Abstract

Abstract The threat of the corona virus makes journalists have to work extra. They have to adapt this situation. Media institutions are also very much needed to educate and provide awareness for the public in the Covid-19 pandemic era. However, pandemic era has made the work of journalists more dangeraous and full of risk. Journalists has high mobility and dynamics so they often feel anxious at work because they meet many people. Based on the these facts, the researcher conducted a study about impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the mental health of journalists in Blitar city during the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). This research uses a qualitative approach. The researcher collects data from journalists during the news production process, which is devided into pre-production, production, and post-production. They cover the news in Blitar city and have been exposed to Covid. The researchers also wanted to learn about journalists' efforts to maintain mental health during the pandemic. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that Covid-19 has had an impact on various sectors including journalists and media industry. Pandemic has changed the pattern of interaction and adaptation of technology rapidly. During pandemic the duty of a journalists is very difficult and challenging. Journalists often ignore mental disorders such as anxiety, fear, working extra hours, and more vulnerable to catching covid-19. Keywords : Impact of Pandemic , Journalists, Mental Health, PPKM,

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia has been known as a plural nation because of differences in ethnicity, religion, language and culture. It becomes a necessity respect and tolerance to each other. Balerejo Village is an example of religious diversity in Blitar Regency. Almost all religions in Indonesia exist in Balerejo village. This fact is the basis for researchers to find out more deeply about the pattern of communication between the majority (Islamic) and minority (non-Islamic) religions in Balerejo Wlingi Village so that people live in harmony eventhough they have different beliefs. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. To analyze the patterns of inter-religious communication in Balerejo, researchers use the theory of intercultural communication and linear communication patterns.The results of the study show that the keys to harmony and tolerance in Balerejo Village are maintaining and preserving local wisdom such as mutual cooperation, preservation of traditional arts which involve the entire community regardless of religion. At the same time, village government plays a role in providing support through various policies that encourage religious harmony ABSTRAK Indonesia selama ini dikenal sebagai bangsa plural atau majemuk karena perbedaan suku, agama, bahasa dan budaya. Melihat kondisi ini, menjadi sebuah keharusan untuk saling menghargai perbedaan dan toleransi untuk menciptakan kerukunan antar umat. Hampir semua agama di Indonesia ada di desa Balerejo. Fakta tersebut menjadi landasan bagi peneliti untuk mengetahui lebih dalam bagaimana sebenarnya pola komunikasi antar umat beragama mayoritas (Islam) dan agama minoritas (non Islam) di Desa Balerejo Wlingi sehingga masyarakat dapat hidup berdampingan dengan rukun dan harmonis meski berbeda keyakinan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi antara umat beragama di Balerejo peneliti menggunakan teori komunikasi antar budaya dan pola komunikasi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kunci terjalinnya kerukunan antar umat beragama di desa Balerejo yaitu kesadaran untuk menjaga dan melestarikan kearifan lokal seperti budaya gotong royong, pelestarian kesenian daerah yang melibatkan seluruh masyarakat tanpa memandang perbedaan agama. Abstract

Program siaran interaktif mendorong keterbukaan komunikasi, sekaligus muncul harapan bagi masyarakat bisa berkomunikasi dengan perorangan dan lembaga yang bertanggungjawab terhadap pelayanan publik, terutama dalam suasana demokratisasi yang sedang berproses. Hal tersebut seperti disampaikan Jurgen Habermas dalam Teori Public Sphere bahwa ruang publik memberikan peran yang penting dalam proses demokrasi di setiap negara. Jenis penelitian yan digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program siaran interaktif Lang Lang Kota merupakan ruang publik dengan tetap mengedepankan netralitas dalam siarannya. Peran serta, kepedulian masyarakat terhadap layanan publik dan timbal balik yang diberikan instansi atau lembaga penyedia layanan publik menjadi kekuatan utama dalam siaran interaktif Lang Lang Kota. Sesuai dengan slogannya kritis solutif , Lang Lang Kota menanggapi berbagai informasi dan kasus yang disampaikan dengan kritis dan mengupayakan adanya solusi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine effective promotion strategies in increasing consumer confidence through Instagram. Communication strategies can be used to measure the success and failure of a communication process. Paperlines Visual is a wedding documentation vendor in Blitar that utilizes Instagram social media to get consumers. Research using descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were Marketing Manager Paperlines Visual informants and Content Creator Paperlines Visual. The object of this research is the Paperlines Visual promotion strategy using Instagram social media. The theory used is new media theory or theory. The results of this study reveal that by carrying out promotional strategies using Instagram, such as optimizing the bio feature on Instagram accounts, using reviews or testimonials from clients, arranging posting schedules, posting interactive content in uploads on the home page and instagram stories, instagram reels to receive feedback or feedback from their followers. From the upload of Paperlines Visual, it can be seen that the majority of feedback is positive, as can be seen from the comments and direct messages.

