Abstract

Citizenship Education (PKn) has an important role in forming the character of the younger generation who are active, critical and have a national perspective. However, the dominant conventional learning methods, such as lectures and memorization, are often less effective in encouraging active student involvement. This research aims to identify and analyze innovative learning methods that can improve students' active character and critical thinking abilities. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving observation, interviews and document analysis in several educational institutions. The research results show that methods such as project-based learning, flipped classes, the use of interactive multimedia, collaborative discussions, and simulations are effective in increasing students' active participation, learning motivation, and analytical abilities. This method is also relevant to the learning needs of the 21st century, which demands collaboration, digital literacy, and contextual problem solving. This research informs innovative integration methods into the Civics curriculum, ongoing teacher training, and the provision of adequate technological infrastructure to support implementation

Abstract

In the fast-paced era of globalization, preserving local cultural resilience poses a unique challenge. Kampung Adat Cireundeu in West Java is an example of a community that has successfully maintained its local wisdom amidst the currents of modernization. This research examines the strategies for cultural resilience in Kampung Adat Cireundeu and the role of the government in supporting its sustainability. The study found that cultural preservation in Kampung Adat Cireundeu begins within the family environment, building self-awareness among young generations through traditional approaches such as "lengkah munggaran," house spatial arrangements, and strengthening family communication. Traditional-based education in the "bale atikan" serves as a medium for delving into local traditions. Support from the central government is manifested through legal protection, such as the recognition of cassava rice ("rasi") and the "Tutup Tahun Saka Sunda" traditional ceremony as Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). However, at the local government level, support remains suboptimal in terms of infrastructure development. This research emphasizes the importance of synergy between indigenous communities, the central government, and local governments in maintaining cultural resilience. Efforts that can be undertaken include the development of cultural infrastructure, capacity building for indigenous communities, and the integration of culture into local education. With a holistic approach, Kampung Adat Cireundeu can serve as a real-world example of success in preserving local wisdom in the midst of modernization.

Abstract

Extraordinary crisis of morality along with the development and progress of the times. So understanding the historical values of struggle, especially nationalism, is important. The former Fort Vredeburg building was not intended for the purpose of preserving a symbol of Dutch colonial might and glory, but was directed to obtain a new function that could provide information and aspirations of the national struggle for future generations. For this reason, the Fort Vredeburg building is used as a museum of the National Struggle which is unique and second to none in Indonesia, so this research was conducted to determine the existence of the Fort Vredeburg Museum in Yogyakarta as a means of nationalist education. This research is qualitative research using literature study methods from various sources. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. The results of the research are: first, Understanding Nationalism of PPKn IPI Garut Students After a Visit to the Fort Vredeburg Museum. This proves that a visit to the Fort Vredeburg Museum can provide students with an understanding of nationalism by being able to enrich information. Second, the use of the Vredeburg Fort Museum Gallery as a means of nationalist education. This means that the Museum Gallery can provide nationalist education with interesting visualizations.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of Pancasila values, particularly the second principle just and civilized humanity in the development and application of civil law in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to analyze the extent to which the humanitarian values embodied in the second principle of Pancasila are integrated into the practice of the wakalah contract in murabahah transactions at Islamic banks. This study employs a normative juridical approach with qualitative analysis of legislation, DSN-MUI fatwas, and Islamic banking practices. The findings indicate that the wakalah contract reflects humanitarian values through the principles of trust, responsibility, and contractual justice, which align with the core principles of national civil law. This integration demonstrates that the national legal system is capable of accommodating Pancasila values within the framework of Islamic economic law.

Abstract

Kader Posyandu memiliki peran strategis dalam menyampaikan informasi terkait program kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Namun, masih banyak kader yang menghadapi kendala dalam keterampilan komunikasi efektif sehingga berpengaruh terhadap tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan Posyandu. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh IPI Garut di Desa Mulyajaya, Kecamatan Banjarwangi pada bulan Agustus 2025 dengan tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi kader Posyandu. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan meliputi presentasi, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), dan role playing. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi yang signifikan. Nilai rata-rata pre-test dari 20 kader adalah 64,65, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 76,7, dengan selisih peningkatan sebesar 12,05 poin. Peningkatan keterampilan ini berdampak positif terhadap meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan Posyandu. Meskipun demikian, kader masih membutuhkan pelatihan lanjutan terutama dalam pemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi dan media sosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan program pelatihan berkelanjutan disertai monitoring dan evaluasi untuk memastikan kualitas komunikasi kader Posyandu terus berkembang.

Abstract

Keraton Yogyakarta, sebagai pusat kebudayaan Jawa, memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan dan pelestarian seni tradisional di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Keraton Yogyakarta sebagai pusat pendidikan kebudayaan tradisional dan pelestarian seni, dengan fokus pada kesenian tradisional, kepercayaan masyarakat, dan daya tariknya sebagai destinasi wisata budaya bagi pelajar dan turis. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggabungkan studi literatur dan wawancara dengan seorang abdi dalem Keraton Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Keraton Yogyakarta tidak hanya menjadi simbol budaya Jawa, tetapi juga menjalankan fungsi pendidikan melalui pelatihan seni tradisional seperti tari, karawitan, dan aksara Jawa. Meskipun globalisasi membawa ancaman terhadap budaya lokal, Keraton Yogyakarta tetap konsisten melestarikan tradisi melalui pagelaran seni dan pendidikan berbasis budaya. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Keraton Yogyakarta mempertahankan identitas budaya Jawa sebagai bagian dari statusnya sebagai kota pelajar dan istimewa.
