dan pentingnya mematuhi aturan hukum dalam bermedia sosial.

Abstract

In today's digital era, digital literacy has become a crucial factor across various sectors, including office administration. The transformation of office administration through digital literacy can enhance efficiency, productivity, and students' work skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital literacy training in the transformation of office administration at SMK Muhammadiyah Kadungora. The research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations before and after the training. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to assess changes in students' skills and understanding. The findings indicate that digital literacy training significantly improved students' understanding of office administration and related technical skills. Students experienced a notable increase in their ability to use office software, manage data, and communicate digitally.

Abstract

This research analyzes the tranformation of the governmentt system in west Java, focusing on Gedung Sate at a symbol of governance and culture. Built during the Dutch colonial period, Gedung Sate serves not only as an administrative center but also as a historical landmark reflecting Sundanese local wisdom. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and a case study design, this study explores historical phases, including the Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms, Dutch colonialism, Japanese occupation and the modern era. This transformation encompasses policy evolution and the integration of local wisdom values, such amutual cooperation (gotong royong) and community participation, into public administration processes. The findings reveal that incorporating cultural values into policies at Gedung Sate enhances government-community relations and reinforces Wesst Java’s cultural identity amidst modernization.

Abstract

Education plays a very important role in the quality of human life. It is realized that education is a process of changing one's behavior so as to achieve the expected quality of life. In human development, there are changes that are more or less permanent and cannot be repeated. Development refers to changes in a direction that are both fixed and progressive. The research method is a quantitative approach to this type of correlational research. The research design used was ex post facto and was conducted in class VIII SMP, Al-Musadadiyah. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling, which provides equal opportunities for each element or member of the population selected to be the research sample. After the data was collected for hypothesis testing, the product moment correlation test and the coefficient of determination test were used, which were processed with the help of SPSS 16 for Windows and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study describe that there is a relationship between the stages of cognitive development of students and the effort to understand population dynamics in social studies learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of Pancasila values, particularly the second principle just and civilized humanity in the development and application of civil law in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to analyze the extent to which the humanitarian values embodied in the second principle of Pancasila are integrated into the practice of the wakalah contract in murabahah transactions at Islamic banks. This study employs a normative juridical approach with qualitative analysis of legislation, DSN-MUI fatwas, and Islamic banking practices. The findings indicate that the wakalah contract reflects humanitarian values through the principles of trust, responsibility, and contractual justice, which align with the core principles of national civil law. This integration demonstrates that the national legal system is capable of accommodating Pancasila values within the framework of Islamic economic law.
