Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' understanding of Pancasila Student Profile Values through the implementation of Flipped Learning by combining it with digital teaching materials according to the characteristics of students in elementary schools. In addition, this research also aims to create practical digital teaching materials for elementary school students in Padang City on Civic Education learning. This research is a development research using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). This study involved a sample of elementary school students in Padang City who measured the practicality of the developed teaching materials assessed through a structured evaluation process. The results showed a high practicality score of 96%, which categorized the digital teaching materials as very practical for use in the classroom. In addition, researchers also measured the impact of the implementation of these teaching materials on student learning outcomes by obtaining significant results; 87% of students achieved scores above the threshold of completeness, with an average score of 88. The findings suggest that the integration of Flipped Learning with digital teaching materials not only facilitates a deeper understanding of Pancasila values but also positively affects students' overall performance. The implications of this study highlight the potential for further research to explore the long-term effects of digital teaching materials and Flipped Learning on different subjects and levels of education. Future research could also investigate the scalability of these materials in different educational contexts and their effectiveness in fostering critical thinking and civic engagement among students.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop interactive learning media based on Smart Apps Creator to support 21st-century skills in Pancasila education for elementary school students that are feasible, practical, and effective. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects included fifth-grade teachers and students from selected elementary schools in Padang, West Sumatra. The selection of research subjects was conducted purposively, considering factors such as implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, availability of technological infrastructure, and the schools’ willingness to collaborate. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Both qualitative and quantitative data analyses were used, including n-gain score analysis. The development resulted in an interactive media product for Pancasila education using Smart Apps Creator, which was declared feasible, practical, and effective. The feasibility assessment by material, linguistic, and media experts obtained an average score of 91.67%, categorized as very feasible. The practicality aspect, evaluated through teacher 90%, indicating a very practical product, and student responses achieved an average score of 96,6%, indicating a very practical product. The average N-gain score in the experimental class was 85.11 (high category), while the control class scored 44.57 (moderate category). These findings indicate that the developed interactive media effectively supports the enhancement of 21st-century skills, particularly in Pancasila learning for elementary students.

Abstract

Computational thinking skills are needed to adapt to the technological sophistication of the Society 5.0 era. This study aims to design numeracy literacy learning based on Minangkabau literature to improve students' computational thinking skills.. This research is Research and Development study based on the Plomp model. The research instruments consist of a validation sheet and a practicality questionnaire. The data analysis methods employed in this study were validity analysis and practicality analysis. The research involved content expert validators, linguists, media experts, and design experts. The practicality test involved teachers and students in one cluster in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The findings of the study indicate that the validation of the learning design created is 90% with a very valid category by linguists, 85% valid by content experts, 90% very valid by media experts, and 80% valid by design experts. The average practicality based on teacher and student responses is 91.73% with very paractical category. This research successfully produced a Minangkabau literature-based numeracy literacy learning design to improve elementary school students' computational thinking skills.
