Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian adalah kepribadian siswa/i yang introvert dan ekstrovert diduga memiliki pengaruh dalam perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh pengaruh antara kepribadian terhadap perilaku konsumtif karena faktor kematangan dengan usia yang masih rentan, labil dan status sosial untuk diakui oleh lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dengan populasi berjumlah 230 siswa/i dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 34 siswa/i dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil perhitungan uji normalitas didapat Lohitung< Lotabel yaitu subyek (x) = 0,031552941 < 0,151 dan subyek (y) = 0,088235294 < 0,151. Hasil perhitungan uji homogenitas didapat Fhitung < Ftabel (1,29< 1,82). Pengujian Hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai koepisien product moment dan uji t didapat thitung > ttabel (10,42 > 1,69236) yang berarti H0 ditolak. Hasil Penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan kepribadian terhadap perilaku konsumtif, terlihat dari kepribadian introvert karena kurang bersosialisasi sehingga keputusan konsumtif pada diri sendiri, sedangkan ekstrovert dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sosial yang lebih dominan. Kesimpulan penelitian kepribadian berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif apabila siswa/i tidak memiliki kekuatan karakter yang kuat sehingga mudah dipengaruhi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal.

Abstract

This research departed from the conditions an Islamic elementary school faces in preparing education planning, especially curriculum design and lesson plan required to adapt to changes, especially in the current pandemic conditions. Therefore, this study aimed to know the adaptability of school principal and teachers in curriculum design and lesson plan during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative approach, while the case study method is used. The data collection process is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Then for data validity using triangulation. The data analysis includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The subjects of this study were the school principal and the teachers at Al-Istiqlal Islamic elementary school Karawang. The results showed that the COVID-19 pandemic became a momentum for teachers and principals to adapt curriculum design and lesson plan in the 21st century. Various efforts are made in preparing curriculum design, namely making the curriculum essential, compiling learning tools, and preparing digital platforms for teaching and learning activities. The adaptability of school principal in designing curriculum is by creating a primary curriculum. Teachers’ adaptability in making a lesson plan formulated and designed previously by the curriculum team, school principal, and the head of the foundation. It needs to be done because learning activities during the pandemic have changed the learning process and methods; it requires planning for a new curriculum design and lesson plan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of organizational commitment and job satisfaction on high school principals’ affective commitment. The research employed a quantitative survey. The samples researched were 90 senior high school principals in Jakarta. The data were collected through a series of questionnaires. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The results indicated that: 1) organizational commitment gave a positive direct effect on the principals’ affective commitment; 2) job satisfaction gave a significant direct effect on the principals’ job satisfaction, and 3) organizational commitment gave a positive direct effect on the principals’ job satisfaction. The present research implies that the provincial education board is strongly suggested to keep performing fair procedural justice prescribed by regulations to maintain the principals working satisfactorily and feeling attached to their schools.

Abstract

With the advancement of information technology, social media has become an integral part of daily life, including in the field of education. However, the use of social media in the learning environment is not exempt from information security challenges that can impact the effectiveness and sustainability of the learning process. This research aims to examine educational management strategies to address information security challenges in the use of social media in learning environments. The study employed an extensive review of existing literature through qualitative analysis to gain a comprehensive insight into the subject, covering the period from 2017 to 2023. The study's findings indicate that, in addressing the complexity of information security challenges related to the use of social media in learning environments, a holistic educational management approach is necessary. Awareness of risks, the development of clear policies, the selection of secure technologies, external collaboration, and continuous monitoring are key factors in creating a safe and innovative learning environment.

Abstract

In this rapidly evolving digital era, the use of social media has become an integral part of daily life, including among students, teachers, and parents in educational environments. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of social media usage in efforts to enhance communication and collaboration in educational settings. The method employed in this research is a qualitative literature review utilizing data sourced from Google Scholar spanning from 2020 to 2024. Key search terms included social media, communication and collaboration, and education environment. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The qualitative data analysis process involves several steps, such as organising the data, forming themes or patterns, and interpreting the findings from the scientific articles used. The study's findings reveal that in the continuously evolving digital era, social media usage has become a crucial aspect across various domains, including education. The analysis of social media usage in enhancing communication and collaboration in educational environments highlights its significant potential to increase participant engagement, facilitate the exchange of ideas, and broaden the reach of educational information. However, the utilization of social media also necessitates a careful and responsible approach to address associated challenges and risks.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on teachers' creativity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Karawang Regency. Most teachers adhere to conventional teaching approaches and do not incorporate novel concepts or advancements, as evidenced by the 65% success rate. The data was analyzed using quantitative methodology, which included surveys and analytical techniques. The study found that transformational leadership significantly impacted teacher creativity. The T-Statistics values of 3.331 exceeded the critical T-table value of 1.699, and the P-Values of 0.000 were less than the significance level of 0.05. The research hypothesis states that transformational leadership positively affects teacher creativity in Karawang.