Bordering the Brantas River, Minggirsari Village develops the tourism sector through exploiting local natural potential. Outdoor activities are the main attraction for Minggirsari Village tourism such as: Hanging out at Ban Kali Brantas, Rafting on the Brantas River, Glamping tours on the banks of the Brantas River and culinary dining at Papringan. To develop tourism potential, Minggirsari Village does not only present natural activities but implements a mature strategy and planning. So, this study aims to determine the management strategy of Minggirsari Village as an environmentally friendly natural tourism village. Researchers conducted observations and interviews with the managers of the Minggirsari Tourism Village to obtain information. Qualitative descriptive method was applied in this research by using SWOT analysis and strategy. With its natural potential, Minggirsari Village is able to create Village-based tourism as one of the strategies for managing eco-friendly nature tourism villages

Abstract

Communication is the main point to create harmony in social life. Every person has a uniqueness and distinctiveness that is manifested in their communication styles. In the digital era, youtube has become one of the supporting media so that the messages conveyed are more effective, especially to reach the community or the public. Analisa Widyaningrum is a psychologist as well as a public figure who has succeeded in utilizing YouTube's social media as a channel for his message. Analisa is also known as a trainer, educator as well as director & founder at Analisa Personality Development Center (APDC), which is a psychological service center that focuses on mental health and individual self- development. This research uses a qualitative approach. This study is expected to be able to examine how Analisa Widyaningrum when communicating through his YouTube Channel, namely Analisa Channel, as well as knowing the effect of the message conveyed for viewers of Channel Analisa. YouTube is the main source of this research with observation and various libraries. The research was concluded that Analisa Widyaningrum used two communication styles, the equalitarian style (two-way) and the structuring style. While the effects include cognitive effects, affective effects related to attitudes or feelings and conative effects related to actions.

Abstract

News programs become a special identity of television stations. Its also one of the responsibility of the media to give information, education and entertainment to the society. ABTV News is a regular news program presented by PT. Astro Blitar Television, one of the local TV stations in Blitar Regency, East Java. This methodology used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is through interview, observation, and documentation. The result was conluded that production process on television have Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) namely pre-production, production and post-production. That are in accordance with the SOP for the ABTV News program production process. Pre-production on the ABTV News program begins with finding idea or information, planning, and preparation. As for the production process, consists of news coverage, followed by script writing. Post-production is the final stage in the process production of the ABTV News program.

Abstract

Social media has developed into a very effective tool for communicating and promoting things in various aspects of life, including in government. Instagram has become a very effective communication and promotion tool in various aspects of life, including in the government sector. As is the case in Blitar City, the RT Keren Program which will be launched in 2022 will use social media to communicate and compare government programs. The “RT Keren” program, which means “Neighborhood Space with Diversity, Religious and Nationalist,” aims to stabilize the community's economy after the COVID-19 pandemic by providing physical and non-physical assistance. The aim of this research is to disseminate and disseminate the use of Instagram as a branding tool for the RT Keren government program in Bendogerit Village, Blitar City. Therefore, researchers will explain how Instagram is used as a branding medium for the RT Keren program in Bendogerit Village, Blitar City. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach and a case study. Meanwhile, the theory used is new media theory. Based on observations, Instagram has developed into an effective platform for promotion and communication as well as branding. The results of previous research or previous research on the subject of this research show relevant facts. Based on the results of studies or research results, it shows that Instagram has become an effective tool for promoting RT. Keren, increases community participation, and strengthens the identity of the Bendogerit region. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed, such as implementing more consistent content management and trying to reach a larger audience. Utilizing social media as a branding tool for government programs is a positive step in encouraging community participation and improving the image of local government. The results of the research that has been carried out show that Instagram is an effective/branding tool in promoting the RT.Keren program, increasing community participation, and strengthening the identity of the Bendogerit region. Instagram social media has become a very influential communication and promotional tool in various aspects of life, including in the realm of government. However, there are several challenges that need to be overcome, such as more consistent content management and efforts to expand audience reach. Utilizing social media as a branding tool for government programs is a positive step in encouraging community participation and improving the image of local government.

Abstract

Following the pandemic, there has been a surge in interest in natural tourism as a means to attract travelers. Minggirsari Village, since 2019, has been actively harnessing its natural resources to entice tourists and has emerged as a trailblazing model village in Blitar Regency, successfully preserving and leveraging its natural splendors for tourism. This study endeavors to delineate Minggirsari's marketing communication strategy in promoting its natural destinations, employing the Marketing Communication Mix model. The qualitative case study methodology was employed, involving on-site observations, interviews with tourism managers, and activity documentation to gather and subsequently analyze data, following the Miles and Hubbermen theory's stages of data collection, processing, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Minggirsari Village's Nature Tourism employs a diverse marketing communications mix encompassing personal sales, advertising, promotions, and public relations to augment tourist footfall, encapsulated by the rallying cry "Ayo Dolan Nang Minggirsari" ("Let's Play in Minggirsari"). The integration of natural tourism with Minggirsari's creative economic potential, epitomized by the #ayodolankeminggirsari movement, demonstrates effective management of human resources, promotions, and auxiliary tourism facilities. Future research avenues could focus on gauging the responses of visitors to Minggirsari Village's natural tourism offerings, thereby enriching our understanding of its impact and efficacy.
