Abstract

Guru sebagai sebuah profesi, memperolah martabatnya melalui pengakuan atas profesi dan kinerjanya baik secara formal maupun informal melalui pengakuan dari masyarakat pengguna jasa profesi tersebut. Di tengah perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, khususnya arus globalisasi dan informasi, guru harus terus meningkatkan profesionalismenya melalui beragam cara  baik karena kesadaranya sendiri maupun melalui program-program yang disediakan pemerintah untuk mengembangkan kompetensinya. Artikel ini ditulis melalui pendekatan kajian litertur kepustakaan yang relevan. Sumber Data yang digunakan adalah  kajian teoretik untuk membahas permasalahan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru yang berkarakter dalam mengembangkan profesinya dilakukan dengan kegiatan sebagai berikut: (1) menulis karya tulis/karya ilmiah (KTI) di bidang pendidikan; (2) Membuat alat pelajaran/alat peraga atau alat bimbingan; (3) Menciptakan karya seni; (4)  Menemukan teknologi tepat guna di bidang pendidikan; dan (5) Mengikuti kegiatan pengembangan kurikulum, dan mengikuti kegiatan  pengembangan profesionalitas guru secara berkelanjutan Continuous Professional Development (CPD) seperti mengikuti  kegiatan pelatihan tentang substansi pembelajaran, metodologi, maupun kegiatan pembelajaran berbasisi online.

Abstract

Universities and education now require quality assurance to ensure the quality of education. The implementation of a quality assurance system that already underway requires an internal audit process to ensure the quality process continues. Internal audit has an important role in management. Internal quality assurance is carried out through a cycle of establishing, implementing, evaluating, controlling, and increasing the standards of higher education. "Internal quality audits are part of the cycle of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). A quality audit is not an assessment/assessment but rather a matching between the implementation and planning of an activity/program."

Abstract

Employment is such kind of a very rare opportunity for the poors unable to attend formal schoolings. This research is examining the implementation effectiveness of skills based education program designed by the government through grant and scholarship to reduce the poverty and unemployment. It also tries to compare the design and its result to find whether the program was effectivey implemented or not. This research uses qualitative method through CIPP evaluation model. The research found that in a policy layer, context and input  evaluation steps, the life skills education program is comprehensively thought and considered as it covers aspects including the regulation, the program guidance, the fund aids, the curriculla, the guide for selected institutions ,the report mechanism. While at the process and product evalauation steps, the reserach found that there were huge gaps in implementation especially at the placement at the industries. There were only less than 10% of participants entering to work fields while most of its program participants work only as a parttimers which don’t provide reguler income,.So the target of decreasing the poverty and reducing the unemployment was not well measured.

Abstract

Bidik Misi "(BM) is an extraordinary scholarship provided by the Government of Indonesia with two criteria main: economic needs and academic performance, and added a test Islamic Education at private universities. Since its introduction in 2010, the number of candidates has increased every year, causing difficulties in choosing the most qualified candidates. This study aims to find the effectiveness of the recruitment of participants in scholarship programs for the poor and how to develop the quality of educational resources in Indonesia. Although they have requirements that are not the same as regular students in participating in the admission process at universities, this study shows that private universities can develop the quality of human resources through the BM program.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on teachers' creativity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Karawang Regency. Most teachers adhere to conventional teaching approaches and do not incorporate novel concepts or advancements, as evidenced by the 65% success rate. The data was analyzed using quantitative methodology, which included surveys and analytical techniques. The study found that transformational leadership significantly impacted teacher creativity. The T-Statistics values of 3.331 exceeded the critical T-table value of 1.699, and the P-Values of 0.000 were less than the significance level of 0.05. The research hypothesis states that transformational leadership positively affects teacher creativity in Karawang.

Abstract

Sekolah sebagai salah satu bentuk organisasi pada bidang pendidikan tidak luput dari perlunya melakukan administrasi sekolah. Dalam pelaksanaannya kegiatan administrasi sekolah khususnya pada sekolah swasta sampai saat ini masih dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah yang dibantu dengan staf adminstrasi sekolah yang ditunjuk. Padahal mereka secara resmi tidak dibekali oleh ilmu tentang administrasi sekolah atau perkantoran. Nampaknya, salah satu upaya yang diduga paling tepat adalah berfokus pada unsur para Kepala Sekolah sebagai pelaksana kegiatan administrasi sekolah yang tentunya tanpa mengabaikan unsur-unsur yang lainnya. Kemungkinan yang terjadi jika mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang cukup tentang kegiatan administrasi ini dan tidak adanya tenaga khusus yang menangani kegiatan sekolah seperti pegawai administrasi, maka para kepala sekolah kemungkinan besar akan mengalami banyak kesulitan dalam menangani segala bentuk admistrasi sekolah pada semua bidang seperti surat menyurat yang diperlukan dan kearsipan sekolah. Melalui upaya peningkatan kemampuan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan administrasi sekolah kepada para Kepala Sekolah dan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah, diharapkan mereka dapat menerapkan dan memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan administrasi sekolah khususnya dalam korespondensi dan kearsipan sekolah pada para Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah di sekolahnya masing-masing. Dengan dilakukannya administrasi sekolah yang baik maka diharapkan mutu sekolah akan terealisasi. Upaya peningkatan kemampuan Kepala Sekolah dan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah dalam melaksanakan kegiatan administrasi sekolah dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai jenis upaya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah diberikan pendampingan tentang kemampuan melakukan penyelenggaraan administrasi sekolah secara sistematis, yaitu melatih keterampilan korespondensi dan kearsipan yang berisi semua data-data dari setiap komponen sekolah. Bentuk kegiatan adalah pendampingan berupa workshop yang dirancang selama dua hari.