Abstract

Abstract The lack of teacher participation in the preparation of the RKAM has an impact on the disbursement of BOS funds of Private Madrasah Ibitdaiyyah in Karawang Regency. The initial assumption is the teacher's lack of knowledge regarding the RKAM , the level of participation in determining the RKAM and the factors that influence it . The study used a survey method of data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire in the form of an attitude scales/scaled distributed among/over 301 respondents , strengthened by documentation studies and FGDs with key informants and informants. The results showed (1) teachers ' understanding of RKAM both in the aspect of activity planning, budgeting and operation of the e-RKAM system was very low; (2)Teacher participation in determining the RKAM both in determining the vision, mission, values, goals, targets is low; (3) The lack of socialization of the RKAM, the limited opportunities given to teachers to participate, in addition, the internal factors of teachers related to age, tenure and employee status and limitations in operating the e-budget have an impact on the low participation of teachers in determining the RKAM. For this reason, it is recommended that madrasas should socialize and provide opportunities for teachers to participate in RKAM, and the government will create a teacher participation system in RKAM.   Abstrak Minimnya partisipasi guru dalam penyusunan RKAM berdampak pada pencairan dana BOS di Madrasah Ibitdaiyyah Swasta di Kabupaten Karawang. Asumsi awal adalah kurangnya pengetahuan guru terkait RKAM, tingkat partisipasi dalam penetapan RKAM dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dalam bentuk skala sikap yang disebar terhadap 301 responden, diperkuat dengan studi dokumentasi dan FGD dengan informan dan narasumber kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Pemahaman guru terhadap RKAM baik pada aspek rencana kegiatan, penganggaran dan pengoperasian sistem e-RKAM sangat rendah; (2) Partisipasi guru dalam penetapan RKAM baik dalam penetapan visi, misi, nilai, tujuan, sasaran rendah. (3) Kurangnya sosialisasi RKAM, terbatasnya kesempatan yang diberikan pada guru untuk berpartisipasi, selain, faktor internal guru terkait usia, masa kerja dan status pegawai dan keterbatasan dalam pengoperasian e-anggaran berdampak terhadap rendahnya partisipasi guru dalam penetapan RKAM. Untuk itu direkomendasikan madrasah hendaknya mensosialisasikan dan memberi kesempatan guru untuk berpartisipasi dalam RKAM, dan pemerintah membuat sistem partisipasi guru dalam RKAM.

Abstract

Globalization has brought significant challenges in preserving cultural identity and shaping student character. This study aims to examine the role of local wisdom-based educational management in shaping student character in the era of globalization. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained from 25 articles selected from an initial 50 articles found on Google Scholar between 2007 and 2024. Descriptive analysis is used to identify patterns and main themes from the relevant literature. The findings show that integrating local wisdom into education, such as through cultural arts, oral traditions, and local philosophy, can build student character that is moral, creative, and has a strong cultural identity. Case studies from various regions in Indonesia, such as Bali, Yogyakarta, and Papua, demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in supporting character development while enhancing student competitiveness. This study suggests the importance of flexible policies, teacher training, and collaboration between schools, government, and communities to support the sustainable implementation of local wisdom-based education

Abstract

This study aims to explore effective classroom management and student behavior management strategies in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, data was collected from 16 selected articles from Google Scholar (2012-2024). The findings indicate that establishing clear rules, utilizing technology, involving parents, and developing social skills are key strategies in creating a positive learning environment. By leveraging digital applications and platforms, teachers can enhance student engagement and reduce negative behavior. The implications of this research emphasize the need for teacher training and collaboration with parents to support behavior management. This study is expected to contribute to the development of better educational practices in the digital era and open opportunities for further research on student behavior management in broader contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-efficacy on teacher creativity in the learning process. The research used is a type of quantitative research using a causality approach. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Questionnaires were given to 210 teachers who were the research sample using a survey method with one-way analysis. The collected data was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment (PPM) statistical test which was then used as a basis for drawing conclusions regarding the hypothesis used. The results of hypothesis testing show that self-efficacy has a direct and significant effect on teacher creativity. The self-efficacy indicator that has the most influence on teacher creativity is the Personal Skills indicator.
