Because tofu is a food source that is high in protein and is in great demand by the public, the demand for tofu is increasing. This high demand certainly has an impact on the need for soybean raw materials. To find out the added value of local and imported processed soybean products, it is important to carry out research to determine the high or low added value produced by a business using different types of soybean raw materials. The aim of the research is to analyze how much income the tofu agro-industry uses local soybeans and imported soybeans as raw materials, to analyze how much added value the agro-industry uses local and imported soybeans as raw materials in Situbondo Regency. West, Central and East are tofu production centers spread across Situbondo Regency with a total of 50 tofu agro-industry respondents. The research method used is descriptive and analytical methods. Meanwhile, imported soybean raw materials average 172 kg/production process producing an average of 143 tofu planks/production process with an added value of IDR. 10,256/kg, the added value ratio of imported soybeans is 42% in the high category.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of production, consumption of harvested area and the exchange rate on Indonesian soybean imports. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data for the period 1990-2021. The research method used was Multiple Linear Regression with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The results showed that based on the results of multiple linear analysis, it was concluded that Indonesian soybean imports were significantly influenced by soybean production, soybean consumption, harvested area and the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar. Soybean production has a significant positive effect on soybean imports, while consumption has no significant effect. Harvested area and the rupiah-dollar exchange rate had a significant negative effect on soybean imports.

Abstract

Shallots have been one of the leading vegetable commodities grown by farmers for many years. In Landangan Village, the land area designated for shallots reaches around 6.8 hectares, with an average harvest of between 7 and 7.5 tons per hectare. Good market potential makes it a priority to continue development. This research aims to identify factors that influence shallot production in Landangan Village, Kapongan District, Situbondo Regency. Samples were taken by census, which means all members of the population were used as samples. The analytical method applied is Cobb-Douglas Function Analysis, which is used to determine production factors that influence shallot production. The test results using the statistical F test show that the variables of land area, seeds, fertilizer and labor have a significant influence on shallot production in Landangan Village. However, the t test results show that only the seed and fertilizer variables have a significant effect, while the land area and labor variables do not have a significant effect on shallot production in Landangan Village.
