Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic passed, digital transformation occurred, namely the use of technology in various activities of human life, including at work. Regardless of age, position, or educational background, we all have to learn so as not to be left behind. Cleaning service (CS) work has been seen as easy and does not require technology, except for WhatsApp Messenger or Group communication tools. The ship engine distributor company has office and warehouse areas that require CS services to maintain cleanliness. So far, coordination of work or the presence of CS personnel has been carried out through face-to-face briefings and WhatsApp. However, after restrictions on meeting (physical distancing), PSBB, etc., it seems that the use of WhatsApp is considered insufficient to accommodate work needs in the field for CS. This research aims to design a Cleaning service application to handle difficulties in the field for managing work and reports. The system development method used is the Waterfall Model method. The results of this research aim to provide convenience for CS coordinators and companies in managing CS performance, making reports, and improving the quality of cleaning services in the field.ABSTRAKSetelah masa pandemi Covid-19 berlalu, terjadi transformasi digital yaitu penggunaan teknologi pada berbagai aktivitas kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam bekerja. Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed people's habits, including in the use of online transportation. Innovation in online transportation services makes it easier for consumers and drivers to find each other's locations find out the driver's identity, vehicle type, and save time. However, competition between online transportation applications often makes consumers compare prices from one platform to another manually. This is time-consuming and makes consumers prefer applications that offer cheaper prices, even though it requires more effort. This study is a price comparison system based on Progressive Web Apps (PWA) that allows consumers to compare prices from several online transportation applications more efficiently. This PWA-based system can be accessed via desktop or mobile devices, providing greater ease of access. In developing this system, the Waterfall method is used, where users are involved from the early stages to provide feedback so that the system can be adjusted to their needs. Comparative analysis is carried out to find similarities and differences in prices between online transportation applications. This study focuses on two main problems: how to design a website that is connected to various online transportation applications, and how the price comparison system works efficiently. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution for consumers who often compare prices between platforms manually, as well as to form a PWA-based price comparison system that facilitates access via mobile devices. The benefits of this research include increasing efficiency for consumers in choosing online transportation services, as well as encouraging healthier competition between online transportation companies through more competitive price offers. The implementation of responsive PWA to compare prices in real-time, provides a better and more efficient user experience.

Abstract

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal disorders experienced by women of reproductive age and can lead to various health problems, including menstrual irregularities, infertility, and an increased risk of metabolic diseases. Early detection of PCOS is essential to minimize long-term impacts and improve the quality of life for patients. This study aims to identify effective data preprocessing strategies to enhance the performance of classification models for PCOS detection. The dataset used is open source, consisting of 541 participants with 45 clinical and laboratory features. The main challenges encountered include the presence of many missing values, an imbalanced target class distribution, and a large number of independent features. To address these issues, a series of preprocessing steps were applied, including missing value imputation, data balancing using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), and dimensionality reduction using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). A classification model was built using the Random Forest algorithm, and its performance was compared before and after applying PCA. The evaluation results show that before PCA, the model achieved an accuracy of 87.5%, precision of 86%, recall of 86%, and an F1-score of 86%. After applying PCA, performance improved to an accuracy of 90%, precision of 89%, recall of 89%, and an F1-score of 89%. These findings indicate that the right combination of preprocessing strategies, particularly SMOTE and PCA, can significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of models in detecting PCOS, thereby supporting the development of more reliable medical decision support systems.

Abstract

A network equipment company specializing in the provision of switches and servers still faces challenges in stock management because the recording of outgoing goods and inventory withdrawal transactions is still done manually using notebooks and Excel. This condition causes problems such as delays in data updates, difficulties in monitoring stock availability in real time, and the risk of discrepancies between data and conditions in the warehouse. The objective of this research is to design and implement a web-based inventory application using a pull inventory approach, where stock is recorded only upon actual demand from projects or customers. This strategy helps reduce the likelihood of overstocking or understocking. Based on testing results, the developed application can support the recording of outgoing goods, provide real-time availability information, and generate useful reports for management, thereby supporting the efficiency, accuracy, and integration of the company's business processes.