Abstract

Elementary school administration is an activity to support the success of thequality of education in elementary schools. The scope of school administration activitiesincludes the management of official letters and school archives. Management of officialletters and archives in primary schools is carried out by the principal, assisted by a schooloperator. Their ability to manage official documents and school archives is still lacking.Efforts to increase the capacity of school principals and elementary school administrativepersonnel can be provided with training on managing official letters and school archives.The object (target audience) of the training activities is 150 people consisting of 2elementary school supervisors, 58 school principals, 83 school administration staff and 7SDN teachers in Jatinegara sub-district. The partners involved are the Regional EducationOffice of East Jakarta Administrative City. The training has been carried out for a day onThursday, October 8, 2020 through virtual zoom cloud metting. The training materialconsists of: school leadership and administration, management of official letters andmanagement of school records. The three materials were delivered by 3 lecturers of the UNJFIP Education Management study program with the lecture, question and answer andassignment method. The results of the training were very satisfying to the participants andthe organizing committee, because all the materials had been delivered well and were veryuseful for all training participants.

Abstract

The management of official letters and archives in elementary schools is carried out by the principal assisted by a school operator. Their ability to manage official letters and school archives is still very lacking. Efforts to improve the capacity of principals and elementary school administration personnel can be given training on the management of official letters and school archives. The object (target audience) of the training activity was 25 heads of elementary schools in Pulo Gadung sub-district. The partners involved are the Tribe of the Education Office Region I of the East Jakarta Administration City. The training has been carried out for a day on Monday, August 15, 2022 via virtual with zoom cloud metting. The training materials consist of: entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in schools; the role of the principal in entrepreneurship; and primary school entrepreneurship management. The three materials were delivered by 3 lecturers of the Education Management study program FIP UNJ with lectures, questions and answers and assignments. The results of the training were very satisfying for the participants and the organizing committee, because all the material had been delivered well and was very useful for all training participants.

Abstract

This research aims to find out that the impact of the MBKM program can contribute to improving the quality of student graduates at FIP ​​UNJ. The research method used is a survey, using a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this research was carried out using a questionnaire designed in the form of a statement with a Likert assessment, then distributed via Google form involving a sample of 323 FIP UNJ students. The sampling technique of 323 respondents as samples in this study used the technique (Proportional random sampling), namely the sample by paying attention to the proportion of the population elements. The results of this study are that FIP ​​UNJ students tend to have a positive perception of MBKM, which is considered to strengthen experiential learning, improve hard skills and soft skills, and prepare them for the world of work. MBKM contributes significantly to improving the quality of graduates and the suitability between education and work after graduation. This program also supports the development of students' intelligence and personality. However, there are several obstacles in its implementation, such as lack of socialization and cooperation with industry, which can be overcome through increased socialization, cooperation, monitoring, evaluation, and provision of adequate resources to increase the effectiveness of the program.

Dalam pelaksanaannya kegiatan manajemen kurikulum khususnya pada sekolah swasta sampai saat ini masih belum menerapkan secara keseluruhan terkait pembelajaran dan asesmen kurikulum merdeka. Padahal penerapan kurikulum merdeka sangat tepat untuk diterapkan dalam era industri 4.0 seperti saat ini. Nampaknya, salah satu upaya yang diduga paling tepat adalah berfokus pada unsur para guru sebagai pelaksana manajemen kurikulum. Kemungkinan yang terjadi jika mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang cukup tentang kurikulum merdeka ini, maka kemungkinan besar akan mengalami banyak kesulitan dalam mengikuti perkembangan kurikulum merdeka di era industri 4.0. Melalui upaya peningkatan kemampuan dengan cara melakukan pendampingan guru tentang manajemen kurikulum merdeka, diharapkan mereka dapat menerapkan dan memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan tersebut dengan baik. Dengan dilakukannya pendampingan guru dalam manajemen kurikulum yang baik, akan mengantarkan sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Upaya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan manajemen kurikulum merdeka dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai jenis upaya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah diberikan pendampingan pada guru tentang manajemen kurikulum merdeka di era industri 4.0 secara sistematis, yaitu melatih keterampilan penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran berbasis OBE, dan assesmen pembelajaran dalam kurikulum merdeka di SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama). Bentuk kegiatan adalah pendampingan berupa workshop yang dirancang selama dua hari.
